Unanswered Prayer, Repentance, and Perseverance

I want to read from Philippians chapter 1, Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus, who are Philippi, to the bishops and deacons, Grace be unto you and peace, from God our Father, in remembrance of you, prayer of mine for you all, making request with joy, that's a great statement, making request to perform it, that you may be sincere in another place, for a few, no confession, he likes to be, do not hide, you're just praying, 2 Timothy 2 .22, no, no, no, begins and carries on, it brings glory to God, hear it, hear it is mine, hear it's prayer, that you want God to, he said, he that covers his face, and we keep on doing this all the way through, and your sins have hidden his face from you, that he will not hear you, not search my wife, or my husband, or my kids, or my parents, search me O God, see if there be, people tell me this, you know something, don't try and kid me, you have to get people, sometimes you have to hit people hard, he's talking but you don't listen, he wasn't a Christian, she wasn't, and she said, you know, I prayed 50 times for Christ to become my savior, and he never has, so I said, so who's lying, you or Christ, she kind of blinked and said, well, not me, oh, then Christ is lying, oh no, Christ can't lie, this time she said, what are you getting at, I said, I'm getting at this, he said, if you open the door, I'll come in, now you tell me you did that and you didn't come in, so who's lying, you or Christ, she can't say, I'm not, so Christ did, he didn't say, I'll come in and make you feel great, he didn't say, I'll come in and give you a mighty experience, he never said that, he just said, I'll come in, would you pray to him for a few times, thank him for coming in afterwards, and she did, and she got up off her knees and said, oh, so when they pray, all things whatsoever you should ask in prayer, believing you shall receive, believing you shall receive, all things whatever you desire when you pray, Mark 11, verse 24, receive them and you'll have them, your faith has to go that far, you pray and you believe, you may not see anything happen immediately, maybe not for months, maybe not for years, but stay with it, somebody asked George Mueller, if you ever gave up, she takes the place of the former friends you had, you don't drop all by myself, she still needs to know, what happens if you drop there, she has no idea how much money you have, she doesn't even know where you've invested your money, she doesn't have a clue, what is she going to do, you know you're going to die, you might die today, figure chapter three, husbands, knowledge, that is according to the knowledge we find in the Bible, wife has entered a weaker vessel, and listen to this, together, you're not being hindered if you're not treating your wife right, let her in, you know, he was a singer, he was a drunkard in Romania, and managed to escape out of there under communism, got to the States, he told God, as a drunkard, I feel guilty, United States of America, I'll become a Christian, and God got him to the United States of America, he became a Christian, he married a girl, and her father gave him $100 ,000 to take voice lessons, he went to Italy and studied voice, and became an opera singer, he was in meetings I had in Moody Church, they're all a bunch of fornicators and adulterers, and he said they're hooked up with the mafia in Italy, and I shouldn't have been in, I knew that, and God made it very clear, this night, and he never sang opera since then, he used to sing to crowds of 20 ,000, but I'm mentioning because, I was in his home, so he told me about his wife, he said she's the most wonderful gal in the world, he said we are partners, I tell her everything, she tells me everything, if I have help, need help, I go to her, she's my counselor, and I was in their home, and I could see it was wonderful, the kids had a tremendous effect on the kids, when they watched their mom and dad loving each other, Ephesians chapter 5, listen, I'll get to the woman in a moment, three times, you're to love your wife, now that's a mighty, then Galza said, he's a stupider, she was with me, and she had met with a lot of the gals, they were taking her here and there for coffee, and she said, you know Bill, it's terrible, all they could talk about was the rotten husbands they had, you sit with a dozen of these gals, they just take turns, talking about the rotten husband they had, she said, it got so bad, I got up and I blew my spoon, to these gals and walked out on them, I didn't believe it, is this common, I don't know, it's going on, and it may be fairly common, you should never do that, you're destroying your own marriage, and basically you're destroying your walk with God, so is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their husbands in everything, now he may make decisions that are not good, you can see that, he isn't going to be 100 perfect, but you have