Read This Article Men!

Guys, stop what you're doing, if you can, if you're driving, don't stop that. And if you're at home with your family, don't stop that.

But but make sure to prioritize reading this article that was put up on the cross politic blog zine by Rhett Burns.

And man, this this really hit me in the feels it really did. And not just because I work from home right now, and I do work from home 100 % remote right now.

But I have to be honest, like over the years, I've been very tempted to potentially consider an opportunity, you know, back, you know, working for an employer where I wouldn't potentially work from home all the time.

Because a lot of those opportunities can be really lucrative. In fact, I interviewed for a company recently, and their compensation plan, knowing what

I think I'm capable of, was very alluring. And that's not not necessarily like a done deal or anything like that.

Like, I'm not, I'm not going to reject that offer, necessarily, because there could be a way to work remotely for the majority of the time, even with something like that.

But but man, this, this is a great article, it really, it really makes you kind of kind of reevaluate your priorities and things like that.

And obviously, men, we understand that, that we have to provide for our families, and all of us want to provide it for our families.

Well, we want to have enough and we want to have enough that we can can do good things in our community.

And we can give a lot to people. And I'm not to say like, if you don't have a lot of money, you can't give you, you certainly can.

I mean, that's not what I'm saying. But what what I'm saying is, we all have this dream of providing our family with a very comfortable life.

And and being able to give a lot of money away, that would just be awesome. A lot of Christians have that dream.

But there are things that kind of have to rank higher on the priority list. And this article makes the point that being at home with your family is important.

And obviously, some people can't. And I'm not saying this is not, this is not, you know, a thing where it's like you either do this, or you're not a good

Christian. It's not like that at all. It's not like that at all. Rather, what it's doing is it's explaining why entrepreneurship and being home with your family being able to work from home is so attractive, because it kind of hits us right kind of like where we're made, right.

And so here's how this article starts you again, I encourage you to read this. It says this, it says over at the how to build a podcast, how to build a tent podcast,

Matt Williams is encouraging listeners to start businesses in 2020. And he plans to dedicate a good portion of his shows this year towards helping people succeed in their new ventures.

So guys, if you have ever been interested in starting a business, listen to the how to build a tent podcast, he's going to help you and he's a good guy and he's entertaining.

And anyway, the article continues, it says the goal to start a business that brings in $250 per month in revenue.

It's purposely small, designed to overcome the fear of starting a business.

Matt noted that he's received more feedback from this emphasis than anything else he has done in the show.

Why is that? Why does entrepreneurship, even at such a small level, tap into and capture imaginations to inspire action?

The motivation has to be more than just a few extra hundred bucks in one's pocket. Man, I love that.

I love that. I mean, it's very difficult to start a business and be making millions of dollars right away.

It's very difficult to start a business and be making thousands of dollars right away. But a goal of $250 a month in revenue, that's something that seems achievable and it is achievable.

And you can get started on it right now, like you don't need like like if your goal is to build a $250 in revenue a month to start, like you don't need thousands of dollars of capital to make that $250.

You understand I'm saying? So like, this is a really good idea. Matt, this is a really good idea.

You can see I'm I'm emotional about this. This is this makes me this gets me excited, man. And then and then this article goes into sort of how the way we do work now where you go to an office and things like that, it really disconnects you from your home and from your community because you're there so often when you're awake, instead of home, instead of in your neighborhood, instead of in your community, it, it disconnects you.

And sometimes again, sometimes this is necessary, but other times it isn't, it isn't necessary. And so this is just so interesting, man, this, this article, you should read it.

I'm not going to go into the whole thing, but it really sort of challenges, I'm going to speak for myself, it challenges me to, to, to reconsider my priorities, because I've got this,

I've got this temptation. And I'm not saying this would be wrong. I'm not saying it would be wrong of me to do this, to not do with what

I'm doing, because I could make more doing something else. And, you know, when you're home and you're with your family and, and, you know, it's a, it's great.

I consider myself so blessed, but you know, working your business on your own, it can be hard to, you know, really produce what you think you're capable of.

And so, man, I needed this article. I really did, especially, I mean, even in the last few days,

I've, this has been something that I've been thinking about. So, you know, this is the timing of this article was just perfect.

Timing of this article was just perfect. And, you know, it's just, this is not going to solve, you know, everyone's problems, by the way, like, like working from home is not going to solve all your problems, obviously.

But it is, I think that the idea of people being able to work from home more and telecommuting and things like that, even if you're working for an employer, but you can telecommute like that, that's so helpful in so many ways for your families.

And, and let's just be honest, like your family is like the unit, the governmental unit that is primary in God's system.

It's not like how it is in our system, in our system, the governmental unit that's primary is the federal government.

They are basically in charge of everything. All they basically have it all. They have all the power, all the control, all the, all the stuff like, you know, you know how you get executed in the

United States real fast, treason, treason against the state, but treason against the family.

It's just no big deal to us anymore. In fact, there's an entire cottage industry of people that make a ton of money based on divorce.

I was speaking to, I was speaking to a real estate agent the other day, because I've been, I've been touring houses and stuff like that. And this woman cackled and said, oh, divorce is so good for our business.

That's just loving it, loving it, laughing all the way to the bank and just on misery and sin.

And anyway, I'm going on a tangent here. That's not what this is about. Guys, seriously, prioritize reading this article on cross -politic man as maker.
