The Manifestation of the Holy Spirit in Truth and Service

Will you please turn to 2nd Corinthians, Chapter 4. 2nd Corinthians, Chapter 4, Verse 2. 2nd Corinthians, Chapter 4, Verse 2. But we have rejected the hidden things of shame, not walking in deceit, nor falsifying the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth, commanding ourselves to every conscience of man before God.

2nd Corinthians, Chapter 12, Verse 7. 1st Corinthians, Chapter 12, Verse 7. But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit. Let's have a word of prayer. Dear Lord, we want to thank Thee for gathering us together here this morning.

We know that we are gathered together unto Thy Name. Where Thy Name is, there is Thy presence. We are standing on holy ground. We want to remove our shoes and bow down before Thee. And we will ask Thee, Lord, what has Thou to say to us?

Speak, Thy servants here. O how we praise and thank Thee that even in these last days, late hour, Thou does still desire to speak to Thy people. We pray that Thou will give us a hearing heart, that Thy word may really fall into good ground and bear fruit unto Thyself.

Our Lord, our heart's desire is that Thou may be glorified in the midst of Thy people. And we want to give Thee all the glory in the Name of our dear Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. We thank God for gathering us together again this year.

Every time God's people are privileged to meet together, I feel most grateful to God. We do not know how many more times there will be that we can gather in this way. Every time He gathers us, He wants to bless us.

Knowing God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit

Some of you who have been with us during the past two years, we know that two years ago, the theme of our conference is knowing God. That we may know God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

And last year, our theme was knowing Christ. Knowing His death, His resurrection, and His ascension. And this time, our theme is knowing the Holy Spirit. Now, dear brothers and sisters, when we mention God the Father, it seems that we are able to understand Him in a limited way.

Because we have our earthly fathers. And by knowing our earthly fathers, we come into a small understanding of our Heavenly Father. And when we mention knowing the Lord Jesus, it seems that there is something that we can relate to.

Because our Lord Jesus came into this world to be a man. He is in every way the same as we are. Even though He is in every way different from us. And yet we find there is a kind of relationship. But when we come to the Holy Spirit, it seems that we have nothing to base upon.

We have no image that we can look to. And that is the reason why the Holy Spirit is so much misunderstood. And our prayer and our desire is that by the grace of God, this time the Lord will reveal the Holy Spirit to us.

That we may know Him in a living way. Now our two brothers have already shared with us fully on the Holy Spirit. Our dear brother Lance shared with us on the person of the Holy Spirit. I feel that this is the most important thing that we need to understand.

The Holy Spirit is not a thing. The Holy Spirit is not just an influence. The Holy Spirit is a person. Not just any person. He is the divine person. He is God Himself. I think this is so important to us.

And our brother Christian has shared with us on the ministry of the Holy Spirit. All the works of God are entrusted to the Holy Spirit. And thank God for our brothers. Thank God for the words that have been released.

What the Manifestation of the Holy Spirit Means

Now my part is on the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Now the word manifestation it means to make something clear. To make something visible. To make something known. It is to disclose and to display.

In other words, what is being hidden is now being visible. What is unknown is made known. What is dim is now being very clear. So the manifestation of the Holy Spirit simply means this. The Holy Spirit is a spirit.

We cannot see Him. He is invisible. But there is a way that He will make Himself visible to us. The Holy Spirit is a great unknown. But thank God the Holy Spirit has a way to make Himself known to us.

Now this word manifestation. In the New Testament it is only used twice. That is in the original. And only used in these two verses that we have read. In 2 Corinthians 4 .2 Now it is said here. But we have rejected the hidden things, not walking in deceit, nor falsifying the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth, commanding ourselves to every conscience of man before God.

It is said the manifestation of the truth. Truth is reality. Truth is not just a teaching. Truth is not just a doctrine. Truth is that ultimate reality. It is something that is real, that is living. Now we know that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth.

He comes to manifest that truth in a living way. So the manifestation of truth is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit Himself. Because He is the one that makes truth living, real, operative in our lives.

When the Holy Spirit shall come, He shall lead us into all truth. It is more than He is trying to make us understand these truths. It is more than He is trying to make us understand these truths. He is to lead us into these truths.