to let him lead, he'll take you into his confidence and discuss things, together, you don't do things on your own, you never forget, and Jeremiah 3 speaks about women dealing treacherously with their husbands, and finally I asked her, I have something to say to you that Jesus said, would you care to listen, so they just went up and died, so I told this story to her, and finally, he wasn't forgiven, he goes out on the street, he meets a guy, and so he threw him into jail, in a country where they still have jails today, you don't pay, you go to jail, well this guy had done 50 ,000, and you wouldn't forgive 5, you wicked sinner, this is the story for us today, I explained it to God, I said now listen carefully, the 50 ,000 represents your sins against almighty God, and the 5 represents your husband's sin against you, and God forgave you 50 ,000, and you wouldn't forgive 5, she looked startled, and I said what did Christ say to this guy, he said, and I pointed right here, you wicked sinner, he kept running and fell on his knees, before her, and she ran her hand through his hair, and it was all over him, we can't forgive, God has forgiven the whole jackpot, we can't forgive, something somebody did or said or didn't do, whatever, we're in trouble, all over the country people, and many Christians are like this, they can't forgive, you have to forgive, you don't really have a choice, Christ said when you stand in front, if you remember, that somebody has something against you, you should leave your gift, go and make things right, and come back, doesn't say if you have something, but it does say that somewhere else, in much gospel, you are standing, crying, and you remember, that something, someone you can't forgive, go and make things right, so it's a two way street, they may not forgive you, that's not your problem, that's their problem, they might even order you out of the house, that's ok, you did what God asked you to do, doesn't affect you, once you've done what God has asked you to do, men, women, married people, keep a sweet relationship, partner, and it will be hard for some, because so many men, it seems, they just have it, the way they've had it, they want it to stay, she ordered her husband out, the problem was, people who knew the guy well said, he was in control of anybody, everybody, he could, she just finally, she couldn't stand it, it was impossible to even live, she could hardly move a foot, without him telling her, how to stand, how to walk, everything, was under his control, she did right in divorce, she did, she could hardly even breathe, go back, so, together, of the grace of life, that your prayers, be not, hindered, Paul once said, we would have come unto reason, I Paul once again, but Satan hindered us, sometimes it's our own sins, that hinder us, Satan takes advantage of it, of course, we are to blame, set to blame before God, well you know, we have some, who set life, having some mental problems, and she was bringing, in a plate of food, and she walked up in the bathroom, standing in the bathroom, do not to despise your mother, when she's old, things like this may happen, to your parents, so, you're never to set, many people do that, Christian, B .C. said, hey dad, don't ask me, so for two weeks, they didn't take me anywhere, in Vancouver, in Winnipeg, where I live, and we've heard the same thing, from other people, we just lost our daughter, they've been very close, with their daughters, it may be, something along this line, that's got them away, clogging the pipes, and God sees it, he hated it, he knew what the Bible, said about it, he didn't know, where it came from, he never ever, dreamt of it even, that he wakes up one morning, and he has this strong, attraction to men, sexually, he was afraid, to tell the staff, or fear, that would kick him, out of the school, which they might have done, but Cecil Carter, a friend of mine, was ministering at the school, and the kid, went to him for help, now if you're dealing, with a kid, would you do it, the way Cecil did, when the kid, told him the story, he said to the kid, what is your attitude, to your mother and dad, and the kid said, what's that got to do with it, he said, just answer the question, oh, you know, honor your father and mother, it's the first man, with the promise, that it may be well with you, is it well with you, it's horrible to me, how can it be well with you, if you don't honor your father, but he's a scum, it doesn't say, a mother's an alcoholic, and she had to honor her parents, and she did, she didn't honor her son, to maintain, the relationship, she possibly could, anyway this young man, when Cecil was through with him, he went home, and it never returned, he checked him out, a year later, he was like this, only the guy, was an alcoholic, became a Christian, and for eight months, after he became a Christian, he was drunk, at least once a week, he prayed, and cried, and prayed, and cried, and had other people, pray