It's almost been like, the temperatures haven't been too bad, but you know, it's been gray and dark almost like the way you see it get in January around here.

Yeah, I was at a Bible study this morning, and one of the men there at the

Bible study, he made the point that when he was growing up, and he grew up in Southern California, he said that when it was overcast, it rained.

And when he moved to Cincinnati, it was very odd for him because you get these long stretches where you have these gray days, these overcast days, you have all these clouds, but they wouldn't do anything.

There's no rain, no snow, no nothing. And yesterday, I guess we had a little bit of mist, but boy, today, you know, it was just really gray.

I mean, there was no rain at all, but you know, it was just gray and overcast and kind of depressing.

I see it was very, very dark. I think that's one of the things, you know, as we're getting, of course, we're over a month into fall, and I know winter's not too far away.

Well, that October 31st, 1517, is when Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the

Wittenberg Church. So that is historically seen as kicking off the

Protestant Reformation, and that was a very seminal event, certainly in history.

It changed the world, and it changed it for the better. I always love being able to go back and read and study

Reformation history for no other reason than you finally get a chance to see the good guys win.

You know, in this particular time we live in right now, it seems like it's all bad news. You know, I've talked to people whom

I know, and it's very interesting because several of them have made the point, they said, you know,

I can't stand watching the news because it's all bad. And that's really true.

I mean, there's really not a whole lot of good news out there. I mean, every news report you read, every video you watch, or what have you,

I mean, it just seems like it's just bad news constantly, whether it's a collapsing economy, whether it's some sort of social type of an issue, or you've got the mass immigration on the border, you've got

COVID lockdowns, vaccine mandates, people losing their jobs because they refuse to get vaccinated, and all this stuff going on.

And it's not good news. But you know, when you read the history of the

Reformation, you see the good guys win. And that's nice to see that. That's encouraging. And of course, we know in the end that the good guys do win.

But sometimes you have to go through a lot of, well, a lot of difficulty to get there. And it seems like we're entering a very difficult time right now.

I certainly know as Christians that things appear to be on the way to getting worse, not better.

Now, I don't know what the future holds. So I don't want to, I'm not trying to say I know for sure what's going to happen.

But I mean, you can look around and see sort of the gathering storm, if you will.

You know, the Bible talks about this. It talks about, there's a proverb, a good man foresees trouble coming and hides himself.

But the fool passes on and is punished. And it seems right now that we're entering a time where there's trouble coming.

And we need to learn how to, in a sense, hide ourselves as Christians.

We may very well have to. It's getting harder and harder to participate in mainstream society.

And I hope it doesn't get to the point where we're driven out completely. But you just don't know the way things are going right now.

And the headline, this is a story I saw from, it was written by Paul Joseph Watson on his news website called

Summit News. The headline is this, it says, Pope demands Silicon Valley, in the name of God, censor hate speech and conspiracy theories.

Pope Francis thinks empowering giant corporations to silence free speech is godly. So let's read through the article a little bit and we'll comment on it here.

It says, Pope Francis invoked God in an effort to pressure Silicon Valley giants into censoring more content, including hate speech and conspiracy theories.

Yes, really. The Pope read the remarks during, excuse me, during the World Meeting of Popular Movements, a shadowy organization created to promote social justice and fight racism with the help of religious leaders.

Quote, in the name of God, I asked the technology giants to stop exploiting human weakness, people's vulnerability for the sake of profits without caring about the spread of hate speech, grooming, fake news, conspiracy theories, and political manipulation, he stated.

Pope Francis also invoked the term post -truth, which was invented by establishment media organizations after they began to lose their monopoly on controlling a narrative following the election of Donald Trump.

The Catholic leader apparently believes it's Christian and godly to empower giant corporations to shut down free speech.

This is no surprise given his previous stance on free speech in response to the slaughter of the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists, when he rhetorically sided with the terrorists who murdered them in cold blood.

As we document in the video below, which Pope Francis would surely love to see banned, the Supreme Parliament smears his critics as performing the work of the devil in relation to his every action and position has served to further the antichrist globalist beast system for which he is a willing puppet.

No doubt the Pope would respond to such claims by characterizing them as conspiracy theories and hate speech. Beginning to see how this works?

