So Jesus tells the disciples, look at verse 15 again, he tells him,
00:06
Lazarus is dead. And he says, I'm glad for your sakes, that I was not there, that you may believe.
00:16
Nevertheless, let us go to him. This is just a thought that came into my mind.
00:21
You know, did this, did the disciples believe? He says, I'm doing this so that you may believe.
00:27
He's talking to his disciples who already believed in him, right? Well, you know, sometimes you can believe, but you need to believe more.
00:39
You know, some tell, I trust the Lord. How much do you trust the Lord? God is going to bring things into your life so that your trust, which might be like this, turns into this, or from here to here.
00:50
I think that's what the Lord is doing. And I love this response.
00:55
Verse 16, then Thomas, who is called the twin, he said to his fellow disciples, let us also go that we may die with him.
01:07
You know, this shows great devotion on the part of Thomas. When most people, if you know the apostle
01:14
Thomas, you know him probably for one thing. What's that? Yeah. Everybody, when they talk about Thomas, it's always doubting
01:22
Thomas. Don't be a doubting Thomas. Most of you have heard that. Hey, Thomas gets a bad rap.
01:28
You know, all the disciples doubted. When Jesus was crucified, before they saw him, they all doubted.
01:38
Yeah, Thomas doubted because he didn't see the Lord. Before they saw him, they all did. Thomas, this is not, it's not fair to call him doubting
01:46
Thomas, okay? Because here he actually shows great commitment.
01:51
He says, I am willing to die for my
01:57
Lord. Can you say that? Say, well, I believe. I don't know if I believe that much.
