Praying in the Spirit from Jude

Hello friends, this is manna in the morning and our devotion today is Praying in the spirit. Our scripture passage is found in the epistle of Jude in verse 20. We see in God's Word but ye Beloved building up yourselves on your most holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost.

Praying in the Spirit as Access to God's Power

Jude speaks here of praying in the spirit. For to pray in the power of the spirit means unobstructed access to the Almighty Influence to gain his attention and power to attain answers to our pleading petitions.

Prayer That Brings Heavenly Intervention

For praying in the power of the spirit storms the portals of heaven with violence Shuts up the heavens from rain and makes fire fall upon the drenched altar of sacrifice. It makes Kings tremble and kingdoms shake.

Spiritual Power Over Strongholds and Opposition

For a man praying in the power of the spirit has the ability to shake strong cities off their Foundations and the potential to send mountains tumbling into the sea. To startle the very angels of heaven and rattle the red-hot gates of hell.

For a man full of the spirit and Anointed with the spirit and praying in the spirit knows no resistance. Has no opposition. Fears no earthly mortal and conquers all unearthly enemies. For praying in the power of the Holy Spirit is the essence that makes prayer Factual and fervent and gains the ear of the Almighty Great God.

A Prayer to Impact the Generation for Christ

Teach us to pray like Jude in the power of the Holy Spirit To impact our generation for Christ and the gospel. It is in the strong name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray. Amen.
