The Blood of the Lamb and the Word of Testimony

Revelation 12 and just one verse, verse 11 and it says this And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives unto death. That's our text tonight.

We're just going to look at one subject tonight. We're going to be looking at the blood, the blood of Jesus. One of the most neglected subjects to be preached today in the church is the message of the blood, the blood of Christ.

But the blood, it really is the answer to everything. The answer of all life's ills is found in the blood of Christ. This may sound a little patronizing, but truly the blood is the answer to everything.

Maybe because the answer to life lies in such a simple thing, causes it to be neglected, I don't know. Maybe there's an embarrassment in this day and age to preach a blood religion. Maybe the church is so afraid to offend your adversary that she keeps quiet on the subject of the blood.

But realistically, the devil and his angels, that enemy of old, he hates the blood of Christ. The devil hates the blood with a perfect hatred. Even though he's deceived the whole world, he knows that the church today still has power over him through the blood of Christ.

We must settle this in our hearts today. You must know today that the power of Christ is given to the church through his blood. We have power over the enemies of Christ, over the enemies of the church in the blood of Jesus Christ.

You must know this tonight, that you have power in that precious blood. It is impossible to estimate the value of the blood in a believer's life. You cannot overestimate the power it contains. It is the answer to everything.

God has given us power through the blood, not only to protect us from the devil, but also to overcome him and his schemes. He says this in Luke. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy.

And nothing shall by any means hurt you, notwithstanding in this rejoice, not that the spirits are subject unto you, but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. How many of you tonight know that your name is written in heaven?

Raise your hand. Shout Amen. Is it worth shouting Amen for, that your name is written in heaven? But only a fool today would pick up a poisonous snake or a scorpion. If you research the word for serpent and scorpion in your Bible, you'll find that they are symbolic of the devil and all the demons of hell.

Satan has no power over the believer, as long as we apply the blood continually in our lives. Those people who try to prove their faith by picking up snakes and drinking poison, they only tempt God. That's all they do, and we are not to tempt God.

That is not exercise in faith. God does not need to be proved in a circus ring or a carnival sideshow. The world will only know Christ when he is exalted in our lives. He says this in John 12. If I be lifted up from the earth, we'll draw all men unto me.

And the Lord Jesus Christ must be lifted up today in his church. That blood must be preached that all men may come to know him and his cross. They may know him in salvation. When he was lifted up, that blood flowed freely.

Freely and easily that blood flowed. There was enough power in the blood to take away all the sin of all the world. The blood of Christ has all the power and all the authority that we need for salvation, for discipleship and ministry.

You may not walk on water, but you can walk on in the blood of Christ. You can walk on if you know that you are walking on the blood of Christ today. The overcoming of the world and the devil are synonymous with the application of the blood.

Salvation as a Continuous Spiritual Battle

This begins with conversion, doesn't it? This is at the beginning of this walk, this great salvation. It's an overcoming, it's continuous from the point of salvation. From the moment you're born again, just give that devil a few weeks to come to you, and you know you're in a battle.

How many of you tonight know that you're in a war? This is a warfare. He wants that life from you. He's jealous of that life. He's been kicked out of heaven. He's been rejected by God. And God has seen a new thing.

He sees a new creature on the earth today. The church of Christ, the new creation. But the devil, he wants that life. And you must know, if you are born again, you will know that you are in a battle. When a person receives Christ, they are given the gifts of salvation.

This salvation was only made possible through the shedding of blood, the precious blood of Jesus. In Ephesians it says, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.

According to his grace. Not through your self-effort to Christianize yourself. It's an ugly thing to be Christianized and not be saved. It's an ugly thing. It's not hard to live the Christian life. It's impossible unless we know the power of the blood.

Life always begins with blood. The blood is the seed. And every seed reproduces after its own kind. When the blood of Christ comes into the believer, when it covers the believer, it will reproduce Christ in us.

An acorn seed will never reproduce an apple. An apple seed will never reproduce a coconut. But if you have that seed of Christ in you, it will reproduce the character of Christ. His divine nature. We are holy people.

Set apart unto God. We are his people. We are chosen people. Not a frozen people. We can say Amen. That God has redeemed us by the blood of the Lamb. Now on the very day that Adam fell in the garden, he not only became reprobate, he became a totally new creature.

Apart from what he was created for. His spirit sank in subjection to his soul. And from that moment, man would forever be led by the carnality of the soul. Just turn on the news. Read the newspapers this week.

