The Holy Post's Election Hypocrisy

On Election Day, November 5th, 2024, The Holy Post released a video with host Sky Jatani talking about being a good loser. He started by talking about sports, but he ultimately related this to being a good loser in an election.

After working my guts out and giving my all on Election Day, I can live with the results, regardless of what's at stake. I can play by the rules and follow the law. Win or lose, I can genuinely treat political opponents and fellow citizens with love and.

Respect.

I can express gratitude regardless of the outcome, all because of the strength I possess as a follower of Christ.

The Holy Post’s Post-Election Reaction

The next week, on November 13th, The Holy Post, with Phil Fisher, Sky, Kaitlin Chess, and Esau McCauley, discussed the election after Donald Trump won. Now, The Holy Post is radically anti-Trump. They have partnered with enemies of God to tell Christians to be at peace, voting for the party of Sodom and Child Sacrifice.

And Sky, well, he didn't sound so much like a cheerful loser.

Kamala Harris was making a big push at the end of her campaign about how terrible Trump is, how dangerous he is, how anti-democratic he is, how anti-constitutional he is, how fascist he is, how authoritarian he is.

And Americans walked into the voting booth and basically said, we'll do anything for lower prices, including vote for that guy.

Phil Fisher chimed in and summarized Sky's thoughts like this.

I feel like you just insulted most Americans with a fairly broad brush.

Hypocrisy and the Pharisees

So much for treating political opponents with love and respect. They regurgitated Kamala Harris' talking points and used them to judge others. You're a bad person because you want to be able to afford food so you can live.

What's with these whitewashed tombs? In Matthew 23, Jesus said they preach, but do not practice. They tie up heavy burdens hard to bear and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their little finger.

In Luke 12 .1, he said, beware the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy when we understand the text.
