But they were multi-signed. Men of Egypt began to tremble at the power of God. They were multi-handed. These people came out. They saw the cloud of fire going before them. They saw the Red Sea being parted too.

Moses Receives the Heavenly Pattern for the Sanctuary

Seven days came in the wilderness. God called his servant Moses on the mountain. And he kept him there for forty days. During that time God gave him a heavenly plan. When Moses came down, all people gathered around him.

He told them, God has given him a prosperity to build a house for him. Well, that is a mystery. Why should God want a house? He is everywhere. He lives everywhere. Why should God want a house? Have you ever seen a gate king going about in search for a hut?

Imagine a gate king going in your field. And you question him. Your majesty, what are you searching for? And he may say to you, I am looking for a habitation for myself. I am looking for a hut for myself.

And you may say to him, your majesty, you have so many palaces. Why are you coming over here looking for a hut? Why do you want to live among us? You find it very very hard to understand this. Why should a king of that stature come like a beggar?

But this truth is still more mysterious. God is saying to those people, those who have aggrieved him. Oh my people, the mother blood build me a sanctuary. Even though they would have thought for centuries, They could not have understood the meaning of it.

But they knew one thing. They were worship God. Because they have seen Moses on the mountain. They have seen God's cloud on the mountain. So they knew fully well, that Moses was not a mad man. He was a man of God.

And he was speaking as a man of God. And they must obey what he said. And they obeyed. And whatever they felt like, they brought offering. According to God's command, that tabernacle was built. It was a unique structure.

No other building was ever built like that anywhere. Going by the dimensions, going by the material, it was unique. No engineer or architect ever had designs of the building. It was God's house. The lot was complete.

The Threefold Light of the Tabernacle

And the cloud came as upon it. And the fire came as a sacrifice. And from that day, God began to speak in a new way. He began to speak from between shadow beams, above the mustard seed, above the yard.

You know that tabernacle is three parts. In the outer court, in the holy place, the most holy place. In the outer court, there is sunshine. There is sunlight. In the holy place, light made by oil. In the most holy place, no door, no window, no hole.

Only divine light. Sunlight, oil light, divine light. Sunlight, oil light, divine light. In the most holy place, there was an ark of God. The ark was made of a sheet of wood. Overlaid with gold on both sides.

On the top of the ark was a golden plate, a mustard seed. And the same golden plate, turning both sides, became a tarp. And the same golden plate, turning both sides, became a tarp. And we are told, God began to speak from between shadow beams, from that day.

God Reveals His Heart Through the Tabernacle

You know, God had already spoken to Moses in the burning bush. Then he spoke to him on the mountain for forty days. Then he spoke to him from the cloud. By now, this is an entirely different speaking.

It is wonderful to see God speaking from the bush. Imagine the burning bush in the fire. And there came the voice of God from that bush. And Moses was full of wonder. I see no person. Yet I hear the voice coming out.

The voice came from the fire. Then the voice came from the cloud. Then God spoke to him face to face on the mountain. Giving every detail of tabernacle. But now, he is speaking a different way. He is speaking an entirely different way.

God was telling Moses his heart's secret. God has been keeping in the heart many secrets. From eternity. But from that day, God began to reveal to him all the hidden heart-seeking of centuries. From that day, they became God's people.

Even though they could not understand what God was saying, But the fact remained. God was speaking. And he spoke clearly. And he spoke lovingly. And he kept on reading his mind. That's why God had brought them out of Egypt.

That's why he had told them to build a sanctuary. Not for the sake of gold and silver and brass and blue and purple scarlet. God has no need for these things. He owns everything. But he told them how they can hear the voice of God so clearly.

How can a mortal man, a wretched man, a ruined man hear the voice of God so clearly? How can the mind of God be revealed to a wretched man? How can the heavenly mysteries hidden from ages be revealed to a man?

The mysteries hidden even from angels also. What God had been hiding from angels, was now being revealed through those cherubim. As long as God could speak, people are the tabernacle. But when people fear God, people are no longer a tabernacle.

It's only a perishing material. That's a very solemn warning. Every building, doesn't matter who builds it, or how you build it, it's only a perishing material. But when God does speak, and he speaks clearly, it's only then, only then, the house of God.

Longing for God to Speak in His House

And that's our longing for this poor structure. That the loving God, the holy God, the mighty God may speak to us. We don't want good sermons. Either we want some very good Bible teachings. We are not after signs and miracles.

