Prayer Invitation and Thursday Night Check-In

Good evening. This is not a test. This is live. This is Thursday night edition. Want to do talk with you pray with you and see if we have any folks Thursday night that want to join us that are scrolling by that will join in and Need prayer this evening wanted to pray for you and with you.

If you if you would like for me to pray with you tonight Type me. Always say don't want to air out dirty laundry. You don't want to gossip if your prayer request is for Something or someone else type me.

The Lord knows what it is and. And I'll pray for you at the end. Just want to see if anybody would Join us and need a prayer tonight. If you're live with me if you're connected Please send me a message.

Say hi. Let me know you're there. I Enjoyed the snow for me. It wasn't enough. I was hoping to get at least one big one this year. Some people thought this was going to be it. But for us it was not. Hey mom and dad didn't want to stay on here too long tonight.

Hey Judy. And this was going to be a short one. Just wanted to reach out to see if anybody would join to see if anybody need a prayer tonight. If you'd like for me to pray for you or with you just type me.

Tell me hi. If you have a prayer request just type me so I can write your name down. Don't tell me what it is. Don't tell me any names just type me because the Lord knows what it is. And we don't want to air out dirty laundry and gossip.

But I just wanted to reach out for prayer and also let you know if you're watching this video after it's live. We're gonna be doing Saturday morning at 8 o 'clock and the subject is gonna be victory in Jesus and For me, it's gonna be a good one and I hope it will be a good one to share with you and Also Saturday evening We're gonna have a meeting Here with a group of my friends a group of guys.

Hey Heath. Hey Chad. We group of us trying to meet once a month. Schedules have conflicted things have come up. We're not been able to meet lately, but we're supposed to meet Saturday night and one of the things that I wanted to do with that group of guys is Have a panel discussion.

Upcoming Saturday Topics: Victory in Jesus and a Panel Discussion

So Saturday morning I'm gonna do this at 8 o 'clock and we're gonna talk about victory in Jesus. Saturday evening not sure at what time yet, but we're gonna have a panel discussion. Hey James and Karen and The subject is going to be a Little a few sentences from this book profiting from the word By a W pink and we're going to talk about a small little paragraph out of that book with our with our panel.

Some of you I hope will know some of the guys that are going to be here. I think it's gonna be really good and Tonight was just going to be short. Not like it's been on Saturday mornings. Just want to see if anybody was out there on Thursday evening that Wanted me to pray for them.

If you have any questions if you want to chat, let me know you're there type hi. If you'd like for me to pray for you Type me So that I can pray for you at the end or pray for your prayer request. Whatever's going on.

I don't know if Thursday night will be a regular thing. All of our schedules are different and they change.

Psalm 46 and God as Refuge and Strength

Psalm chapter 46. God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though. The earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea. Though its waters roar and foam though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.

There is a river whose streams make glad the City of God. The holy dwelling places of the Most High God is in the midst of her. She will not be moved. God will help her when morning dawns. The nation's made an uproar.

The kingdoms tottered his praise. He raised his voice the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Come behold the works of the Lord who has wrought desolations in the earth.

He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear into. He burns the chariots with fire. Cease striving and know that I am God. I Will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.

The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Hope that was encouraging to you. Kind of want to read that as a prayer and as an encouragement to whoever might be watching. Again I wanted to just come come on tonight and reach out and see if anybody wanted to pray with me.

Let me pray for you if you would like prayer type me. And and I will pray pray for you. Let me know how you're doing chat with me ask questions. If you would like prayer type me. Don't have to know any specifics just want to pray for you and whatever is going on.

Talking about victory in Jesus. I thought it was Reading over the psalm psalm 46. The psalmist talks about that God will be exalted in the earth. Jesus came and he brought his kingdom and he established his kingdom and he will be exalted in the earth.

And that's that's part of where this is going Saturday morning when we talk about victory in Jesus. Jesus has Established one and has the victory and his kingdom is here and he will be exalted in the earth.

I know there's so many depressed Christians pessimistic Christians that are out there and They're they're looking for bad times and I know the scripture tells us that Jesus tells us that the world hated him first and so they will hate us.

There will be Persecutions there will be a Gerald there will be persecutions for Christians. There will be trials and tribulations for Christians. But what we have to remember that the scripture also teaches is that in Psalm 46 that we just read God says I will be exalted in the earth.

And how does that happen? How does that come about. Jesus came brought his kingdom established his kingdom and it he reigns and rules as king of kings and Lord of lords and it is here and he will be exalted through his son and as king of this kingdom here on this earth and That's kind of the direction that we're going to go Saturday morning talking about Christ as king and the victory that he is one and the kingdom that we now abiding in as as his children.

Wanted to give folks a chance to come on as they're scrolling by on Facebook. They see what's going on. To let anybody that's that's scrolling by that pops up that that somebody is here. That wants to pray for them and with them if you would like prayer type me.

We don't want to have any specific prayer request. The Lord knows what your prayer request is. So I just ask you to type me so that I can pray for you and pray with you. And I would love to do that. It's my privilege to do that wanted to reach out on Thursday night.

During the week. Wanted to give God praise. Scripture says the The Lord inhabits the praise of his people. So we want to we want to praise him we want to praise him with our lives with our mouth with our prayer and he abides in our praise and he is there and he works in our praise and he goes before us and We have victory in him so we want to pray and we want to praise and we want to.

We want to dwell and abide in that as he abides in the praise of his people and we will.

We will.

Enjoy his victory that he is he is already one. For God's glory and our benefit and we can rejoice in that. So, let me go ahead and and pray. Anybody else that just that tunes in and you would like me to pray for you.

We give you praise and Thanksgiving and we give you all glory and blessing and We lift your name on high and we're so thankful for who you are and what you've done.

You're a creator you're sustainer and You're you're all things you're all powerful. You're all knowing you're all wise. Wisdom comes from you. All good things come from you. We know that you're sovereign you're in control and We trust in you and that's why we come to you and pray tonight.

For all those that join that pass by that scroll by father I pray for them and ask that you would draw them to yourself that you would Help them and bless them pray for mom and dad that you would comfort them strengthen them help them and in their hearts and in their lives and Father just to whoever else that comes by lift them up to you.

Whoever watches this video and and That has joined us I pray for them and I ask that you would Help them in the ways that they may not feel comfortable reaching out and saying pray for me. So I pray for them.

And thank you again for your word. And giving us the freedom that we have to spend time together in your word study your word. To know who you are through your word more and more and more and we Give you all praise and honor.
