Prayer Is Necessary for Spiritual Power

Listen, this needs to sink in. You cannot be dangerous in prayer. Dangerous to the devil. Powerful in the battle. You can't be that. Unless you actually pray. You have to pray. This church has to pray.

You need to pray as individuals. You need to pray as a church. You need to set aside time in your life. Every day. To pray. You need to set aside special seasons in this church. To have special prayer.

This has always been the case throughout history. Wherever God's kingdom advances. Be certain you're going to find God's people praying. Always. You need to be praying. You need to be constant in prayer.

Prayer in Every Part of Daily Life

You need to pray when you're shopping. Pray when you're working. Pray when you're evangelizing. Pray when you read scripture. You need to pray for your family. You need to pray for the city. Pray for the glory of the kingdom of Christ.

You need to pray for the simplest needs. When you're washing the dishes. When you're driving down the road. Jesus Christ wants you constant in prayer. Listen. There is a kingdom of darkness all around you.

The Demonic Powers Behind Spiritual Darkness

Have you ever read in scripture that there's powers? There are these high demonic powers. These powers in high places. The kingdom of darkness has a grip on this city. We know that every single lost person is following the prince of the power of the air.

They are in His power. If they're ever to be delivered, Christ has to wrestle them away from the strong man. The devil is a mighty enemy. He holds the city of Managua in his power. Why do you think you see all the darkness in this city?

The Devil’s Influence Over Managua

Why do you think you see the sin? The corruption. The hatred of the true God. Resistance to the gospel. False religion on every side. It's because the devil has a kingdom. He's a real enemy. He's out there.

Taking the Battle to the Enemy Through Prayer

He knows you're here. He's strategizing against you. I don't say that to scare you. I don't say that so that you all run over and huddle in this room together. I say to you to tell you to pick up the weapons.

Go on the offensive. Take the battle to His front door. And the way you're going to do that is through prayer.
