by Dustin Kensrue, Isaiah 53:1
His appearance was so badly marred he could not have been recognized. So disfigured, so beyond all human likeness that we hid our life. Though he carried all our griefs and bore our sorrows. We esteemed him not despite we considered him afflicted.
And this one reviled by God on a stray. Time to say this we are transgressions. He did not lash our son to the slope. And not his madness on him His pride, his peace and crash. For he died to save his people.
Our sins are vain. This mighty servant raised above His might and his victory. The kings of men shall shout.