And you will see that man is not led. The natural man is not led by the spirit. He is led by his own carnality. He is Adam's seed. That old Adamic nature. The nature of self. It is the nature of the beast.

Man has become a new thing. This new soulish creature could never recover from such intimate fellowship with God. Communion with God was lost when Adam left the garden. Only a blood sacrifice could restore such fellowship.

Adam, the Garden, and the Blood-Covered Believer

You know the story of them in the garden. Though they pitifully sewed together a covering of figs leaves. They were still transgressors of that one law. And they had to be put out. God said to them, you must depart from this place.

You can never again come to this place. Those fig leaves metaphorically are works without faith. Filthy rags before the Lord God. Nothing could cover the sin and their rebellion. Nothing could hide the stench of death that day.

The day that you eat of the fruit, you shall surely die. The Lord God said to them. And sin is death. It brought death to the human race that very day. Nothing could bring back the life that was lost.

No amount of human effort can bring man back to God. There are enough religious towers of Babel to reach to the moon today. But no religion of itself can satisfy God. Only when he over God himself. We know that it was Jesus walking in that garden.

When he made them coats of skin to cover their nakedness. That nakedness, it represents sin. Every man and woman that is unregenerate on this planet today. Will one day stand before the living God. And they will stand before him naked.

But the redeemed of the Lord. They are always clothed in fine linen. You are the redeemed. We will stand before him clothed. We won't stand before him naked. We will be clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

When you stand before him. He is not going to see that old Adamic nature. He is going to see his son. He is going to see the son. Christ Jesus. That's who he sees. To get that skin off an animal. To clothe Adam.

There had to be a shedding of blood. It's a type. No blood. No salvation. It was the blood in the skin of another. That clothed Adam and Eve. And only the clothing worth wearing on this catwalk today.

Is the skin and the blood of Christ Jesus. It's the only thing worth wearing today. No nakedness in heaven. No nakedness here on earth. In this church either. I was glad to hear. Like many of you. That supposedly born again woman.

That was kicked out of that TV show. For being naked. She's been put out of her church. I was glad to hear. That there are men that will make a stand. They put her out of their church. She's complained about it.

Said that they were heartless brutes. Said that there was no compassion. Said that there was no love of Jesus there. But she was on that thing. Parading herself naked. She had offered to have sex on the TV.

For just a few thousand pounds. But I cannot understand why they didn't put her out earlier. Why they didn't put the woman out. Just for going on such a filthy program. It's pornography. And this country is obsessed today with such filth.

There are men and women in the church even. Who are bound hand and foot. By pornography. But they need to call. Upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Apply the blood. And they will be delivered. Because there is power in that blood.

To set the captive free. When Adam and Eve rebelled. It says in Genesis chapter 3 and 7. They hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God. Amongst the trees of the garden. Now you know that a tree in scripture.

Is always symbolic of a believer. The word for garden means to be edge devout. The garden is the church. In the garden is to be in Christ. How many Adams. How many Eves are there in the church tonight.

They sit there with their self righteous fig leaves. Double stitched. Single breasted suits. Shirts and ties. Pencils, skirts, golden brooch and lady jackets. Hats and scarves to show all humility and subjection.

But without the blood. Without the blood of Jesus Christ. All these things are but fig leaves. Useless filthy rags. No good before the living eternal God. The judge of all the earth. The blood and nothing else.

Secures salvation. The blood and nothing else. Secures salvation. You cannot be saved by attending church. Or bible studies. You will not be saved through praying or paying tithes. But if you are saved.

In the church is what and who you are. You are part of the church. If you are saved. You will be compelled to gather. With the redeemed on the Lord's day. You will study the bible. You will pray and pay tithe.

Because that's what you are. You are part of his body. Part of the church. These things cannot save you. They just prove that Christ is living. That he has a people separate unto himself. In Hebrews 9 and 21 it says.

Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry. God cannot use a person. Unless they have been covered with the blood. All those implements in Leviticus and the Levitical system.

Are just types of ministry for the believer. He cannot use anyone. Unless they have been covered with the blood. We are the vessels of God. We are his instruments. Your arms tonight are his arms. Your feet are his feet.

Your eyes are his eyes. Your tongue is his tongue. You have been sprinkled with the blood. To become that vessel. Have you been sprinkled with his blood? Or are we hiding from the presence of God amongst the trees.

