耶利米书14:1-15:9 谁在乎你呢?
Two weeks ago, we received a bad news. Last summer, a mother and daughter who joined the worship service were murdered at home. A boy with autism was left behind. Now, perhaps we need to ask our parents to take care of him.
If you knew their story, would you, as their close friend, care about this news? We do. Because they were once part of our family. In addition to them, we also lost two young men. Perhaps you still remember their youthful faces with smiles.
Who cares about them and their families? We do. Because they were once part of our family. They communicated with the Church. They were friends of Jesus. Dear brothers and sisters, welcome to the main sermon of May 22, 2016.
Today's sermon is recorded in Ephesians 14, 1 -15, 9. Ephesians 14, 1 -15, 9. The topic of this sermon is Who cares about you? Last week, we saw that John accused the Jewish people that they are like rotten bags.
But,.
These Jews who were accused of disobeying the Jewish law, do they care? What about you? Do we care about our own sins? If you really want to communicate with God, if you are a citizen of God, you must care.
You must care about your family, relatives, and friends. Do you care about their salvation and salvation? In this sermon, we see that God cares about the salvation and salvation of the Jews. We also see that the people of God, the prophet Jeremy, are the leaders, the faithful, who care about the judgment of the Jews.
In Ephesians 14, 1 -6, we see that a great drought will befall the Jewish people. In the first verse, it is John who wants the prophet Jeremy to see this great drought. Let's look at this verse. In the second verse, it is John who wants the prophet Jeremy to see this great drought.

You care for Jehovah's people. You care for his people. I ask you, Jehovah, do not leave them. Like Moses in the wilderness, I ask you, Jehovah, do not leave the Israelites. This is also because of the people of Jehovah.
The prophet Jeremiah knew that John could not avoid Jehovah's great discipline, but he cared more about the relationship between John and Jehovah, that is, Jehovah is their eternal God, and they are Jehovah's eternal people.
For the people under Jehovah, Jeremiah pleaded with Jehovah, asking Jehovah not to leave them. Brothers and sisters, friends, what do you care for? Is it God? Is it the relationship between you and God?
Is it eternal hope? We have one Jehovah, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our saviour, and he will be our substitute for the great drought. In order to protect us, to renew us, to restore the relationship between us and God, he cares for us.
In the 14th chapter of Jeremiah, from chapter 10 to 16, we see Jehovah's accusation against the Jews. What are these accusations? In chapter 10, Jehovah says, The people love falsehood, and do not forbid footsteps.
So Jehovah did not forgive them. What does this mean? I think we can translate it as, the Lord did not believe in Jehovah, and did not follow God's law, but went to worship false gods, and listened to false prophets' lies, and did not see the sword, and did not encounter Jehovah.
This is the so-called eternal peace that they longed for. Even if they fast, fast and fast, it is just a form. They are false in nature, and love falsehood. If there are refugees, we cannot forbid their footsteps.
They have left Jehovah. In their lives, they are false gods, and follow their ways, and are even more loyal to Jehovah's law. So Jehovah commemorates their sin, and accuses them of sin, and uses sword, knife, famine, plague, to exterminate them.
Brothers and sisters, friends, God watches over our footsteps, and does not allow us to lie. We must faithfully and diligently believe in the One True God, and listen to His words, and clearly understand His truth, and do not be deceived by the falsehoods and lies that cover up the truth.
We must also firmly believe in God Jehovah cares for us. Even if a sheep is lost, He is a good shepherd. He will find us, and lead us into His arms. Please let us have a pure heart, a humble heart, and a heart that truly listens to God, and receives God's words, so that we can walk with Him on the right path.
So how can we tell people to stay away from Jehovah? It is not their appearance, but their way of doing things. In verses 13 -16, the false prophets said to the Jews, You will not see the sword, nor will you encounter famine.
Jehovah will keep you safe here for a long time. These false prophets told the Jews not to be afraid, not to panic. There will be no drought, famine, war, and so on. On the contrary, the false prophets said, Jehovah will keep them safe here for a long time.
These false prophets called Jehovah false prophets, claiming that Jehovah ordered them to be false prophets. At this time, Jehovah tested these false prophets, who fabricated false ideas, and fabricated false stories, to confuse people.
Why are their false prophecies so cruel? It is because these ignorant people blindly followed and obeyed Jehovah, and were enraged and punished by Jehovah for themselves. As a result, the tragedies they encountered could not be erased.
Of course, the prophet Jehovah repeatedly begged Jehovah to admit his sins and the sins of his ancestors, to repent to Jehovah, and pleaded with Jehovah not to hate the Jews not to be enraged by Jehovah's throne of glory, and not to destroy the covenant with Abraham.
He begged Jehovah not to leave them, not to be enraged by them, not to kill them, not to take them away, not to send them to the hands of the enemies of the North. But Jehovah again stopped Jehovah from praying for the people, to be the judge of Jehovah's fate.
Because the judgment of Jehovah's fate had already been decided, and had already come to pass. At that time, it was already too late for Jehovah to stop Jehovah from praying for them. Brothers and sisters, we are now at the end of our lives.
The situation we are facing will not be the same as the time of Jehovah. On that day, Jehovah issued a warning through the prophet Jehovah. Today, God is reminding us through his words. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24,.
At that time, there were many false prophets, who were bewildered, only because there were so many unrighteous things. Many people's hearts were gradually cold. Only patience will save you. Let us be humble, obey the teachings of Jesus Christ, and follow his footsteps.
Are you listening to the words of Jesus Christ? In the previous sermon, we saw the prophet Jehovah repeatedly praying to Jehovah for the suffering of the people of Judah. He prayed to Jehovah for the sake of his name, for the sake of his covenant with Abraham.
However, the judgment that Jehovah issued to these helpless people had already been decided. Jehovah's great discipline to them had already reached the point of no return. In chapter 15, verse 1, Jehovah said,.
Even if there are so-called warriors led by the Lord, such as Moses and Samuel, who died and rose again, they will stand before Jehovah and pray for the people of Judah. Jehovah's heart did not pity these people.

This does not mean that the prophet Jehovah led the helpless people, or that he did not respect Jehovah's heart, but that these people, because they were so despised, were not even willing to repent. Even though Jehovah gave them multiple opportunities, they did not know how to repent. The judgment of the people of Judah had already reached the point of no return. In verse 3, Jehovah said, I have destined to bring them harm.
