(Through the Bible) Joshua 17-24 — Chuck Smith
In this sermon, Joshua, an old and faithful servant of God, gathers the tribes of Israel to deliver a final charge. He reminds them of God's goodness and faithfulness throughout their history, including the deliverance of their ancestors from idolatry and the conquest of the Promised Land. Joshua urges the people to remain faithful to God's commandments and not turn to the gods of the nations around them. He warns that if they forsake God and serve other gods, they will face the anger and destruction of the Lord. The sermon concludes with a personal anecdote about the speaker's own experience of trusting in God and the importance of using wisdom in our faith.
