Dr. Médine Moussounga Keener holds a Ph.D. from the University of Paris 7. Born and raised in the Republic of Congo, she survived the Congolese civil war and lived as a refugee for 18 months, enduring displacement, hunger, sickness, and loss while helping care for her family. Her experiences during the war profoundly shaped her understanding of faith, forgiveness, perseverance, and God's presence in suffering. Today, she teaches and speaks internationally alongside Craig on suffering, ethnic reconciliation, and Christianity in both Africa and the United States.