So that these truths may become real, living, experienced in our life. They are manifested. They are manifested in lives. That in our lives, these truths may be manifested. We may have a clear and pure conscience.

The Holy Spirit’s Manifestation in Character and Gifts

The mentioning of the word manifestation. Manifest Himself. There you will find He touches this matter of inner character. This is a matter of life. The Holy Spirit manifests Himself in bringing life into us.

In changing our life. Transforming us and conforming us to the image of Christ. This is one manifestation of the Holy Spirit. And then you find in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 7. He said the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in giving gifts to man.

So here you find another mentioning of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. How He manifests His power by giving gifts to man. And through these gifts you find how the body of Christ may be built up.

So in this aspect of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The emphasis is more on power. It is more on gifts. While the other manifestation. You find the emphasis is more on the person and on life. One is for service.

The other is for living. Now brothers and sisters. We find that the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in these two different aspects. Our two brothers had already mentioned these two aspects. So all I will do is to try to re-emphasize them.

John’s Emphasis on Spiritual Life

We find that this is the difference between the Gospel according to John and the writings of Luke. We also find that this is the difference between the Gospel according to John and the writings of Luke.

The Gospel according to John and the writings of Luke has different emphasis on the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The Gospel according to John and the writings of Luke has different emphasis on the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

John is a person who always goes back to the very beginning. And when you go back to the very beginning. In the beginning was the Word. In the beginning God. So in the writings of John. He always leads us back to the very beginning.

To God Himself. To the person of our God. And in the writings of John. You find He is not concerned with outward appearance. He is not concerned with outward form and organization. He is not concerned with outward form and organization.

There is nothing technical in His writing. All His writing is centered upon life. Upon something that is spiritual. That is the writing of John. Therefore when you come to this matter of... You find our Lord Jesus mentioned the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Promises Another Comforter

During that last night before His betrayal. As He gathered with His disciples. Even though His disciples did not really understand what was going to happen. But when our Lord Jesus told them that He was going.

Of course they feel very sorrowful. And in order to comfort these disciples. And you find in John chapter 14. Our Lord Jesus said now when I go. I will ask of the Father. To give you another comforter.

He shall be with you. And He shall be in you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Now brothers and sisters. Our Lord Jesus Himself is the comforter to the disciples. Because He was alongside with them.

And there He was helping them all the time. But now He was leaving. And His disciples felt they were left as orphans. But the Lord said no. I promise you. I will ask of the Father. And send another comforter to you.

Now the another is another of the same kind. It is not another of a different kind. In other words. Another comforter is the same as the first comforter. Exactly the same. The only difference is. The first comforter our Lord Jesus.

He was leaving. He was with them for three years and so. And He always took care of them. He always taught them. But now He was leaving. Because He was at that time in flesh. In the flesh. And we remember that our Lord.

The Lord. The Word became flesh. And tabernacle among man. Full of grace and truth. And in that physical body. He declared the Father to us. And in the same body. He accomplished the work of redemption on the cross.

But as long as He was in that body. He was restricted by the physical body. When He sent the disciples out. He was not with them. So you find that all that our Lord could do. Was to be with them as much as possible.

But one day. He will be leaving. But the another comforter. That He promised to send to the disciples. He is exactly the same as our Lord Jesus. Nothing more. Nothing less. And yet there is a difference.

Because He is spirit. He is not limited by time and space. So He is able to come into us. And He is able to be with us all the time. Wherever we go. He goes. We can never leave Him behind. Now the word comforter.

The Holy Spirit as Advocate for Christ

What is meant by that word comforter? I think the best explanation of that word. Probably is like this. The comforter in the old English is the advocate. Now when we think of an advocate. We think of a lawyer today.

We find that a lawyer when we have a case. Then he will come and represent us. And he will plead our cause. But in the old days. An advocate is a person. Who will do four things. Number one. He will represent the client.

Number two. He will plead the client's cause. Number three. He will protect the name of his client. And number four. He will manage the affairs of the client. He is like a manager. Will manage everything of his client.

