Ministry to the Poor and the Slower Work of the Gospel

If you were a civicus, well, they are the ones who are supposed to be in the end. Let's take a look at preaching the gospel to the poor. Now, this one, this way of preaching the gospel is going to be a little slower than any other ministry.

The Cost of Sacrificial Ministry

A little slower. So for all of you who want to quickly build a church and get 5 ,000 in two years, this is not for you. It may be alright that God wants you to do that job, but this is not for you. Ministry to the poor is going to cost you life and your life.

And ministry to the poor is worth doing. And it's worth ministering to one man with the love of Jesus whether he believes or not. You see, I'm not going to minister so that you can say I got 5 million converts.

Jesus' Love for One Person

You go to minister because the heart of Jesus is to die for one man whether he believes or not. Jesus died so that we should believe. So that we could come into his kingdom and be forgiven and be healed and be set free.

But he didn't wait until we said yes, Lord. Until he got our son, Fletch Farm. He didn't wait until we said I will repent, Lord. He died anyway. That's not for you, but it has to be one on one on one on one.

Building Trust Through Patient, Personal Care

They can always take over just after your soul. They get their minds and you get out. She thought they were just after her soul. You don't have to make your count anyway. You don't speak our language.

You don't understand our Christians. And the reason it's going to take longer than it should. It's going to be so difficult. It's going to be so difficult. It's going to be so difficult. Precious foundations that will last long and long after.

Long after this decade's indoctrination is coming along. Those people will be standing. Because they were reached by someone who understood what they felt like. Who will never do a crime. Who shared the rose gold with them when they were hungry.

Serving the Vulnerable Without Immediate Results

Who visited them when they were in prison. Who visited them when they were impossible. Who took the shirts off their back and gave it to them. And the gospel preaching. It takes a long time. A long time.

But the results that come from it. The mission that was set. Is it completely unfair this ministry? Completely unfair. You may spend your life ministering to one man and you may never see him come to the Lord.

The Lasting Fruit of Wasting Your Life on One Person

The fact that you have done that. Will touch millions watching. Be sure they are watching. Be sure they are watching. And I dare to say that millions will come to the Lord. Because you wasted your life on one poor man.

God has chosen the lowly things of the world. To nullify the things that are. God has chosen the despised things. A few months ago we were in a different tomb. And we were in Chinese and Arabic. I don't know if you have any idea.

But he very preciously came. He was shed. Without pulling any punches. We sang in Mandarin. And he joined in. We sang worship songs. And the Holy Spirit was there. Doing what they do across the drive.

And here were three men. Who certainly were not involved at the time. Singing praises to the Lord. Preaching the gospel to them. To nullify. The things that are false.
