It sets forth his humanity Humility of Jesus. Transfiguration is the goal that we are all looking for. When we see the Lord Jesus the Christ Transfigured there on the mountain. You're seeing exactly what is going to take place in that day.
When we are translated Jesus The Christ Showed his real self. I don't know how to explain it so you can understand. But his countenance was changed his Clothing was changed. He glowed brilliantly Just as we will and behold there talked with him two men Which were Moses and Elijah.