So when our Lord said I will send you another comforter. Now what does he mean? Now who is his client? Whom will he represent? Now often times when we think of the comforter. The Holy Spirit. We think that we are his client.

But brothers and sisters. The client of this comforter is the first comforter. In other words. His client is none but our Lord Jesus himself. So the comforter in us represents our Lord Jesus. So the comforter in us represents our Lord Jesus.

He will plead the cause of Christ. Now isn't it very true? You find the Holy Spirit in you is not pleading your cause. He is often on the other side. He is pleading the cause of Christ. And he is in us to protect the name of our Lord Jesus.

And he is to manage all the affairs of our Lord. This is the another comforter. So brothers and sisters. We find that he is a divine person. He is one with Christ. As the Father and the Son are one. So the Holy Spirit and the Son are one.

Even though our Lord Jesus has ascended up to high. And he is no longer with us in a physical sense. But in a spiritual sense he is still with us. Now how? By the Holy Spirit. As our brother already said.

When the Holy Spirit dwells in us. God dwells in us. The Son dwells in us. All that is of God dwells in us. Now brothers and sisters. When our Lord was on earth. He had a difficulty with his disciples.

The Disciples’ Misunderstanding and the Need for Spiritual Revelation

Because our Lord is so heavenly. And his disciples are so earthly. Our Lord is so spiritual. And the disciples are so carnal. Our Lord is so other worldly. And the disciples belong to the world. Even though they believe in the Lord Jesus.

Yet their mind is still being carnal. So when you read the four gospels. You find that our Lord was frustrated. Whenever he talked about something. The disciples understand it in another way. For instance when he said beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

And immediately the disciples said. Well we forgot to bring the bread. But the Lord said I'm not talking about this thing. Do you remember how with five loaves. And two. Five fishes. Two fishes. Feed five thousand people.

The bread is no problem. And then the disciples realized. It is about the teaching. Of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. And even during that last night. Before his betrayal. And you'll find Philip can still ask.

Lord show us the father. And we are satisfied. You know how frustrated is our Lord. The Lord said I'm with you all these times. And you still ask to see the father. Don't you know that if you see me. You see the father.

But they don't understand. Why? Because they don't have the Holy Spirit. Only the Holy Spirit. Can reveal spiritual things to us. Do not think that with our natural ability. We are able. To grasp. Spiritual things.

No. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal. The things spiritual. So our Lord Jesus said. I will ask the father. To give you another comforter. And in that day. You will know. In that day you will know. That I'm in the father.

The father is in me. I am in you. And you are in me. Now in that day. You will understand. Before that day. You won't be able to understand. But when that day comes. Then you will understand things spiritual.

Things that are real. Eternal. How can the father be in the son? The son in the father. How can the son be in us? And we are in him. This inness. That understanding of this inness. Only when the Holy Spirit comes.

So the Lord Jesus said. In that day you will understand. Now brothers and sisters. Which is that day? There are different opinions about it. But I can only share with what I understand. Our brother Lance mentioned last night.

The Resurrection Gift of the Holy Spirit

On the day of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. In that very night. The disciples were in that room. With the door shut. And then suddenly our Lord appeared to them. And when our Lord appeared to them.

In John chapter 20. He said our Lord Jesus breathed. Into them. And said receive ye the Holy Spirit. Now brothers and sisters. You remember when God created man. How he breathed into the nostril of man.

And man became a living soul. And here you find our Lord Jesus breathed. Into these disciples. And said receive ye the Holy Spirit. Now can it be only symbolic? It doesn't look like it. John deals with reality.

He is not just dealing with symbolism. So personally I believe. That the promise of the Son. Concerning the Holy Spirit. Is fulfilled. On the day of his resurrection. Because our Lord Jesus had already.

Accomplished the work of redemption. So the Holy Spirit is given. Now without. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit. How can the hundred and twenty. Pray with one accord. For ten days. Where came this understanding of Peter.

That there should be another. Apostle being appointed. So brothers and sisters. The promise of the Holy Spirit. As a person. Divine person. Is given us by the Son. And that promise. Is fulfilled. On the day of his resurrection.

