Well, good morning. Hey Stacy, how are you? We have a visitor with us. John Brodden, I would. Uh, we'd like our visitor to open us up with a word of prayer.
We thank you so much for this day Lord, we thank you for the opportunity that we have to gather together in your name. Just worship. You know you with with the body. We thank you for this brother and the preparation that he does.
Just just teach your word Lord and just open it up and expand it. So we just ask that you be with us today to open our minds open our eyes and to see the truth.
All right, so you'll open up Your Bible to revelation there. I stopped at the end for a reason before we we didn't finish 19. And it's because I'm going to make that a segue into 20 and I'll start at verse 20 and then read through the chapter 20.
19 verse 20 and I'll read through chapter 20. Says in the beast was seized and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence. By which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image.
These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone and the rest were killed with the sword Which came from the mouth of him who sits? I'm sorry of him who sat on the horse and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
Okay, can we all agree? Everybody's dead now, right? Everybody's dead Except the followers of the Lamb. That's where we ended at now. Here it is. Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven Holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold of the dragon the serpent of old who is the devil Satan? And bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the abyss and he shut it and he sealed it over him. So that he would not deceive the nation's any longer until the thousand years were completed.
After these things he must be released for a short time. And then I saw thrones and they set on them and judgment was given to them and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God and those Who had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received the mark on their forehead or on their hand.
And they came to life and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has part in the first resurrection.
Over these the second death has no power. But they will be priest of God and Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. And when a thousand years was completed Satan will be released from his prison and he will come out to deceive the nations which are In the four corners of the earth Gog and Magog to gather them together for the war.
The number of them is like the sand of the seashore and they came up in the broad plain the earth and Surrounded the camp of the Saints and the beloved city and fire came down from heaven and devoured them and the devil who deceived them was thrown in to the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are also and They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
And then I saw a great white throne and him who set upon it For the whose presence Earth and heaven fled away and no place was found For them and I saw the dead the great the small the standing Before the throne and books were opened and another book was opened Which is the book of life and the dead were judged from the loop from the things which were written in them According to their deeds and the sea gave up the dead which were in it and death and Hades Gave up the dead which were in them and they were judged every one of them according to their deeds then death and Hades Were thrown into the lake of fire.
This is the second death the lake of fire if anyone's name was not written in the book of life. He was thrown into the lake of fire. Remember how we talked a few weeks ago. I had to show you there's always these twos.
We get to a chapter now where we have two resurrections and two deaths. So we seeing this all the way through the books these dichotomies one set across there and we'll talk about The two resurrections and the two deaths and how they're related but before we get to any of that as We go through chapter 20.
You're going to hear multiple millennial positions Stated so before we do that. We've got to go over. What are the millennial positions how we Understand and those that did those systems understand it and I would say if you don't understand the millennial positions.
Don't just take my word for it. I read other people's sources. So I'm not going to tell you something of my own Understanding. I've read people's sources over the years and I know what they teach. I could teach each one of these positions because I have studied in that extent whether it be Dispensationalism post-millennialism reconstruction of all of that, but I want to ask you do read Original sources just like when I want to go out and evangelize if we're going to talk to Mormons I know the Mormon doctrine so that I can defend the the Christian belief against that.
I know Satanism. I know Hinduism. I studied those things original sources so that I can then make comments from original sources so that being said Every person in this room and every person that's in church.
Has that says they have a millennial position has to be derived from chapter 20 if it does not. They are not being honest because there's only one Chapter in all of the Bible that mentions a thousand years.
Anybody know how many times it just mentioned it six times. So If we're going to talk about a thousand years. And we're talking about a thousand year reign of Christ. It is derived from here. I'm not saying that you can't go look at other things to help you understand.
But it has to be derived from here. And the reason why it has to be derived from here because it talks about Christ's reign for a thousand years. How many verses do we have in the Bible talking about Christ's reign?
Dozens maybe even hundreds, okay, but when we're talking about the thousand years we have to start here. And we'll walk through it. We'll talk about Things that we can't agree on and we'll talk about things that we disagree on.
Because I don't believe that anybody in here is going to agree with everything that I say and I don't think that you have to. And nor do I think that you should because this is my understanding of it.