Went to preach in that church up in Leicester. And I had to stay there overnight. And I went into one of the leaders houses. I wasn't in there 2 minutes. And they offered me a can of beer. I couldn't believe it.

They knew that I was the visiting preacher there. And they offered me a can of beer. I went to the church to preach. I told in, I said they are dead. They lost just a form of religion. Perhaps a hundred people.

But I preached the gospel. And you could see them cringe. They never wanted to hear about the blood of Christ. So caught up in self-righteousness. They sowed fig leaves amongst themselves. Could have covered the whole town.

But they were dead. They were just hiding amongst the trees. In the garden. There were real believers there. But the tears were there. Hiding amongst the trees. And when they were exposed. They liked it not one bit.

The Blood, Sanctification, and the Passover

The blood prepares us for the work of the Holy Spirit. As the refiner. The Holy Spirit cannot sanctify or refine anything. Unless it has been washed in the blood. He only looks for the blood. The only thing the Holy Spirit looks for.

Is the blood of Jesus Christ. Your personalities won't impress Him. Your financial status will not impress Him. Your academic achievements don't impress God at all. He is not even bothered about the color of our skin.

Able bodied or disabled. Makes no difference to Him. He looks for the blood. The Lord told Moses. Take the blood Moses. Strike it upon the lintel and the door posts. When the destroyer comes. When he sees the blood.

He will pass over your house. When the destroyer came near that house. He never looked inside to see if there was anyone in there smoking. He never looked inside to see if they were watching television.

He never looked inside to see if anyone was scared that night. He only looked for the blood. And when he saw the blood. He passed on. He went on. It's the blood that saves us. And nothing else. When the blood is applied.

The refiner. He can work. And he must work. Elijah said to the people. The God that answereth by fire. Let him be God. And all the people answered and said. It is well spoken. When the blood has been applied.

We have the assurance. That the work that God has begun in us. He will finish. He will finish the work. That he has begun in you. And in the church. He is the author. And the finisher of our faith. The devil knows this.

So Trojanly he works to blind the eyes. Of the church. From this promise. Now we must not be unaware of his plans and schemes. He blind your eyes tonight. He tried to get you to add something to Christ.

But you cannot. It's the blood. Nothing else. Only Christ. The refiner works in us. Beginning with his convicting nature. The very nature of holiness. Will bring conviction to the people of God. If you are not convicted over your own sin.

You don't have the Holy Spirit. It's as simple as that. When there is no conviction. There is no Holy Ghost. He is just not there. The closer you get to Christ. The greater the conviction. All dark areas are revealed in the light.

Walk in the light. As he is in the light. As Mark has just read. The refiner. He works to purge that world. Out of the church. Out of us. It's not the most pleasant experiences. But it is God. That convicting work is God.

It's the work of God. This is why we know that he still loves us. And works amongst us. Because he comes. He convicts us of our sin. For our own good. Sin is there. And nothing else. One thing to note on the application of the blood was this.

The closer Christ got to the cross. The smaller the crowd grew. It grew smaller the closer he got to Calvary. Yet over 500 disciples in Jerusalem. But on that short road to Calvary. There was only a handful that came to the cross.

Most others. They just hung around in the shadows. Didn't they? But without the cross. If there is no cross. There is no blood. There is no application of the blood. Without the cross. And the cross must be working in the church.

And in a believer's life. Working in power of the blood. Is the same work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He lives in us as a seal of assurance. Assurance of salvation. And also as the conformer to the image of Christ.

He is the perfecter of the saints. If he dwells in you. You can be assured that you will be saved. Nothing can stop it. Nothing at all. If he has begun that work. He will perfect you. He will conform you to the image of Christ.

If you allow him. We are not perfect people here tonight. None of us is perfect. But he who lives in us. Is perfect. I said he is perfect. He is the God of heaven. He is God almighty God. And he dwells amongst his people.

We can only operate from our position in Christ. All other effort is of the flesh. Our position is founded only in his blood. Only in the blood can we be positioned. With the assurance of his continuing work.

The Church's Neglect of the Blood

We can be assured of one other thing. The devil will come to meet you head on. He will meet you head on. If that blood has been applied. He is the roaring lion in the church. He is that great fiery dragon.

That serpent of old. And we must know him. The devil has battered the church from its birth. But never in all of history. Has he gained so much ground. Why has he made so much progress in the church in this last century.

