She hurries to the kitchen Picks up a fork to lift the meat, but it is unable to hold the roast

She picks up a larger fork and has the same results The fork won't hold the meat

She reaches for a spatula Slides it under the roast and lifts it out to the platter

What the fork could not do The law is like the fork

It is a good fork well used fork But it could not hold the flesh

Because something was wrong not with the fork but with the flesh

The flesh was overcooked so I couldn't hold it

That's like the law The trouble was not with the law. It was with people in Hebrews 2 14
