00:00: Today's question is, what does God look like? In this video I'll answer that question from a biblical perspective.

00:20: God is Spirit, John 4, verse 24, and so His appearance is not like anything we can describe.
00:27: Exodus 33, verse 20 tells us, you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.
00:35: As sinful human beings, we are incapable of seeing God in all His glory. His appearance is utterly unimaginable and too glorious to be safely perceived by sinful man.
00:45: The Bible describes God appearing to people on various occasions. These instances should not be understood as describing exactly what
00:53: God looks like, but rather as God revealing Himself to us in a way that we can understand.

01:12: Two passages that powerfully describe God's amazing appearance are Ezekiel 1, verses 26 -28 and Revelation 1, verses 14 -16.
