Our team went out to the recent conference put on by National Right to Life. We interviewed some of the leaders in the Pro-life movement to ask specific questions about the strategies and common beliefs of these major organizations. We believe that the Pro-life movement has failed on a number of levels:
1. It has failed in that it pretends neutrality and is not fundamentally Christian.
2. It refuses to speak consistently about abortion by calling it murder.
3. It refuses to seek to end abortion by criminalizing it for anyone involved.
4. By refusing to call it murder and refusing to charge everyone involved it will not end abortion because if it isn't a crime it can't be legislated against.
5. The Pro-life movement refuses to make abortion a Gospel issue. Therefore, there is no hope for heart change and forgiveness.