This is one of those issues where we can disagree and we can still be friends you show me charity. I'll show you charity and we can go on about our merry way because at the end of the day. When he splits that sky and he the dead and Christ shall rise first and those that remain will be caught up with him every Nuance and difference that we had will dissipate like the morning dew and it won't matter.
Okay, so whenever that confusion is or disagreement. It'll all be made right one day and The positions that we're going to go over none of them are heretical. Okay. Even classic dispensationalism is not heretical it is.
When I mean heretical, let me if you say well, it's it was outside of orthodox teaching. Yes, it was for 1 ,800 years, but that's not damn double heresy. Somebody can hold to that position. Although I disagree.
It's deficient and we'll talk about all of its problems because it's in the air that we breathe and the water that we drink in American culture. But you if somebody holds that position, they're not outside the kingdom neither.
Do I believe that anybody that holds the other radical position as R .J? Rush Dooney, which was a Reconstructionist of a post-millennial position do I think that he's outside the kingdom? I think he had some radical stuff, but I don't think that he's outside the kingdom.
Okay, all that being said Here's the thousand years. Either Christ comes back here or here. This would be your Pre Post Position and this would be this would be the Millennium. Okay. We'll talk about whether this is figurative or literal.
We'll talk all about that. But let's just place where the positions land. You have Historical premillennialism. We're just gonna put a dividing wall right here. Historical premillennialism. How many have ever heard of historical premillennialism?
Right. Okay. That is the pre in church history early church father apostolic age. Tertullian would have been around 200. Justin Martyr would have been our own runs of 145. Irenaeus would have been around 185 and those guys would have been what we would have called historical premillennialism.
They believed that Jesus was going to return Before the Millennium and then the Millennium starts. So second coming of Christ Would be here. Okay, that then would begin you got a question okay. That would then begin the Thousand-year reign whether you believe it's literal whether you believe it's figured.
Okay. It would still begin that and I will even say this you do have some premillennials that do not although they believe it. They take the literal Reading that it will be a Earthly reign they don't some of them don't believe that it's a real thousand years.
Okay, so that's not that's not Necessary and I when we when we actually do the exegesis of the text you will see why it's not necessary for anybody to really Make it a thousand because we're talking about apocalyptic literature so historical premillennialism Means that Jesus would return Thousand year would begin that was and honestly, I think until somebody understands Apocalyptic literature you can disagree with me.
I think the plain reading of the text. This would be your conclusion if you were just reading your Bible first time being saved. You're reading through your Bible and you get your you're told you got to read your Bible literally take it word-for-word.
You get to a thousand-year reign. I don't think until you begin to do hermeneutics and understand the rules of Exegesis you're going to go. Oh, well, that means he's gonna come and he's gonna reign for a thousand years.
I think that is The normal reading of the text, although I disagree. Okay, I disagree. Does anybody in here know when the Revelation was actually accepted into the Eastern and Western churches 608 80.
Both church now, I'm not saying that's. It's not the the early church. Okay. Did you had the moratorium fragment which was around? Bobby 150 175 and it was listed as part of the Canon, but they got quickly got away from that and I'll tell you there was people such as I may heard of Eusebius.
Eusebius wrote the first extra-biblical church history in 325 so you can have two things that were made really important in 325. What was more one would be Eusebius is ecclesiastical history. What was the other one?
Council of Nicaea. Okay, so he said it was a spurious book and then He had issues with what Irenaeus said who was closest to John the Revelator and who was and I remember who Irenaeus was basically discipled by Polycarp, so you see the progression of the the transmission of the text and oral teaching from John Polycarp, Irenaeus I do believe in Irenaeus and Justin Martyr probably have some contact with one another they were contemporary one another.
But then you have a Hundred years maybe. Yeah, probably a hundred years between Irenaeus and Eusebius so and that made it difficult for people to then begin to understand and really use Revelation in their teaching and understanding because it was it wasn't fully accepted.
Okay. All right now. Then you have Dispensational pre-millennialism this is. Probably everybody in this room when I say this are going to know immediately what dispensational Premillennialism left behind series.
That's rapture seven years of tribulation. Antichrist makes a makes a Pact with the nation of Israel and in the middle of that he breaks that then turns on them and then Jesus returns he kills the enemies of the armies that have gathered into the the valley of Jezreel with tanks and Huey helicopters and all of that and then Jesus comes he lays those armies to rest.