So there's a few things that I wanted to mention about all this. And that is in the first place, it should come as no surprise that Rome would attack the idea of free speech.

Now the Roman Catholic Church state, being an authoritarian monarchy, it's never supported free speech and everywhere it has the opportunity, it has suppressed free speech.

You know, you think back in the Middle Ages, I mean, if you express disagreement with the church's teaching and you said so publicly or you wrote something that was disseminated, you'd find yourself in receiving the end of some very nasty business.

You know, cancel culture was not invented in the 21st century. Cancel culture existed in the

Middle Ages and it was cancel culture and it was cancel culture with a vengeance. You know,

I mean, if you went against the church's teaching, you'd find yourself on the receiving end of some very nasty business, being tortured and being killed.

And that's how the Roman Catholic Church worked in the Middle Ages. You know, think of all the persecutions of the

Reformers in the 16th century, for example. I've got a few quotes here and I think it's very interesting to see how, you know, we have this idea, we have this assumption, particularly as Americans or if you happen to live in a country in the

West that was influenced by the Reformation, we have this idea that, you know, that free speech is something that's pretty normal, but it's actually not.

I mean, if you look historically at what has transpired, it's been exactly the opposite.

And the free speech that we do enjoy, and this is something that even many Christians miss this, is something that flows out of the biblical doctrine of justification by faith alone.

I've got a few quotes here I wanted to read you from John Robbins. He talks about this. The first one is from his book,

Freedom and Capitalism, and he said this, the importance of the individual, rooted in the Reformation's recovery of the

Bible's doctrines of individual election, individual regeneration, individual justification, individual sanctification, individual responsibility before God at the final judgment, personal immortality in heaven or hell, justification by belief alone in the priesthood of all believers, is a basic value of American society.

From it are derived all the individual freedoms and protections we enjoy. Religion, press, speech, association, privacy, private arms, no self -incrimination, trial by jury, no double jeopardy, and freedom of contract.

So the scripture's emphasis on the individual is translated politically into individual rights, and one of those rights that we cherish certainly as Americans is the right of free speech.

But that right is constantly under attack, and it's under attack in particular in our own time by big tech.

I mean, you think about all of the people who have been canceled on big tech, people who've had their accounts either suspended or they've been shadow banned or permanently banned altogether.

The President of the United States, former President of the United States, Donald Trump, he's been banned from social media.

Now, whether you like Donald Trump or you hate Donald Trump, that should bother you, because Donald Trump, you know, what he did,

I mean, he's been banned simply because of his opinions. He's been kicked off of all of the major social media platforms.

And this is the President of the United States, and of course the message in all of that is if they can kick the President of the

United States off of social media, well, they can kick you and me off of social media. You know,

I mean, if the President of the United States is subject to cancellation by YouTube and by Facebook and Twitter and some of these other big tech outfits, well, so are you and I.

You know, this article by Paul Joseph Watson, and I don't want to be too hard on Paul Joseph Watson, because he's actually one of the very few people that reported it.

In fact, he was the first one, and most of the other examples, like if you search the internet, you search this particular story, it's just reprints of the work that he did.

So I wouldn't even have known about this if it weren't for his work. So I really appreciate his publishing this, but there's a few things that seem to surprise him.

He seems to be surprised by the idea that the Pope would actually come out and support censorship.

But again, you know, this is something that the Roman Catholic Church has always practiced. This is not some new thing.

It's not something fresh and new with Pope Francis, but I mean, this is historically what

So we're going back, you know, what, 133 years here at this point. Quote, from what has been said, it follows that it is quite unlawful to demand, to defend, or to grant unconditional freedom of thought, of speech, of writing, or of worship as if these were so many rights given by nature to man.

Rome is willing to, you know, to put up with a certain amount of free speech. And you notice here in that particular paragraph from Leo XIII, it likewise follows that freedom in these things may be tolerated whenever there is a just cause.

So, you know, when the Roman church state can't enforce its full censorship, yeah, it's willing to let some things slide.

But, you know, when Rome has the ability to do so, it's going to crack down and crack down hard. And I mean, and you can see this right from Pope Francis.

I mean, all he's doing, all Pope Francis is doing is just behaving and speaking in a way that all the popes, all the antichrists prior to him have spoken.

