We read about this in the book of Revelation, and I realize there are people who say,

I don't see how this could ever happen. Well, it's practically already here. The Pope is busy bringing most religions under his ecumenical interfaith umbrella.

Only the fundamentalists in each religion are opposed to the Catholic Church's efforts, which is why the

Pope said in an interview that fundamentalism is a disease that needs to be eradicated.

And, of course, the book of Revelation tells us how, in the end times, the Antichrist will persecute the saints.

So, the Coming One -World Religion. When you read the book of Revelation, it talks about this, a coming one -world government, a one -world religion, and a one -world economic system where people cannot buy or sell unless they have the mark of the beast.

Over the past few years, more and more people, I think, are waking up to this. They're realizing that, hey, the

Bible is true. These things seem to be coming together and shaping up right before our eyes.

If a Christian denies this, you probably figure they're spending more time watching television than they are reading the

Word of God. Because here's a point I need to make. Television, and CNN is a great example of this, but television, they're not just TV programs.

TV is programming, right? Television is programming people in how to think and what they should believe.

Clearly, the major networks, their agenda is opposed to the Lord Jesus Christ. And even the television networks that are supposedly

Christian, like TBN, most of their programs preach a false prosperity gospel.

So, that's another story for another day. But you can really see how the way the world is going, things are shaping up to where this one -world government, one -world economy, and one -world religion, yeah, it's coming together right before our eyes.

So I want to look at Revelation chapter 13, because it speaks of the figure known as the

Antichrist. John calls him the beast, and also his false prophet is mentioned in chapter 13.

Revelation 13 .2 says that Satan, or the dragon, gives the

Antichrist his power and authority. And we know that, according to the Apostle Paul in 2

Corinthians 4 .4, he calls Satan the God of this world, right? The whole world is under the sway of the wicked one.

So in the end times, Satan will give his power and authority to the beast, the

Antichrist. Revelation 13 .7, John writes, it was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him, to the

Antichrist, over every tribe, tongue, and nation. That's the one -world government.

The one -world economic system is mentioned in verses 16 through 18, but referenced to the one -world religion, which is the focus of this podcast, that is mentioned in Revelation 13 .8,

where it says, all who dwell on the earth will worship him. They're worshiping Satan, but really they see his representative, the beast, the

Antichrist. Okay, so how do we identify the Antichrist and his beast system, his one -world regime?

Where is his throne? Well, this leads us to Revelation 17. John writes in Revelation 17 .1,

then one of the seven angels who had the seven bulls came and talked with me, saying to me, come and I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters.

Now the harlot is the false church. I'm trying to keep this video short and concise, you know, to the point, but we could study this out.

But the book of Revelation talks about, there's a contrast, the true church versus the false church.

The true church is depicted as the bride, pure and white. The false church is the harlot, right?

So the true church is faithful. The false church is not faithful. Maybe you've heard of the

Whore of Babylon. That language comes from the King James Version. I'm reading from the New King James, but this is the false one -world church or the false one -world religion.

This false church, John says, that she sat on many waters. So this church, this false religion is worldwide.

It's universal, if you will, in that it's everywhere. Also with this false church, verse two, the kings of the earth committed fornication with her.

So this church is also in bed with the kings of the earth. It's a political entity.

I think it's worth mentioning that Vatican City, where the Pope lives, it is not only the headquarters of the

Roman Catholic Church, it is also called the Holy See. It's a nation. So basically the

Vatican is also a political entity. It's the smallest nation on earth.

So the Pope is recognized by the United Nations as not only a religious leader, but he is also a head of state.

Many people do not know that. Also this woman, this false religion, the

Whore of Babylon, verse four, John says, she was arrayed in purple and scarlet.

Well, these are the colors worn by the Catholic hierarchy. John says, she was arrayed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.

Verse five, she is called Mystery Babylon, the great, the mother of harlots.

And of course, a Catholic mass, it all revolves around what? The golden cup.

That's the center of their worship. And Catholicism today, speaking of Mystery Babylon, right?

False religion is called Mystery Babylon. Here's what you need to know. Roman Catholicism is basically

Christianity blended with paganism. The Babylonian mystery religion, where in the book of Jeremiah, even the

Jews started adopting some of these practices, offering up cakes to the

Queen of Heaven, which was a Babylonian goddess. Again, fact check me on all of this.

The Queen of Heaven, that's a Babylonian goddess. Today, who does the Pope venerate? The Queen of Heaven, who the

Catholic church calls Mary. The Bible never calls Mary that a single time. According to the

Bible, those who worship the Queen of Heaven in the book of Jeremiah, this makes God angry.

This is a Babylonian, or this is part of Babylonian mystery religion.

So that's what Catholicism is. You take Christianity, Mystery Babylon, that pagan religion, just blend it together.

So hopefully you're starting to see the connections. Verse six, I saw the woman, the false church, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.

And of course the Pope and the Catholic church has persecuted true Christians throughout history.

All the parts about the Catholic church were taken out that made Rome look bad. So Billy Graham ordered those parts removed, and then these

Bible handbooks were given out at his crusade. All of that information though was missing.

Very interesting, considering Billy Graham said the Pope was the greatest spiritual leader of the 20th century.

But back to the book of Revelation, here's the most important part. Verse seven, John says, but the angel said to me, why did you marvel?

I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carried her. So, who is this false church and this beast system that carries her?

The beast, John says, has seven heads and 10 horns. Well, what does that mean?

Verse nine gives us the answer. Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

Check it out. Rome historically has been known, you guessed it, the city on seven hills.

So the point is this one world religion, this false church that will persecute the saints in the end times, it's located in Rome.

Where is the beast's throne? It's in the city of Rome, the city of seven hills.

So with that said, now that we know that, have you ever wondered how there could possibly be a one world religion under this man, the

Antichrist? Well, again, I think it's almost already here.

I suspect that in the end times, the Antichrist will allow people to keep their customs and traditions.

I don't think he cares about that stuff. They can meditate, they can burn their incense, this religion can have their temples and wear their headscarves.

The Antichrist is just going to demand one thing, that you worship him. You must take his mark and bow to his image.

As long as you do that, you're good. Of course, a Christian cannot do that.

To do so would be to renounce Christ. So in conclusion, the one world religion, it's practically already here.

I remember after 9 -11, there was a memorial held. The Pope gathered with leaders from all the other religions and he presided over an ecumenical interfaith prayer service.

And my question was, well, who are they praying to? Well, they have a lot more in common than most people think.

So based on that and many other things, the one world religion, it's shaping up right before our eyes.

Antichrist. So what's the takeaway? If you've never placed your faith in Christ, you need to do it now before it's too late.

2 Thessalonians 2 says that once the Antichrist is revealed, once it becomes clear and he reveals his true self, the son of perdition, once that happens, once people are in the end times, people that have rejected

Christ, the Lord says he will send a strong delusion on them that they would believe the lie.

Do not wait until it's too late. Repent and trust in Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sin.

Then find a good church where the whole counsel of God is preached. Get baptized and start serving.

The Bible calls the age we are living in, calls it the latter days. Jesus is coming back.