Kills them not rest, but kills them and then you have the millennial reign that begins that's Jesus second coming and which glorified and unconverted Live side-by-side for a thousand years whoa. Well weird in it because who comes to Jesus second coming who descends with him.
Huh. The believers in their glorified state. We'll talk about this at some point because that makes a huge problem for the Dispensational pre-millennial and I will say this this here and I am so thankful is Starting to People are starting to depart from that it just in my being saved since 2003 I have seen the continual editing changing and Manipulating their system because of that.
It's filled with inconsistencies and conjecture. If you just you know, just walking through Daniel's 77s, which is those that were in here. It's not 70 weeks. It's a booze. I buy in which is 77s you don't come to the conclusions that they have made now.
This has a long history though. This did not begin with John Darby. Mary John Darby who nears her John Darby. Okay, okay. Okay, okay. It did not begin with John Darby. He goes further back than John Darby.
John Darby was around 1833. 1840 is when he began to propagate it. He was a John Darby was. I believe John Darby's in heaven. So let me just say that I believe John Darby is in heaven but it began further back from him and with Dispensationalism it makes a sharp distinction between Israel and the church and what happens is because God Turned basically away from them.
He now has to at the rapture Return to Israel by removing the church from the planet. It's basically what it is. And then he goes back to his original program of the promises the neighbor. Yeah. Well, we can.
But it's not damnable because here's how they understand it these people let's just let's that system, okay. That system says they're going to be rebuilt temple. Okay, those Israelites are not converted.
Okay, they start their temple sacrifice. There's no damnable damnable Sacrifice than the Hindu guy that I painted his house that's putting Apples in front of this statue with flies landing on it. It's no different now.
The issue with is in the millennial reign. Okay in the second coming in the millennial reign when that takes place. The problem is what are those sacrifices in the millennial temple doing? They say they're memorial.
Okay, I don't agree with it and it's all conjecture some of that comes from being Ezekiel 40 through 48. Okay, but if you understand Ezekiel as being what type of material. What type of literature is it is major profit, but what type of major profit is that.
What genre? Apocalyptic. So you don't read it literally. And even our literal brothers don't read it literally. Because when you pin them down on it, well, I mean we'll get to it. They don't really believe and I was in a pretty heated exchange with a guy from after seminary not man a professor.
Say, okay, you call me a theological liberal because that's what he called me. I was like, then you tell me how a Metallic chain With a lock is going to bind a spiritual being. I Says and I know you don't believe that Satan's really a dragon.
Is Satan a dragon? No, he's a fallen angel in apocalyptic literature in the book of Revelation what is he described as as As a dragon. So even when they say they're literal they're not and anytime you pin them down this is and it's to me.
It's the silliest thing. Well, you should understand it literally until it is absurd. And I said to him a one man's level of absurdity is different than another's. So where's the standard? So Dispensationalism.
The rapture of the church takes place here before this before the second coming. In that time he goes back to his original program with Israel to then carry out the promises of Abraham. To fulfill the land promises and all that and if anybody's been in here on Wednesday nights.
Yeah. I don't see how you could come to the conclusion as certainly on the land promises when I overwhelmed people in here with The the verses that say it was fulfilled in the time of Joshua in the time of Solomon in the time of Nehemiah.
It's it's absurd to say that I mean there were talking about clear Fulfillment all that God had promised the fathers had not fallen to the earth. All that God had promised Abraham had been fulfilled. All that God had promised in Nehemiah and where was Nehemiah he was after the exile in 44 444 445 range 445 444 because that's how you would count him.
He even said hey, it's all been done. We're in the land. This is it and Solomon had. I can't Solomon. You know Solomon it says that Solomon ruled and had submission from East of the River of Egypt all the way To the Euphrates.
What was promised to Abraham? Okay case closed. Case closed. Abraham's Prom at land promise was fulfilled In the time of Solomon and he had them all in his submission. He had them and it was all at peace matter of fact in that passage first Kings chapter 4.
Think it's verse 23 24 all those that area all all around him all sides. It says we're at peace. We're at peace matter of fact. I think the one that says they were all they were all under his submission and we're at peace is verse 21 of chapter 4 first Kings.
Guys that can look it up real quick. Check me out because that that's important. That's important. And then he prays it in when he dedicates the temple and first Kings chapter 8 around verse 54 through 56.
He says the same thing all right, so but the development of this idea. That there would be a rapture which which would separate basically that the time of the church age in short. Didn't develop with John Darby.
