Hello, welcome back to Dated by God's Word. This is Andy Cain, and it is a joy to be back with you once again.
Today we're looking at Psalm 119 verse 32. It says, I shall run the way of your commandments, for you will enlarge my heart.
Ladies and gentlemen, this word run, we want to, yes, we want to learn how to walk first, of course, but we want to run the way of your commandments.
We want it to be high gear and just total focus, straight ahead, moving quickly, and moving efficiently in the way or in the lifestyle, in the righteous living of the commandments of God.
It says, you, Lord, will enlarge my heart. You may grow my capacity to love.
You grow my capacity to learn the Word of God. You grow my capacity to obey you.
God grows our capacity to have a heart for Him, to love Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, our neighbor as ourself, to love our brethren, love our communities, and all these things.
And He says, I want to run the way of your commandments. I want to, you know, you think it's about somebody running, you know, there's a higher level of action, there's more excitement, there's more action.
It's like, I want to be in the thick of it. I want to enjoy it. I want to run. I want to really enjoy seeking after and living in the way of your commandments, and I want to see my heart enlarged.
I want to see my obedience enlarged. I see everything about my God -centeredness grow towards you, inclined towards the
Lord. So, I pray this is your goal, that you want to see yourself, of course, walk.
You know, we've got to crawl before we can walk, got to walk before we can run, but get to that place of maturity where you are running, and you were living, and you were hitting on all cylinders, and repenting of sin, always repenting, minimizing our sin, living in righteousness of holiness.