And therefore you'll find. Understanding. Is being given. Now this is one aspect. Of the Holy Spirit. Concerning. Him as a divine person. And he dwells in us. And he teaches us. In all things. And then when you come to.

The Spirit’s Power for Witness and Service

The writings of Luke. You'll find that before the ascension. Of our Lord Jesus. And in Luke chapter 24. The Lord said. Wait. In Jerusalem. Until you receive the promise of the Father. That is. You will be closed.

With the power. From on high. And then you go to Acts chapter 1. Before the ascension of our Lord Jesus. He said the same thing to the disciples. Wait in Jerusalem. Until you receive the promise of the Father.

And the. Holy Spirit. Will be poured out. Upon you. And then. You will be my witness. And you will preach. The gospel. From Jerusalem. To Judea. Samaria. To the end of the world. So brothers and sisters.

Do you notice here. The Holy Spirit here. Is promised. By the Father. And that promise. Is concerning the power. Of the Holy Spirit. When that power comes. They will be closed. With the power. From on high.

This is not in them. This will be upon them. So you see the difference here. And this power. Is for service. It is for the sake of work. And the fulfillment. Is on the day of Pentecost. So brothers and sisters.

You can see. These two aspects. Of the Holy Spirit. On the one hand. You find the Holy Spirit. Is a divine person. And he is to dwell in us. And he is there. For life. That we may be. Like our Lord Jesus.

And this will be our testimony. Yet on the other hand. You find the Holy Spirit. Is a power. Is an impersonal power. Impersonal. Not personal. It is power. From on high. And it is to be upon. To be closed with.

And it is for the sake. Of witnessing and power. Now even though there are these two different approaches. And different aspects. Of the Holy Spirit. And yet it is the one Spirit. Now brothers and sisters.

Obedience to the Divine Person of the Spirit

Another thing you may notice. What should be our attitude. Toward the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the divine person. And how should we respond. To this divine person. In Acts chapter 5 verse 32. God will give the Holy Spirit.

To those who obey him. Not because he is the divine person. Brothers and sisters. Do you know that the Holy Spirit. Who dwells in you is God. That he is the divine person. And to that divine person. There is only one thing you can do.

To obey him. So we need to obey the Holy Spirit. Do everything that he commands us. Do not try to neglect him. Do not try to quench him. Do not try to hurt him. Do not try to grieve him. Our only, only way.

To respond to the Holy Spirit. Is to obey. Because we are dealing with the divine person. We are dealing with God himself. Now how about the power. The power is also the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

And yet that is power. Not the person. The power comes from that person. But the power itself is impersonal. So you come to 1 Corinthians. Chapter 14. Verse 32. You find that the spirit of the prophet.

Obeys the prophet. In other words. The spirit of the prophet is the power of the Holy Spirit. Because it is a power given. So the prophet has to control that power. The prophet cannot just be moved by that power.

Without any control. The prophet has to use that power wisely. So you find in these two aspects of the Holy Spirit. These two manifestations. We have to be very careful. Very careful about it. Now unfortunately.

The Two Imbalanced Approaches to the Holy Spirit

You find in Christianity. There are two schools. Concerning this matter. Of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. One school they emphasize. Totally on that inward aspect. They emphasize this matter of holiness.

They emphasize this matter of higher Christian life. They emphasize how we need to obey the Holy Spirit. Absolute surrender. Abandonment to the Holy Spirit. So that he will transform our life. That we may grow spiritually.

That is one school you find in Christianity. The so called Catholic teaching is in that school. And then you find there is another school. The emphasis is on the power. What we need is power. And therefore you find the Pentecostal.

The charismatic. That is their emphasis. And because you begin to separate these two aspects. These two are distinguishable. But cannot be separated. We need to distinguish them. So that we need. We will know how to deal with the Holy Spirit.

But they cannot be separated. Because it is one spirit. The Holy Spirit is one spirit. So when you separate these two things. And even you find that these two schools seem to argue with one another. And the result is.

Those who emphasize the person of the Holy Spirit. And those who learn to surrender completely to that divine person. Indeed you find their spiritual life grow. There is such a demonstration of the life of Christ in these people.

