The Danger of a False Profession in the Church

There are some mountain roads that are death traps if you're not familiar with the terrain. There are some sections in certain cities that are so dangerous the police won't even go in there. But the most dangerous place on earth Oddly enough can be sitting in a pew at church on Sunday.

You think you're safe in there. But are completely unaware of your great danger of dying in your sins. Outside of Christ there are multitudes of Baptized individuals who sit in church Sunday after Sunday who are victims of modern evangelism.

They were told a different gospel than the gospel of the Son of God found in my Bible some unskilled Christian worker or some unsaved Evangelist told them that if they did what they told them to do then they were saved.

Religious Transactions and the Absence of True Conversion

Through ignorance of the real gospel. They merely did what the minister asked them to do and they were told they were now Christians. But the trouble is God didn't know anything about their religious transaction between them and that preacher.

And they are still strangers to Christ Jesus. They were led Into a false faith, which is the most dangerous place to be on earth because you are immediately hordened to the gospel and unable to come to Christ savingly for Forgiveness of sin because you no longer see your need.

You think you already did that if someone comes along and tries to witness to you or hand you a gospel. Track, you're quick to inform them. I already did that. I repeat the most dangerous place to be in the world is resting in a false faith upon a empty religious profession.

Vance Havner said I could have led a few more folks to the Lord had they not already Joined the church and it's true friends. Salvation occurs by faith wrought by an Omnipotent power which the eternal spirit of the Lord Jesus must work in the heart.

Regeneration, the New Birth, and Saving Faith

Turning the stony heart into a heart of flesh through the supernatural act of regeneration. Which is the new birth? Eternity hangs in the balance between a false faith and a saving faith. Allow me to explain.

The Chair Illustration and Misplaced Trust

An Evangelist was boasting to me one time how he just led another person to Jesus. He said he leads multitudes to Jesus all the time using this following tactic. It's called the chair illustration. A woman was sitting on a chair as he witnessed to her.

He told her Jesus loves you and he wants to save you. But you must place your trust in him to be saved and go to heaven. All you have to do to be saved is to place your trust in him by faith. You see that chair you were sitting on.

Do you believe it can support you? Sure, you do or you wouldn't be sitting on it. Faith is like trusting in that chair. All you have to do is to trust Jesus to save you just like you trust that chair to support you.

That's all there is to it. And this evangelist who is a butcher of souls Got himself another notch on his belt. He can brag about and made another victim of false faith. That kind of faith is the faith of an atheist because an atheist Trusts a chair to support him, but it's not saving faith in Christ Jesus.

Saving Faith as God’s Work and the Call to Repentance

If you have saving faith friend, it's because God gave it to you. A false faith Will only seal your fate in hell. You'll never feel your need of a savior from sin because someone told you you already did that.

The most dangerous place to be on earth is not in the hood and a tough part of town. But in a false faith that was given you by a man who didn't know what he was talking about. The gospel is for the hungry the weary and the thirsty.

Jesus declared if any man thirst let him come on to me and drink. He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. A Saving faith will produce heartfelt repentance which will result in a genuine Salvation that glorifies God and saves the sinner from eternal damnation of hell.

Security in Union with Christ

The most dangerous place to be on earth is resting in an empty religious profession on a false foundation of coronal security. The safest place on earth is to be savingly united to a living Lord. But being born from above and washed in the blood.
