Hello, welcome back to Daily Bites of God's Word. This is Andy Cain. It is a joy to be back with you once again.
Today we are looking at Psalm 119 verse 42. It says, Once again,
Psalm 119 just has so many repeated themes and repeated phrases because the point of this, if you think about something that you memorize or something that you've done repetitively, it becomes ingrained in you.
It becomes just a function of who you are. And this is one of the biggest points of Psalm 119.
And it's one of the biggest points to why we here at Daily Bites of God's Word are starting with Psalm 119 before we move on to other
Psalms. Because we want to have this ingrained in us, repeated us to where it just naturally flows from us.
He says, why wouldn't I have an answer? Well, why is he needing to have an answer here? We have to go back.
He says in verse 41, Then he says,
People ask me, you know, Andy, why do you try to do what you do? It's because of the love and kindness of God.
It's because of the life He's given me. Because of the salvation He's promised me and has provided for me in Jesus Christ.
It's that answer that comes out of that. And that's where I get my answer from.
And ultimately it's because I trust in the Word of God. I trust in God's Word.
I don't trust in my own word. I don't trust in my own promise or what I can provide. I trust in the
Word of God and in the promise of God in His Word. Amen? I hope that you trust in the
Word of God. I hope that you have your answer for life and why you live based on the love and kindness and salvation of the
Lord. So trust in His Word because it is trustworthy. Amen? Well, I want to thank you for joining me on this daily bite of God's Word.