But unfortunately. You find many of them have that deeper life with the Lord. And yet they are so going inward. That there is less expression. You find that there is lack of power. What they have within them have no channel to be expressed.

And yet on the other hand. You find that those who emphasize the power. There is great demonstration of gifts. And there seems to be great power. But unfortunately. Their lives still remain as babes. Their mind is a babish.

You do not see the corresponding life in them. And that is the tragedy today. What we need by the grace of God. Is to see a balance and unified understanding. On the one hand. We need to know the Holy Spirit himself.

Without knowing the Holy Spirit himself. Our spiritual life will never grow. The more you obey him. The more the life of Christ increases in you. And on the other hand. We need to know the power of the Holy Spirit.

We know how to use the gifts he gave to us. For the building up of the body of Christ. So brothers and sisters. My burden is to talk about these manifestations. So this morning. I would like to go first.

The Holy Spirit’s Work of Grace and Transformation

On the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. In grace. How knowing him. As a person. Let us turn to. Galatians. Galatians chapter 5. Verse 22 and 23. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace. Long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity, meekness, self-conceit.

These things there is no law. Second Corinthians chapter 3. Verse 18. But we all looking on the glory of the Lord. With unveiled face. Are transformed according to the same image. From the image of the Spirit.

From glory to glory. Even as by the Lord the Spirit. Now brothers and sisters. We remember when the Apostle Paul. Blessed the church in Corinth. And in second Corinthians chapter 13. Verse 14. He said.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus. And the love of God. And the communion of the Holy Spirit. Be with you. Here you find the Triune God. We find the love of God. We find the grace of our Lord Jesus. Now how do we know.

The love of God. How do we experience. The grace of the Lord Jesus. All these are through the communion. Of the Holy Spirit. Now without the work of the Holy Spirit. The love of God is always there. But the love of God and we.

Have no relationship. No matter how love he is. We are not able to enjoy that love. The grace of our Lord Jesus is tremendous. And it is infinite. And yet. Without the Holy Spirit. We cannot even taste a little bit.

Of the grace of our Lord Jesus. What God has planned. What the Son has accomplished. Needs the Holy Spirit to communicate to us. The Holy Spirit is the great communicator. And you find that a whole spiritual life.

The Spirit’s Conviction of Sin and New Birth

Is involved with the Holy Spirit. Now we would like to approach this from experience. Now for instance. Before we believe in the Lord Jesus. We have no real sense of sin. We have no real understanding of righteousness.

We really do not know what judgment is. Even though we all felt that we were not perfect. And yet we did not really have a sense. Of sin. Now I remember. Before I believe in the Lord Jesus. I was raised in a Christian family.

And educated in Christian schools. I knew. About the Bible from my childhood. Now mentally I know that all have sinned. And come short of the glory of God. But I really do not know what sin is. I always felt that I was alright.

I was not perfect. But I was okay. And I even thought that I did not know. That I did not need the Lord Jesus. He came to save the sinners. And I am not a sinner. I have some faults. But everybody has.

And so I do not feel the need of a savior. Even though I have heard all these teachings. From my childhood. But I had no sense of the sinfulness of sin. Not until. When I am fourteen. Began to work in me.

Nobody pointed his finger at me. And yet. The Holy Spirit. Convicted me. Of my sin. I felt that from. The top of my head. To the bottom of my feet. Nothing. Is good. Even though at that time. I was. Fourteen.

Fifteen. And yet sometimes. When I was alone. I wept over my sin. I wept over my sin. I began to realize. I need a savior. I know Jesus is a savior of the world. I began to seek him. But somehow he evaded me.

He evaded me. For a whole year. I sought after him. I wanted to be saved. But I wasn't saved. But one day. The Lord. Opened my understanding. I don't know how. I just believe. That he is the Christ. The son of the living God.

Now who. Does this work in me. Nobody. But the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit. Convict us of sin. Of righteousness. Of judgment. That is the beginning. Of our Christian life. And of course. We know from John.

Chapter three. He that is born of the spirit. His spirit. It is the Holy Spirit. Who begets us. But even though we are being begotten. By the Holy Spirit. We do not see him. We do not know him. And we do not even know he is there.