Because the blood is so neglected. Because the devil has replaced the blood with church. He works amongst the people of God. Church them to hell is his plan. Give them church. Let them have communion.

Let them be baptized. But blind their eyes to the precious blood of Christ. Get them to deny the blood. Or misapply it. And surely the whole church will go to hell in peace. No salvation without the blood.

90 of all the church today. In all the world is tears. Men that have never been born again. But the church. They call the church. The catholic church has denied the sufficiency of the blood for centuries.

She has replaced the blood with worthless sacrificial biscuit. And anemic chianti. And billions go to hell. Ignorantly denying his blood. Ignorantly they go to hell. Must make the church weep. No good pointing at catholics.

They have been blinded. They don't know their loss. This has happened to the Methodist churches. The Anglican churches. And others. Anemic churches. No church denomination is immune to the devil schemes.

Lose sight of the blood here. And it will soon be lost. All will be lost. If we forget or neglect the blood. They may not openly deny the blood. But misapplication is the same as denial. They make their own converts.

Twice the child of hell as themselves. Picked up one of those scrappy christian magazines this week. I read. That the general assembly of world evangelical fellowship. Representing 150 million christians.

From 84 nations. Met in Malaysia. For a week long conference. Their first speaker was the prime minister of Malaysia. He was a muslim. The magazine acknowledged that some delegates were upset. But commented that the presence of the prime minister.

Raised the profile of the event. And of the indigenous church. In that muslim country. Can you imagine Jesus Christ. Using Erad. As a front speaker. For his conference on the sermon on the mount. At the mount of olives.

Can you imagine him using Caesar. To draw attention to himself. It's a scandal in the church. Why do these things go on? Because the blood is no longer being preached. In the church. It's just church.

Church than the hell. These people will go to hell. Because they mean church than hell. When the church needs the devil to raise it's profile. Surely we are lost. 150 million souls. Slip into a hell. Through a door called church.

The creeds may be orthodox and sound. But without the unique blood of Jesus Christ. We have become cults. And nothing else. When that great fount of Calvary flows. There is great testimony. They all came in by the blood of the lamb.

And by the word of their testimony. We must contend for the truth. We must fight for the word of testimony. The testimony of the church is salvation. Through the blood of the lamb. And nothing else. Contending for the truth.

Is more than orthodoxy and doctrine. These things are vital to the church. But it is contending for the very life of Christ. Contending for the purity of the blood. You cannot mix this blood. You cannot add anything to it.

This is not a transfusable blood. There is no match in his blood type to other men. No other false religious leaders have access to the blood. There is only salvation in the name of Jesus Christ. And in his church.

Which he recognizes. The mystery of the church. That invisible church. That is blood bought. The blood is not an earthly blood. It has an heavenly design. You were purchased with God's own blood. The Bible says you were bought with the blood of God.

Christ's Voluntary Sacrifice and Victory

Such sacrifice. Such sacrifice. But the devil has made so much progress. In the church. Man crucified the Lord of Glory. But death was his own dwin. Neither the cross. Nor crown of thorns. Nor spikes or spears.

Put the Lord to death. Man could not take his life. If he just had that blood to flow. The only thing they did would cause that blood to flow. If they knew what they were dwin. If them wicked men knew what they were dwin.

They would have tried to put that blood back. They would have sewn up those wounds on that cross. If they known what they were dwin. But the blood of that innocent man. Still cries from the earth today to God.

Father forgive them. For they know not what they do. I lay down my life said Jesus Christ. That I may take it again. No man takes it from me. But I lay it down on myself. I have power to lay it down. And I have power to take it up.

Amen. Thank you Jesus. The devil must never be allowed. To blind us. Or rob us of the power of the blood. Which belongs to us. For Christ sake. His gifts are in the blood. What a disgrace today. To you the unregenerate.

Talk about exercising the gifts. To you the ungodly. Speaking in tongues and prophesying on a Sunday. But found to be hypocrites. On a Monday at work. Submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil.

And he will flee from you. No good trying to resist the devil. Unless we submitted ourselves unto God. The blood has secured an advantage for us over Satan. We are no longer subordinate to him. But rather superior.

The battle is the Lord's. But we must secure that victory in our own lives daily. We must give him no ground. Resist him. For he will become your God. Is it possible that the devil will be worshipped in the church of Christ?

