This is a ministry of striving for eternity. The question often comes up, why is it that Christians fight against abortion so much?

Now for the culture, they want to believe that this is no big deal. This is just a bunch of tissue that is the woman's right to choose what to do with her own body.

However, at the core of this argument is the question of ownership.

You see, we fought as Christians against slavery because we said it was wrong to say, this is my property when speaking of a human being.

Well, we would agree with that and argue the very same argument when people say, not this is my property, but this is my body.

No, your body is not your property. That human being in the womb is not your ownership.

You see, this is the same argument that is made with slavery, an ownership issue.

I have ownership over doing what I want with my body, with anything within my body as I choose.

And at its core, what they say is that the human being within the womb is not human.

It's the same issue as slavery. The difference is, in abortion, it always ends in murder.