You know, when we talk about antichrist, of course, we're talking about an office. You know, the, you know, antichrist is not a single individual.

Antichrist is an office. It's the office of the papacy. Pope Francis is the current occupant of that office.

Therefore, he is the current antichrist who's out there. And he's simply just going and building on the traditions and the statements of previous antichrists.

And one thing that was very interesting, this really grabbed my attention here, is right toward the end of this particular, the article by Paul Joseph Watson.

He says this, in reality his, he's talking about Pope Francis, he says, in reality, his every action and position has served to further the antichrist globalist beast system for which he is a willing puppet.

Well, again, and this is something where Paul Joseph Watson, and I don't know what his views are, you know, religiously.

I don't know. I don't believe he is a Roman Catholic. He may not be, you know, he may be an atheist or an agnostic or something.

Pope, that Pope Francis is sort of a puppet, you know, that he's kind of a victim, that he's just being used by these forces, these globalist forces that are trying to stifle our free speech.

COVID stuff or, you know, the lockdowns and restrictions, mandates for vaccines, all these kinds of things.

I mean, he's willing to go after that stuff. And a lot of what he says is quite good. But he has a blind spot here.

And unfortunately, this is true in generally in most of the, you know, sometimes what's called the alternate media, or some people call it the truth media.

You know, that is independent journalists who do work commenting on the news. This is something that I've noticed.

And I've followed a number of these people. And you can get some good information out of them. They can write some good stories.

This is a good story. I mean, I appreciate the fact that Paul Joseph Watson put this out. I would not have known about this if it weren't for the work that he did.

United States covered this. I mean, the only appearances I found of this are on alternate news sites.

So it's great that he wrote this and he put this out there. But you know, it also at the same time shows some of the weakness in the way people understand or perhaps more accurately misunderstand the papacy.

So, you know, here in just another six days, our president is going to go see his boss,

Pope Francis, and I guess get his marching orders. So if you read through here, it says,

President Joe Biden will meet Pope Francis in Rome on October 29th, despite criticism from Catholics about his position on abortion.

Okay, so this is kind of a silly thing. There's been some noise here over the past few months, you know, that they're going to withhold communion from Joe Biden, because he's pro -abortion.

And of course, you know, the bishops and the popes and that, they make a pretense of saying, well, that they are not, you know, they do not support abortion.

And, you know, and there's been some noises from the US Catholic bishops in this, oh, you know, we're going to withhold communion from him.

And of course, Pope Francis actually a few months back made very explicit order. He said, don't withhold communion.

And of course, he's not going to do that, because, you know, Joe Biden is his obedient puppet.

You know, we were talking about puppets before. Well, Pope Francis is the puppet master, and Joe Biden is the puppet.

American people and, of course, other people in the West because they want, because according to all the globalist types, it's a global problem that needs a global solution, which means that we're going to get run over by more globalist bureaucrats if these people get their way.

Okay, well, one of the things both Pope Francis and Joe Biden believe in is they believe in forced vaccinations, lockdowns, mask mandates, and all of the other

COVID tyranny that has been imposed throughout the world. They love this stuff.

You know, Joe Biden doesn't think twice about getting people fired from their jobs if they won't take this particular shot that, frankly, has some very, very nasty side effects to it.

It kills people. And so, I mean, that's an issue there with Joe Biden and the

Pope, they both agree on massive COVID tyranny. Then there's tackling the climate crisis.

So, I mean, what that means is imposing massive fines, punishments, taxes, restrictions, regulations of all sorts on the

American people in order to alleviate a fake problem. You know, this is another fraud, another lie, another bunch of rubbish that the globalists have been using as a tool to push on us for decades now.

I guess, maybe about 50 years ago. And all that first started to get going, I guess it was what, maybe the late 60s, early 70s.

But it's really all of a piece. And it's all anti -industrial, it's all anti -freedom, it's all anti -liberty, it's all anti -national sovereignty, it's all pro -globalism.

But yeah, that doesn't stop them from pushing us. And of course, the final thing they talk about in caring for the poor, well, what that means is socialism.

So all of this massive influx of immigrants, migrants, refugees, illegal immigrants, what have you, that's flooding the