It goes further back. It goes back to to a man originally Said that God would secretly come and take his people was by name of Manuel Lucanza. Have you read did you read if you read his book? George. You're where okay?
That was in 1791 and It was it was a a Jesuit priest anybody know who the Jesuit priests were. They were the Pope's stormtroopers all through church history. You had issues you sent the Jesuits to go do it.
So he then wrote a book defending the papacy. That he wasn't the Antichrist and why was he having to defend that he was the Antichrist because you had two confessions that had come out that explicitly called him not an Antichrist the Antichrist that would have been the 1646 47 West Minster West Minster Confession of Faith and then the 1689 London Second London Baptist Confession both of them identify him chapters 25 Chapters 26 respectively in each one of those confessions as the Antichrist, so he comes along and wants to defend that.
That he's not that's the whole reason for it. But in that book it said that I think it was called the return of Christ and magic glory majesty. That's the name of it and in doing so he said that Jesus would return secretly.
He would extract his people a Man by the name of Edward Irving though, who was a Scottish preacher. Wanted to learn how to Understand his writings. It was written in Spanish so Edward Irving being Scottish learned Spanish so that he could read the book and then Articulate the positions and then he begins to adopt that position.
So you have Manuel Alcanza you have Edward Irving. And you have a man by the name of Edward drumming, I mean Henry drumming. Henry drumming comes in he a part of the Albury Conferences along with the powers court and they have heard of the powers court conferences where it said that the little girl Margaret MacDonald came and she Spouted out that you know, God was going to secretly turn a cake to the bride all of that comes.
That is exactly I mean, this is. This is what takes place at these prophetic Fervor meetings and all that begins to develop now. How did the Jews get wrapped into that kind of God coming back and then resetting his quote program because that was that was not the position of Irenaeus Justin Martyr even Eusebius his position you can understand how Eusebius would have Probably interpreted revelation if he didn't think it was spurious based on what he understood about the Olivet discourse.
He said God was done with the Jews wiped him out. He's gone another direction. He's done with him. He said they're done. He's not coming back and that was the position of most of the early church fathers is that God was done with the Jews.
He was not going back. He was done and there's even guys that hold that position today. Although I disagree I do believe that there that God could be at any point beside he wants to According to Romans 11 graft them back in the original branches that he broke off and I do believe that's what's going to happen so how did Israel get wrapped up into the dispensation because Such men as there's a guy named Louis way.
Now that he was probably many probably never heard of but this is how that whole system developed. It didn't come out of thin air man by the name of Louis way Loved the Jews. He wanted to see the Jews back in Palestine.
This is in 17. He was born in 1771 and died in 1742. I think So this is I've been wrong 1842. Thank you wrong wrong math, so. So you see when this is taking place all Dispensationalism everything really took a boom in the early to mid 1800s, okay, so he Don't John Darby put all of those things together.
Put them into a system and they begin to develop it. They did have what would then added to insult to injury I should say to that Position is you did have believers that were going to Palestine Evangelizing the Jewish people.
I think that was great go to the nation's. They need to hear the gospel just like anywhere else. But when you see that that that then developed that that thought that hey They they're gonna they got to be back in their land doing their thing and they get back in the land doing a thing God will then save them.
Well, no, they don't and you know, even Robert Murray McShane. He eat eat seven trips to Palestine, okay seven trips fast. So John Darby then it doesn't catch on in England comes over here poof catches on like wildfire and then you have the Dispensationalist boom that has gone on 150 years here probably.
Probably the most biggest proponent and Explosion of it would be Moody Bible Institute and the Schofield reference Bible. Schofield reference Bible was a marketing sweep to then make dispensationalist dogma and Why do you say that because he took this is why I'm I'm not a fan of study Bibles.
I know y 'all have them. I'm not a fan of it. Okay, that's just look everybody has their opinion. They can stank my may stink to you. I don't. I'm not real fond of having This much of some man's comments and that much of the scripture on a page.
It's not fond of. That was the Schofield reference Bible. Okay, he put Dispensationalist in there and in doing so that Bible was marketed and it would be Passed out into all and basically to churches all over it became the Bible for the church for the Fundamentalist because the fundamentalists weren't liberals.
