Something is VERY Wrong | John MacArthur

So, a lot of parents have had this experience.

You send your kid off to college, you're proud, Dylan got into Duke, we're so happy.

And then the kid comes back and hates not only you, but the country and himself, and the chances of that

child having a happy, productive personal life go to about zero.

That's the fruit of liberal arts in this country now.

So, it's a very common experience.

The mandate for believers is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Well, why is it important for educators to teach about gender identity, gender

presentation, and pronouns?

Why do you think that's important?

Because there is a difference.

There is biological sex, and a lot of times people are conflating sex and gender.

So, there's biological sex, and then there's gender, and that's a social construct in the sense that just because you're

born biologically a female, it doesn't mean you automatically want to vacuum, for instance, which is usually a feminine

activity, or conflated that way.

And so, it's this idea of giving children in age -appropriate ways, an understanding that

you can, that these things aren't set in stone.

Gender identity is not tied to biology.

You say that gender's not set in stone.

What do you mean?

I mean, that's just factually incorrect.

That's not just a mandate for preachers and missionaries.

That's a mandate for every believer.

We're all under the command of the Great Commission.

And that means that believers need to be everywhere in the world, making connections with non -believers,

and proclaiming Jesus Christ.

So, I always have to ask the question at the end.

I mean, everyone knows what the question's gonna be.

But, so, what is a woman?

Can you define the term?

I think the answer to what is a woman is a person who aligns with feminine traits that

we traditionally associate with females.

Or that people that align with the feminine side of the spectrum.

So, that's my answer.

And I think that answer should, the definition of everything changes over time.

And as we continue to learn more about what humans can really be,

I think that can continue to grow.

And I hope you understand that.

Of course, the dominant way that happens is in a community in which a person lives.

But maybe even more intensely than that, it's at the job where you're absolutely thrown together

in the same enterprise with non -believers every day for hours and hours.

That means that we've gotta have Christian people mingled into every legitimate

enterprise in the world.

So, Matt tweeted last night, we've obtained internal documents from Fox News employees.

Fox Corporation is celebrating pride by encouraging employees to read about glory holes, supporting a group that gives sterilizing hormones to

homeless youth, and deployed woke AI to monitor everyone.

It produced a bunch of documents.

Those documents were then put on the employee portal for Fox News employees.

So, for example, under the heading support one another, Fox encouraged employees to donate to the Trevor Project, the Ali Forney Center, and

the LA LGBT Center.

Fox says it was devoted to helping LGBTQ young people, but it hosts a sexually explicit chat room that connects children as young as 13 years

old.

With LGBT adults.

The Master's University has always understood that.

A strong commitment to disciplines that are going to put us in critical positions in the

world for the sake of the gospel.

This video is a little different from my other videos because it's both a video about an important topic,

education, and it's a video where I'm kind of collaborating with someone from the Master's University and

Seminary, which John MacArthur is the president of.

We live in a world where the vast majority of secular colleges seems to be extremely anti -Christian and

anti -Bible.

We are losing somewhere between 70 and 88 % of our children by the end of their freshman year in college.

That's the children of evangelicals.

Somewhere between 70 and 88 % of them have nothing to do with spiritual things by the end of their freshman year in college.

Here is DePaul University, the largest Catholic university in the United States, preventing

Ben Shapiro from entering the campus at all, simply because protestors say that his

ideas are dangerous.

Let him speak.

Pleasure to meet you.

You know that you weren't registered, whatever, for the group didn't register you for the event.

They have strict things, so you're not allowed into the event.

Well, I mean, YF did inform me that I was coming as a speaker, as a person sitting in the audience, as

well as as a member of Christina Hoff Summers' team.

So I'm not sure whether their standards are necessary.

I'm also wondering exactly why it's so necessary to keep me personally out.

We're just following protocols, sir.

Well, why is your protocol to keep me specifically out?

What country protocol?

Soviet Union or United States?

Do you want to step over here to decide?

I'm happy to do it right here, if you'd like.

I mean, obviously, this needs to be private.

The bottom line is, it's a private property, okay?

If the proper procedures weren't followed, then you're not gonna be allowed in.

So am I to understand that if I take three steps forward, you will attempt to have me arrested?

If you create a problem and you will not, you know, leave the campus, yes.

Clearly, you have great security.

I'm glad in a city that has some 4 ,000 shootings to this date, you have 30 members of security just

for a 59165 Jewish guy.

And this may be a mild allocation of resources.

