God? Well that's a very interesting question sometimes people will ask.

Well even Moses asked it. We see this in Exodus chapter 3.

When Moses was being told to go back to Israel in the scene with the burning bush, and he knows of the gods, the fake gods of Egypt, but Moses said to God in verse 13 of Exodus 3, if I come to the people of Israel and say to them, the

I say to them? God said to Moses, I am that I am.

And that's really an attribute of God that we see him explain there, that God is self -existent.

The fact that we end up seeing here is that when we look at God and he says,

I am. That is what he calls himself. He's referring to the fact that he is a self -existent being, that he had no beginning and had no end.

That's an essential part of who God is. Now we know of God as a triune God, he's three persons,