So did they attach? Dispensationalism to fundamentalism, which means now we're not part of the post-modern culture and we're not liberals. Therefore because they attach to fundamentalism if you didn't believe this.
You were outside the bounds of orthodoxy. That's what happened so I'm thankful to see people are departing from that. I will say I think it was Might be I mean if I miss speaking who said this forgive me, but I think it was it was a BB Warfield.
He said we've got these nutcases called the dispensationalist that think somehow that the Jews are going to be back in their land. Well, what happened? They ended up back in their land. Okay, and then what that then from the perspective of every dispensationalist is God's prophetic work is being fulfilled and now the the prophetic clock is ticking.
Okay, that's where all that comes from. So all that being said, this is our the two positions of Premillennialism historical and dispensational there is a new one that has come about new creation millennialism and What this has tried to do and we have gotten on millennialism yet.
But what it's tried to do is bridge the gap between pre-millennialism and amillennialism. Let me back up here for just a second. I Told you who were people proponents of this. I would just so you know modern scholars that were historical would be John Piper DA Carson.
Okay, just so if he may know so, you know, this is this is approved by Godly men, okay. This here would be John MacArthur. Although there's been several variations of this. I don't think he's a dispensationalist anymore.
I Think he has seen the light. Most every modern scholar Falls into this category. No, I'm just in short. Okay. Because this sensationalism is everywhere it is your. Your fuck your Churches of God Church of Christ SBC IFB it's it's in every it's in all of it and even in Pentecostal parts, correct?
Okay, it's not it's not in Pentecostal. There is a range of Preterist partial breads, correct. Pre pre right. Okay pre wrap. We'll talk about that to pre trip free right? Yeah I remember being civil what we're going to point you in we went to we went to London.
Then we went to Oxford we went to Oxford to scope the joint out to plant church and The plan was I was going to look at selling my company. We were going to plant a church in Oxford because there's nothing there as far as a church Reformed Church.
This was in 2012 so when we Got back The plan was to do that because there's no no Historical churches there. It's hey you Cambridge Wycliffe Bible Institute the guy that what we were there Wycliffe Bible Institute the guy Richard Turnbull had just got fired.
Did you remember that the guy that's house? We went a he had just got fired from the from the press because he was he wanted he was teaching the doctrines of grace and they said Gotta go gotta go gotta go anyway so most of your dispensational are in that conglomeration of IV a SPC IFB.
Some Pentecostal some. This has a pre trip free wrath situation when I was going to plant that church. They told me two things Mike you got if you've been doing SPC approved seminary. No, how about just let me preach for you?
If you don't like the way I preached and we'll talk about it. And he says are you actually the first thing he says are you pre trip free wrath? I'm sorry pre pre pre tread pre millennium. I said no he said Can't help you.
Because I was going to use down. I'm gonna say who they are. There was a huge Admissions board. I said, can you give me a year salary? I'm selling my company. Give me a year to get to where I need to go plant the church.
Then I'll live on the economy. I'll be and I said no because you're not pre millennial and you're not free trip. You see how dogma that is. This is not even this is something we can't we shouldn't even divide over.
So back to here. Anybody ever Tom Schreiner? Tom Schreiner. Okay, Tom Schreiner is a proponent of this Erdhoch nipple and I heard of him. Probably not. He's a German guy. These are the two most Proponents of this and what they did to try to bridge the gap.
This is this is appealing. I'm still with you. It's appealing. Because what it does is it takes the fact that when Christ returns at the second coming and at the end of chapter 19 Everybody's dead. They can then say well, you don't have the glorified and the unconverted living together because nobody's going to live with you.
Nobody's there. But then the new millennium Christ ruling and reigning with his Saints ushers in the new the millennium ushers in the new creation okay, so that I Think it's fancy. I Disagree, and there's nothing scholarly enough written about this to go.
Hey, let's let's see if this is a Legitimate. That's an eschatological position, okay. It's fancy though. Did you raise your hand? No, all right. Postmillennial positions. Okay. There's multiple of those as well.
At the end of the day you have to be one of two positions. You're either going to be premillennial or Postmillennial it's just which brand are you in there? Jesus Christ don't come in the middle of the thousand-year reign.
He either comes after it or before it. That's the only two options so in Postmillennialism you you technically have three brands you have I'm ill Reconstruction. I'm ill reconstruction general equity theonomy.