Well, okay, well, if that's the way we're gonna do this, then we'll just do the events elsewhere, folks.

So follow us.

With this kind of an environment in many of the largest universities all over the Western world, it's no wonder

that so many young people who begin college professing faith in Jesus Christ end up losing their

faith sometime in college due to the immense pressure from the world to embrace sin and reject

the Bible.

This is why it's important for young people to be able to grow in their career skills in an

environment that is not hostile to their faith.

Lately, we all also understand that the world is going hard into the

realm of technology.

That means we need to develop programs that are going to train young

people at the highest levels of technology, computer science, electrical

engineering, mechanical engineering.

And the Lord has allowed us at the Master's University to develop a new program in this area.

And it is literally transforming our university from being just

liberal arts, which is classically defined as the arts and the sciences and literature and all

of that, into this technology category.

We need to have our young people who love Christ, who know the word of God, having an impact on the

technological world in the future.

So we're excited about this opportunity.

And this is a monumental, cutting edge, frontline, point of the spear, new dimension

for life and training at the Master's University.

Let's contrast a place like the Master's University with a place like Harvard, an Ivy League

college that blatantly stands against pretty much all that the Bible teaches.

Had a conversation with a student.

It was, you know, this student was, you know, one of those high achieving Christian students and he wanted to impact the world.

And this student was, you know, did great grades and all this sort of stuff.

And he said, you know, I want to go to Harvard Law School.

I said, why do you want to go to Harvard?

Why in the world do you want to go there?

They hate God there.

Why do you want to go there?

His response to me was, well, because almost all the Supreme Court justices in the modern era came from Harvard.

So I want to go to Harvard because ultimately I want to serve on the Supreme Court.

I said, so let me see if I get this straight.

You're a Christian and you serve the one, true and living God.

And what you have found is a human path to the Supreme Court

through a school that hates God.

So you want to go to that place so that you can get to the Supreme Court and bring more glory to Harvard as it

continues to flood the Supreme Court.

How about you go someplace that's not Harvard and get on the Supreme Court so that God and not a school gets the

glory?

And he looked at me, as we'd say in the South, like a calf staring at a new gate.

Hey dude, what's wrong with you?

What are you thinking?

Some of you face that because you come to the master's college.

Why would you go to the master's college?

Why don't you go to this place or that place or the other place?

Because you know how much more prestige your degree would have if you got it from

there.

Go amongst the pagans.

Let them certify you.

Elite universities like Harvard try to convince people that places like these are necessary to

land a good job.

But the simple truth is that they are not at all necessary.

For the vast majority of excellent jobs out there in the world, all you really need are the foundations

and excellent work ethic and the ability to communicate well, which you absolutely do not

need a prestigious university to attain.

For example, an enormous number of people, including myself, completely left our college degrees to

attend random coding bootcamps for about three months and then ended up with careers that are far better

than the careers we went to college for.

I have no computer engineering degree or certificate, but I am now very good at what I do

simply because I worked very hard to gain the relevant skills.

As Christians, we need to be very careful about the kinds of people we allow to influence us

and our children.

There are countless educators in colleges around the country who absolutely hate what the Bible

teaches.

This kind of behavior is absolutely incredible coming from someone who is supposedly an

educator of young people.

Contrast that teacher's behavior to this message that John MacArthur delivered to students of the

Master's University.

There is a clear distinction between the truth of the word of God and the gospel and the

culture.

I said on Sunday or one of these recent Sundays that for most of my ministry life, I've been

talking to the church about getting the gospel right.

I wrote a book years ago called The Gospel According to Jesus to try to help believers understand what the gospel is.

And then another book, The Gospel According to the Apostles, and then The Gospel According to Paul, and then The Gospel According to God, and

then Ashamed of the Gospel, and then The Jesus You Can't Ignore, and book after book after book after book, conference after

conference, sermon after sermon, warning people from Matthew 7.

Not everybody who says, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven.

And trying to help the church understand that they needed to be true to the word of God, the true

gospel and sound doctrine.

It was a hard sell, to be honest with you, it was a hard sell because fake Christianity was so

financially successful.

It was so viable in all of its forms.

In a time when so many young people are being deceived and manipulated by the world into

turning away from the truth of God's word, it's more important than ever for students to be

able to receive an excellent education, while at the same time growing in their knowledge of God

and their faith in Jesus Christ.

And the Master's University and Seminary is an excellent option to do this very thing.