It's happening everywhere. It's happening on a large scale. And ultimately he will be worshipped across the board. In the temple of God. As Paul writes to the Thessalonians. Whatever your thing is in life.

It could be money or anything. If it's not God. It is the devil. Mammon is the devil. Those weak areas in our lives. We must plead the blood of Christ over them. And let the fire of God. Purge those things from our lives.

Resisting the devil means to overcome sin. He wants to blind your eyes. We all struggle with the sin nature. But you have the power within you to overcome. What we lack is the desire to forsake the sin that we so love.

Let God look through your eyes. At your sin. And you see it from a different angle. Let us see sin as God sees sin. As Wesley said. Give me men that fear nothing to God. And hate nothing but sin. These things are accomplished in the church.

Loving Christ More Than Life Itself

Men and women will be once again. Born again. Into this kingdom. In service of the saints. That they love not their lives unto death. Death is not physical. It is spiritual. Death is only a change of address.

I am not going to die. I am just moving. Just changing my address. I am located here. But my real home, your real home is in heaven. When we die in the natural. We just change address. We are back where we belong.

We are in the arms of Jesus. And all because of the blood. We must know. This must be settled in our hearts. That the life of Jesus. Is indestructible. Who can destroy that life. Who can destroy that life.

That you have within you. The ungodly have come against the blood. Time and time again. But still it flows. Still it moves through the church. There is not a demon in hell tonight. That can swim through that blood.

When the blood is mentioned. They begin to convulse. The devil hates that blood. With perfect hatred. And the blood tonight. Is still the answer to everything. And what we call blood. Is just plasma. Plasma carries particles.

Called red and white corpuscles. Around the body. Approximately every 50 seconds. Red corpuscles. Give the blood its color. What is true in the natural. Is true in the spiritual. The blood processes. And conveys.

What you eat. From your digestive system. To the rest of your body. To your vital organs. That is the work of the blood. You are what you eat. The vital elements of life. Is always contained. In the blood.

Spiritual Food and the Word of God

Every one of us here tonight. Is a product of teaching. You are a product of the spiritual food. You have received from your teachers. Our spiritual food comes to us. Through our eyes and through our ears.

What we see and what we hear. Is our food. You are what you eat. Spiritually. Reading the word of God daily. Is an absolute must. It is the pure food of God. If you don't eat food. You know that ultimately you will starve to death.

Why deny ourselves. Spiritual food. The word of God. The same is true of spiritual food. Without the reading of the word. Or the hearing of the word. We will surely die. You may not lose weight. By not reading your bible.

But you will lose power. To overcome that great enemy. All the great men throughout church history. Are bible preaching. And reading men. The Wesley's, Whitfield's, Finney's. Them men were known for bible preaching.

They preached nothing else. But the word of God. What else comes to our eyes. And our ears. If we know more about Richard and Judy. Than James and John. Then you are on the wrong diet. Why do truly born again believers.

Fall for the false teaching. Of today. It's because there is no offense. To that old nature. These con men. On that religious channel. They do not offend the flesh. In fact. They dress up the flesh. And parade it as Christ.

But it is not Christ. It is another Christ. It is a counterfeit. But when that cross is tested with fire. It will be utterly consumed. If it is not Christ. It will be burned up. If all you have known for food.

Is candy floss. Then you won't know what a steak. Tastes like. And if you manage to get a steak on a plate. After candy floss. It may even frighten you to death. Who really wants to hear. About the convicting work of the Holy Spirit.

Who wants to hear. That the church today is in rebellion. Who wants to hear that God is angry. With the wicked everyday. Not just the wicked out there. The wicked in the church. God is still angry with them.

Everyday. It is easy to say. God wants you rich. God wants you healthy. But is this true. God wants you as a sacrifice. He wants you as a vessel. He wants you as an instrument. From which he can proclaim.

His son. He can display his son. In your life. All those other things are unimportant. He is only concerned with one thing. And that is Christ in his church. If we eat the right foods. We become stronger and healthier.

It also removes waste. From the body. The blood removes harmful toxins. And excremental material. That would otherwise contaminate the body. Causing disease. It says in 1 John. But if we walk in the light.

As he is in the light. We have fellowship. One with another. And the blood of Jesus Christ his son. Cleanses us from all sin. Amen. The blood of Jesus continually flows through the body. Purging us of the sin of flesh.

