This is a ministry of striving for eternity. As we continue to look at the attributes of God, we come to the attribute of kindness.

Now this fits under the attribute that we classify as morality. When we look about God, we see that God is kind.

He is not harsh to his children. We can show kindness because God has shown kindness to us.

We know what kindness is because it comes from the nature of God. Now you can see that David had that expression in 2

Samuel 9. After Saul is dead and David is now king, it says in that verse,

And the king said, Is there not still someone in the house of Saul that I may show the kindness of God to him?

In other words, God showed David kindness, and therefore David naturally wanted to show kindness to the house of Saul.

He wanted to show kindness because kindness was shown to him. We see in Titus 3, 4, it says,

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared.

This is dealing in the realm of salvation because the next verse is going to say we're not saved by works.

It deals with that regeneration, but how does it describe it? As the goodness and loving kindness of God.

God is a kind God because he shows kindness to us. We should rightly show kindness to others.
