The Unborn Child’s Plea for Life

Good morning, good afternoon, and good night. Let me introduce myself. I'm the voiceless baby who you've condemned to die. I'm the image bearer of God who you can't bear to give the privilege of life.

So you murder me, so you can get a college education, work a better job, and hopefully make more currency. I mean, currently your life convenience is a reason to urgently kill me through pills or violent surgery.

But what about the ugly stretch marks? What about the lifelong servitude where you won't reach all your goals and benchmarks? What about at conception where my life starts? What about many weeks later where they decapitate me, crush my head, and rip me apart limb from limb?

Here's a few remarks on where sin begins, on how hardened hearts now support the harvest of my precious baby body parts. How have we accepted this pro-choice stance for women's rights while we've snuffed out my voice because I'm voiceless living inside?

Please don't choose a permanent solution. In the midst of your temporary fear and confusion, my life begins at conception. It's been proven. So think about my life that might be ruined. If you were the victim of incest or rape, please don't kill me for the sins of my father's sake and add murder to your case.

And if my birth threatens your life, fight to save me and don't ensure that I surely die. Don't end my life to possibly save your life. If I was born, wouldn't you protect me from someone with poison and a knife?

I don't mind being poor, and I'd rather be alive than dead with a disability. My quality of life is more dependent on the love that you're willing to give to me. So choose life. Choose right. Know that my death will cause mourning in the midst of every sleepless night.

Forgiveness and Restoration in Christ

And if it's too late and you've already paid someone to murder me, I hope you come to Christ for forgiveness so we can be reunited for eternity. So listen to me, please. In Christ, there is forgiveness, healing, and restoration.

Every sin, which includes an abortion, can be forgiven if we repent, confess, and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord, and he died and rose again for our salvation.
