The Cross, Sin, and Satan’s Defeat

So what happened at the cross? Right, but what happened? At the cross, our sins were paid for, right? So when Jesus died on the cross and cast him out, Satan no longer has his prosecutorial ability.

Christ Paid for Sin and Disarmed the Accuser

Why?

Because Jesus paid the price for those sins. Have we sinned? Do we still sin? But those sins are paid for by Jesus. So he's disarmed. Satan can't make a charge against those whom God has chosen. Satan was judged.

The Judgment and Casting Out of the Ruler of This World

John 16, 11, because the ruler of this world is judged. Right, he's been found guilty and that's not ever gonna change. Satan was cast out. John 12, 31, now is the judgment of this world. Now will the ruler of this world be cast out.