Or large numbers, or large incomes. Our longing is, that the loving God, the mighty God, the great God, the merciful God, may speak from the heart. We may gather for a weekly meeting, or Sunday meeting, small or big gathering, or only a small number.

At any time of the day and night, our prayer is, God may speak out his heart's secret. He may tell us everything. He may not withhold from us, what he has longing to reveal. Have you seen two friends?

For some time they are thick friends. They confide very freely. They tell everything. Then through some words spoken, there comes a staining in between. There comes some distance. Outwardly they smile and meet together.

But the heart has been changed. Every time you want to say something, there comes in a voice, don't tell him everything. Don't tell him everything. Be very kind. Give him tea and cake and coffee. It doesn't matter.

Give money also. But be careful. You can't trust him fully. He'll fail you. Be careful. It is very painful. Then something happens. We find it very hard to bear it. But when the bond again is torn, what a joy comes back.

Again comes confidence. Same with God also. There are occasions when God is silent. We pray and heavens are closed. We come to a meeting, nothing happens here. And there is a very sad thing happening.

And God, the loving God is silent. Even though he supplies our needs, asks for our prayers, but he does not tell us everything. Please see book of Genesis. Book of Genesis. Chapter 18. And verse 17. And Lord said, Shall I hide Abraham there?

At that time Abraham never knew. Abraham never knew. He never knew what was going to happen. He never even heard of God. But God is saying, How can I hide this thing from my dear, loving, intimate, trustworthy friend?

God is saying, I cannot move a step further. I cannot do anything. I am helpless. I must open my heart to my dear Abraham. In the mystery, God is saying that way. I will not do anything. Then God himself came to Abraham.

In his own loving way, he opened Abraham's heart. Then God says, Now I am free to my God. This is God's desire. God longs to speak to us. To reveal unto us his heart in Moses. That our prayer for destruction.

God may feel free to speak with us. God may not withhold any mystery, any secret, any plan, any word from us. Even though that word may hurt us. It may be a word of rebuke. A word of warning. But a word may be.

That is a very hard command. Our prayer is, God don't spare us. Jesus happens to have a longing. Our outward miracles are final. We want to live close to God. With our heart, our own heart can be opened.

God can say to us, How long my son? Look into my heart. And let me tell you everything. Do you want that experience? That's why God told you. That's why God began to speak to him from that day. The sad thing was, They as a nation did not appreciate the love of God.

Seeking Revelation Rather Than Emergency Help

They only wanted God when they were in trouble. They only shed tears when they were in trouble. After that, they had no time for God. And they are neither sad in any number of cases. The only thing of God when we are in trouble.

Oh, how sad it is. So many of us only come to God in trouble. They thought about coming to God. Come out to him day and night. And ask him to speak to you. And tell him very clearly. Lord reveal to me thy heart's secret.

Things which are hidden from him, the great man. See Matthew gospel. And tablets 13. And verse 16. And 17. Matthew gospel. And tablets 14 and verse 16 and 17. And blessed are your eyes for they see and your ears for they hear.

Many people have heard those things. But you have not seen them. You know, he's here, and I heard that. See, the same words are being repeated. God wants us to know His secrets. But He only goes by what He does.

Now, what is your desire in coming to the house of God? Do you come for sermons? Do you come for good Bible teaching? Do you come for good fellowship? Or, what is your motive? Please, see for yourself.

And then you will know how close your God to you is. So, we pray from the very beginning. The Holy God, the loving God, may speak from between each one of us. Day by day, week by week, month by month, revealing us all things in the heart.

Prayer for a House of Revelation

And may it be our daily experience. A daily enjoyment. Now, shall we pray? Our loving Heavenly Father. In the name of Lord Jesus, our loving Savior, we thank Thee for this happy day. Thank Thee for those who have come to take their share of blessing.

Thank Thee for those who have done for us already. Now, we pray the promise of Numbers, chapter 7 and verse 89. We fulfill that day by day. Lord, take away our eyes from perishing things. And take away our eyes from things of naught.

Take away our eyes from signs and miracles. Give us a hunger and thirst for the living God. A longing to be with Thee and live truly. A desire to hear Thee speaking from Thy heart, revealing all our secrets.

Lord, make the house a house of revelation every day. Whether we gather on weekdays or Sundays. Whether we are here for a public meeting or just for a personal testimony. May we find the loving in the living God, speaking, revealing, showing things beyond our own capacity.