And carnality. 90 of all diseases. Is through poor elimination of waste. There must be a continual. Elimination of that sin nature. Within the church. It has to be dealt with. On a continuous basis.

We have no time to sit and rest. And stand about. Walking in the shadows of that cross. We must boldly approach his throne. But only covered. With the blood of the lamb. If we rest on our laurels. Then the victory is lost.

They that love not their lives. Unto death. That is what is said about their men. Where are those men today in the church? Those that love not their lives. Unto death. Where are they? Is he talking about another era?

He is talking about the church. The blood bought church. Those that know and apply that blood. Regularly. Daily. Those that know the power. Is in the blood of Jesus. The big test is always. Whether we love God.

Or whether we love the world. Will you die for him? Is the question. Are you willing to die. For Christ sake. Not a physical death. But are you willing to lay down your life. Not asking you anything else.

That he never asked someone himself. In those scriptures. Are we willing to lay down. This life for Christ. Human waste. Is highly septic. A thousand times more. Contaminated than animal waste. Without proper elimination.

The body. Will soon die. Willful sin is a disease. It restricts the flow of the blood. It says in Hebrews. How shall we escape. If we neglect so great salvation. The answer. Is always in the blood. We are responsible for what we put into our bodies.

Spiritual Maturity and the Pure Gospel

The choice of food. In this nation is very good. The same goes for our spiritual diet. We have more than enough. Bibles, books, tapes, videos. More than enough. Spiritual food. Yes it is a spiritual hunger.

Because we choose the wrong food. Most of the professing. Born again church today. Lives on milk. It will keep you alive. But it won't make you strong. When you have a baby and you feed it milk. You know that if you keep it there.

Till it is to the age of 10 years old. Or 15 or 20. You are going to end up with a sickly mess. It is going to be a child. It still has life. But it is not going to be any strength. It is the same for the church.

If we are continually living on milk. There is no strength in our bodies. No strength to stand. Against the enemy. There are no calories. In the food of God. No cholesterol. No sweeteners. No colorings.

No additives. Nothing at all. Just pure godliness and food. Yet men have added to the word of God. At their own peril. Throughout the ages. They have tried to sweeten the gospel. In this center. Removing its offense.

Thus making it impotent. The reason no one is being saved. Is because the gospel is not being preached. They have tried to color the church. To attract the world. But soon we have learned. That the world will only stay in a worldly church.

Where there is darkness. People from the world. Don't make a church dark. They come to that church. Because it is dark. It is already worldly. No attraction for them. Cannot dress the church up. The church must be the church.

Christ's Body, Spiritual Nourishment, and the Blood

In this day and age. The blood distributes the proper food. In the correct quantity. To every living cell. All the minerals and vitamins. Are mixed and distributed. As needed. It says that the Jews therefore.

Strove amongst themselves. Saying how can this man. Give us his flesh to eat. John chapter 6. The mystery of Christ. He gives food. In due season. To every one of his cells. No one should leave the house of God.

With an empty belly. It is not God's purpose. His purpose is always to fill you. With that food. To edify you. He never comes with a stick. To beat the church up. He comes with a finger. To point to the sin problem.

But he always comes to edify. If he comes with conviction of sin. In one hand. He comes with the blood in the other hand. To cleanse you of that sin. Give him thanks. For such a provision. If we leave you empty tonight.

There is something wrong. There is something wrong. In the word of God. The goodness of life is always in the blood. The spirit and the blood. They work as one. In 1 John 5 and 8. That controversial passage of scripture.

And there are three that bear witness. In the earth. The spirit and the water. And the blood. And these three agree in one. The spirit and the blood are the same thing. If the blood is flowing through the body.

There will always be a feeding. And a cleansing of that body. It cannot be otherwise. If there is no strengthening of those bones. And no cleansing of sin. Then the blood is surely anemic. The blood must be anemic.

The blood must be anemic in that body. The blood also. Regulates body temperature. Now the latest years. They were condemned for being lukewarm. But I wonder. What is the spiritual temperature here tonight?

Are we hot? Or are we cold? The blood also fights against viruses and germs. When a part of the body is broken or cut. There is a risk. That a germ will enter that body. And cause disease. So when the body is broken.

Blood rushes to the affected area. And begins to fight. Against the foreign invasion. It will congeal and clot. Around the breach. Forming a new and stronger defense. You know that scar tissue. Is the hardest to break.
