Preaching to the Church Versus Open-Air Evangelism

I think there's a little bit of difference from preaching in the pulpit to the church where a corporate gathering in the church is for the believer. I think you're going to approach that a little bit different.

I think we talked in another episode, maybe, that the main purpose for that corporate gathering is not evangelism. You should be getting people pointed to Christ in every message, so in a sense there's some evangelism in every message, because you are most likely going to have unbelievers there.

Getting Straight to the Gospel in Street Preaching

I think generally, with the intent of going out and doing open-air evangelism, at least from my perspective, I'm assuming everybody out there is an unbeliever, and I want to get right to the gospel. I think we can do that through preaching a text expositorily or just going to different texts and hitting all the points of the gospel.