That's it. That's the that's the three this the three positions. We'll save this one for last because I always say the right position to the end so Postmill Christ will return after after the millennial reign now.
The I would say that all of these is A gentleman's disagreement on the nature of the Millennium. That's all it is. If you're a postmillennialian and Me and you agree that Jesus will come at the end of the Millennium.
We just disagree on the nature of What transpires here and when and when that transpires? Reconstructionist and this would be such people as R .J. Rushdooney, and I know some of y 'all probably have anybody here where R .J. Rushdooney.
I know you have you yeah Rushdooney, okay. This is radical Reconstruction and and when I say these names if anybody is Familiar with the new branding of reconstructionism, then you're gonna go. Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about Christian nationalism, it's radical.
It's paedo-baptist in nature. It's sacralistic. Anybody know what sacralist is? Sacralism, okay. Sacralism is when you wed the state and the church together. That's what reconstructionism does. It then takes during this millennial time then the the nature of that Millennium is then wedded together through Transforming Society.
Arts entertainment work all these things. It's it's then it reshapes the society and then Reimposes God's law in the this case and in this case, which is just a rebrand. They do want to impose the Mosaic legislation.
And they're under the Christian nationalism some of those guys want to impose. I know we have to define what Christian nationalism is and we'll do that. We can't do it today. It's only got like four minutes Christian nationalism they wanted to reimpose even dietary laws you know that that is a Slap in the face of Christ.
What did Jesus say? All clean all clean. So you disagree with the vision which I don't see how you could you would disagree with the vision at Cornelius's house, okay. And God told Peter eat eat man eat that pork sandwich.
They say it's health reasons we need to do this we need to do that we need to Execute adulterers. We need to execute adulteresses. We need to kill homosexuals. Hey, this is not me making this up. That's it.
This is not me. This is in their own writings. You want to read Rush Denny's fat book? You can read it. You want to read Stephen Wolf's book on Christian nationalism? I read it twice put corrections in it 598 pages read it twice read it the first time to go.
Okay, let me get the feel of it read it again and made all the corrections and and dude. He is not a theologian. He come out and he is a political science guy and because These two are not really concerned with conversion.
They're concerned with a Christian society it falls on the line of. Many of us in here old enough to remember what was called cultural Christianity, right? Remember that? Well cultural Christianity Was a social construct.
Christian nationalism. Reconstructionalism becomes a political construct so you take those two and you wed them together and that's what you have and that is Rush Denny's Postmillennial hope. Okay, I believe he's in heaven.
I believe that if you hold a position that you want to be a Reconstructionist, okay. But when you begin to go, okay, we want to reimpose God the Mosaic law that law is not binding. That is no longer a covenant.
You should have time I have to pick up there. I think what the they had a radical use of the Mosaic law in which they should use it. This way I think if you're if this is the goal, okay the post-millennial hope which I'm not a post-millennialist.
But if that is the gap that I think this is the way to get there. Not that. This causes forced conversions. You catch up two men in the act of homosexuality and you take them out and you're going to whatever the.
Execute them and you give them an opportunity to repent or go back to being a homosexuality. What are they gonna do? Huh? Hey, we're gonna cut your head off. Or you want to go back out of it? You can't have sex with another man again.
What are they gonna say? Correct and that is not conversion of the heart its forced conversion by the sword it leads to it by nature logical conclusion leads to Forced conversion because this is Reconstructionism and Christian nationalism that brand of it is not Concerned with the conversion of the heart.
It's concerned with the political construct enforcing the law of God now should. Should we want there to be a Christian flavor in our society? Certainly it's less oppressive. But anytime you get into the Reconstruction then what are the penalties.
There was a guy that was here and we gonna go. He's not here anymore. He said that he believed that homosexual should be executed. I mean that homosexuality should be against the law and I said, okay, what's the penalty?
Before you start talking about against the law, what are those penalties? And he immediately jumped to adultery and He didn't say fornication. I brought up fornication he said adulterous and adulterous.
I said what about fornication and he said well, I said wait a minute. You can't have your cake and eat it too if we're going to then begin to oppose. Impose the Mosaic law and these penalties. Fornication is one I says and I'll even make it a step further.
When the state's going to do that. When did the state right then have the right to come into my bedroom and tell me and my wife what we can't do. When the marriage beds undefiled. Where's the line? Well, the line today is right here because we gotta get George we pray for.