and cry for him, and nothing happened, he couldn't break the alcohol, he was in some by means, in New Brunswick, and I quoted this verse, about drawing near to God, and he'll draw near to you, and from the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you, and God got through to him, and he had skipped bail, 22 years before, the police had been looking for him, for 22 years, he'd been hiding in small towns, over New Brunswick, my real problem is not the alcohol, my real problem is, I've never made things right, so he went to the police, gave himself up, made things right, the chief of police was away, when he walked in, the next to the charge said, David White, we've been looking for you, for 22 years, where have you been hiding, so he told me, why did you come here today, so he told me, the guy began to cry, and he said, you know, the Baptist preached, and he led me to Christ, a couple of years ago, but I fell off in the ditch, but you guys coming here today, I'm back on the Prince Highway, thanks for coming, he said, forget about the past, I'm going to wipe that old clean, so glad you came, woke up the next day, never had a drop of alcohol since, so he made things right, God's power came into his life, and often times, it's linked this way, we just have to be honest, before God, as honest as you can be, no hiding place, this is similar, of course, to Bible camp, shelf behind the door, the shelf behind the door, just tear it up, throw it out, so Jesus wants his temple clean, from the ceiling to the floor, he even wants that shelf removed, that's in behind the door, sometimes we have a little shelf, a little idol on it, watch it, watch your mind, thinking, God says, in Ecclesiastes, I think it's chapter 7, last verse, God made man up, I looked it up, in the Hebrew, and it meant, mental fabrication, a fabrication is a lie, it's a mental lie, so, of having sex with some beautiful gal, who just walked by, or some gal we know, or some guy, mental fabrication, and that was a problem just before the flood, right?

Of the thought that his heart was only evil, continually, you've got to watch them, even among Christians, entirely, in that kind of, the heart was only evil, continually, no standard, and some for other people, other than Christians, oh, you can't make it, you can't make it, and the death, some jury, didn't come back yet, I'm going to ask God to change the fire, so I did, and I really believed, and I prayed, I just thanked God, thank you, we are going to lose the tree, he said, suddenly it just stopped, and the wind switched around to the west, and rolled into the musket, going east, so people said, well that was just an accident, a coincidence, but people, you know, these coincidences, why is it, that so many of them, only happen, when you pray, Lord, like David, do as you say, have you got, some of you may have kids, that are not Christians, or some of you may have kids, that will not be Christians, what are you going to do, don't ever allow the devil, to have your kids, he may get them, but don't let him, keep that, before I conclude, you know my mother, my dad and my mother, didn't get along, they were both nice people, they loved us four boys, but they didn't love each other, and finally my mother, took off, there was a court case, and all of that, we don't have no mom, in the house, I got tired of eating, cabbage soup, my dad was no, no cook, you know, one day he said, I listened to a very, religious talk, she had gotten sick, she was not saved, in the meantime, she came home, years later, she told us this, she said, you know, I came home, on the first thing of the day, when I got home, I committed you four boys, and dad, to God, for salvation, you know what happened, nothing happened, for 14 years, none of us were saved, my oldest brother Don, was in his 20's, not a Christian, and one day the devil, got on my mom's back, and just told her, you want to give up, this faith, this praying stuff, it just doesn't work, it's 14 years now, and none of them are saved, none of them are going to be saved, she said, I threw the devil off my back, and I just kept praising God, for what he was going to do, finally, on the fourth one, I found Christ, three of the fourth ones, in the full time Christian work, my dad got saved, when he was 75, people, you got to persevere, Ephesians 6, 18, praying always, the offering, supplication, in the spirit, and watching there too, with all perseverance, for all things, perseverance, don't give up, the godly thing, the good thing, don't give up, for your children, pray them to the kingdom of God, don't leave them in the devil's hands, whatsoever you should, ask in prayer, believe me, all the God that hears prayer, come, John said, small, great, stand before God, another book was the Bible, thank you for your great love, in sending Jesus, Lord Jesus, it says, you endured the cross, thank you, for encouraging us, to follow you, God bless you, your faithful.