Learning to Recognize the Indwelling Spirit

Now how do we know the Holy Spirit. How do you know that the Holy Spirit dwells in you. How does he make himself known to you. Now I believe brothers and sisters. We all have some spiritual experiences.

I love this story. Ying against the tide. I don't know if the young people here have read that book. But I think it is a very very good illustration. How do we know the Holy Spirit as a divine person.

How does the Holy Spirit reveals himself to you. How does he make his presence known to you. Now in that book. There is a story there. There was a man. An electrician. Now he was the only electrician at that time.

On Mount Kulin. Mount Kulin. Mount Kulin. And he was almost illiterate. Now it happened that our dear brother Watchman Lee. He was physically weak. So he went to that Kulin mountain to recuperate. And he arranged that he would have meals with that electrician.

So they have a chance to converse with one another. And that brother, that man got saved. Now I know that brother. And then of course people who went to that Kulin mountain is for the summer. So in the winter people just left.

And he still lived there. But in the winter it was very cold. And this brother he had the habit of drinking wine. And every time he drank he got drunk. So when the winter came. Now it was so cold. So he asked his wife to warm up the wine.

And the Chinese like to warm up people. And so the wife warmed up the wine. And they put the wine on the table with the supper. And this brother said now let us pray. So he started to pray. But in the midst of his prayer he suddenly stopped.

He looked up to his wife. And said can Christian drink? Now his wife is totally illiterate. Of course he doesn't know. So the husband said take the Bible. So the Bible was brought to him. Now he cannot find in the Bible at that moment about this matter of drinking wine.

Fortunately he didn't find that place. He didn't find the so called Timothy wine. And so he of course couldn't find it. So the wife said the wine is getting cold. Why don't you drink it? And next summer when Mr. Ni came you can ask him.

So he said alright let us pray. And he started to pray. But he couldn't finish it. He said well can a Christian drink? So after several times he gave up. Now the next summer brother Ni went to the mountain.

So he asked him the question. Can a Christian drink? Now brother Ni said why do you ask that question? Ah he said that's what happened. So brother Ni said now why did you not drink? Now he said my boss, my boss within me wouldn't allow me.

He doesn't even know the name of the Holy Spirit. But he realized that is a resident boss within him. And that resident boss will not allow him to do it. And thank God he obeyed. Ah he is a dear brother in the Lord.

Now brothers and sisters. How do we know the Holy Spirit? How do we know him as the Spirit the Holy? By these experiences. You know when you first believe in the Lord Jesus. Brothers and sisters. The Holy Spirit dwells in each one of us.

And he is there as the anointing to teach us in all things. In small things, in big things. That we may obey him and abide in Christ. But unfortunately brothers and sisters. Many God's people ignore him.

He is there. He is speaking. He is manifesting himself. He is dealing with you. He is telling you that he is there. And he is different. He is holy. And what you are doing is unholy. It is something that displeases God.

And he is trying to teach us and to lead us. But we totally ignore him. Dear brothers and sisters. Especially when you first believe in the Lord Jesus. You need to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit within you.

A still small voice. We need to listen to him. Old habits. Old sins. Need to be dealt with. He is purifying us. He is glorifying Christ in us. But do we obey? If we do not obey in small things. How can we obey in great things?

It is our daily life. Brothers and sisters. As we walk on this earth. The Holy Spirit teaches us all the time. Are you conscious that he is there? Are you careful because he is there? If such an honorable person is there.

How careful must you walk? So this is the way that we come to know the Holy Spirit. He will deal with the flesh in us. He will deal with the world in us. He will deal with the self life in us. Self life.

He will bring Christ into us. That daily we may be transformed. And conform to the image of God's beloved Son. So this is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. May he manifest. The life of Christ in each one of us.

More and more. Let us pray. Dear Lord we want to thank thee. For thy promise. We thank thee because that promise has already been fulfilled. We thank thee for the indwelled Holy Spirit. Lord do teach us how to obey him.

How to be sensitive to his voice. Enable us not to quench him. Not to grieve him. But to obey him. Oh we commit ourselves to the Holy Spirit. May the Holy Spirit have freedom in working Christ into us.
