Surrounded by a So Great a Cloud of Witnesses — Bill McLeod

My hearing is not the best, and I have a few amplifiers, which I've been worried about, but I took them off. I thought he had no kids. I thought he killed them. He never said a word. He even glared at me.

And most kids are so fragmented.

I've been speaking to you about it, that you'd like to share about it. And if he says they come, you can pass them and use them for his flora.

A year ago, I was a member of CRF, and now I'm here.

Praying for Pastor Emanuel and the Work of Ministry

It's lovely to hear honesty. I wonder if we might not do a couple of things. First of all, if two or three, we just pray for Pastor Emanuel. Emanuel Upiah is his name. And let's ask the Lord just to restore that person and to lead him in the building of that center.

We pray for our brother. We'll lead us in a short prayer, and we'll pray for one another. I give itchy feet. When Bill sometimes talks about his mother, saying, I went a whole month and I haven't led anybody to Christ.

That really gets to me. Same kind of thing. The burden for souls. The desire to see the rich for him. So maybe we should just pray for each other. One of the HeartCry conferences, Gordon MacDonald was preaching about Revelation says, or we sometimes quote it, as, I've lost my first love.

But Revelation actually says, I've left my first love. There's a big difference between the two, isn't there? Sometimes we don't believe it on purpose, but we believe it because things get in the way.

Busyness and other projects, all these things. So we should pray for one another before we wrap this session up. But let's just go to prayer, and would two or three people pray for Pastor Emanuel and just lift him to the throne of grace.

Prayer for Spiritual Fruit and Open Doors

Lord, give me a fresh new heart.

I ask you, O brother, that you will move these hearts in a fresh new way. That the fruit of the righteous will be like a tree of life. That when a soul is stolen, a breach of us will not be an overload, it won't be a duty.

We are overclosed. It will be something that happens, that fruit from the tree that comes forth, as he abides in you and as we abide in you. We all confess to you that there are no naturally gifted soldiers.

That it is your life that people must hasten, your fellowship in the sins. Pray for us here, brother. You will let him do all that he could in his heart, and God will open doors of utterness, that he might make known the mystery of the gospel, bold as he ought to speak.

You'll raise up around him a praying nucleus of people, people that have sinned and may not be afraid of this age. When we think of Moses, he didn't even start. Just bless this man, and may he know that all the signs are in your hands.

Thank you, Lord. Thank you for his heart for the lost. We are convicted, all of us, that we don't feel about lost people the way you do. So we've got to abide in you and let your word bring forth. Bless this man, may it be.

No longer his heart, remember, but your heart. No longer his burden, but your burden. May it be for each of us that it is well over us. For each of us. We're not used to it. Out of season as well as in season.

May we realize that we've missed it. So we repent, we trust you, we dare believe this is your will, help us to receive it for our brother and for us, that the life to us will be shared by the nature of truth.

A Passion for Souls and Sharing Christ

Father, there's something wonderful as you stir the embers in our hearts. And we're so grateful that you remind us by your servant. Just as we share one with another. General Elizabeth is walking with Jesus, knowing the work and the life of Jesus,.

Moving in us and through us.

Brother, and I pray for each one of us, would you grant this Father such a passion for souls that will flow out of reaching to others to share Christ with them. A passion that will not be content, that cannot be quieted, that cannot be pushed away by busyness, but that can only be satisfied as we see others.

I am in peace with you through our Lord Jesus. Continue in the ministry of your spirit to stir us here at the place of prayer. Some of us would have to confess that it has been a while since we lent someone to Jesus.

And this is a good place for us to deal with that. To come to the cross of freshness again. Continue to work with us in these moments. In Jesus' name we ask. Amen. And just turn to someone there close to you and say can I pray with you and pray for one another that the Lord would strengthen us even as he was stirring this passion in our hearts.

Taking the Gospel Burden Beyond the Conference

That we would not go away from here and forget it or lose it, but that we would go away from here. Bring in the desire of God during the gospel time. Let's take a few moments and then we'll certainly take our break.

Pray for one another even as the scriptures exhort us. That which is on your heart to the salvation of souls. This is a faithful saying that Christ Jesus came into the world. We are seeking your faith.

Let me work with you. Specific in prayer. Let each one of us lend someone to you in the next seven days. Be sensitive to your spirit, Lord. And we are sometimes to debate. These little offerings. We are grateful for all that you have spoken into our hearts.

Seeking More of Jesus Through the Conference

And to perform this message so clearly to us. Holy Spirit. After speaker. I am so often in these coming days to encourage one another in the things that we know of Jesus. Our brother Al what he knew is he will come in just a little while to once again open the word.

Open up our hearts. And reply to you Lord and ask fill us with the word of the Spirit of God. That this might not be just another conference. But that we might go home with something more of Jesus. And less of self.

We think of those great words of John the Baptist as he spoke about Jesus. He must increase us to know to apply that great truth. And use our brother wonderfully in the coming time. For your love. Your forgiveness.

Your grace. Your spirit. That enables and upholds. And strengthens and comes alongside. Get these my dear brothers and sisters in this room. And enable us Lord by your spirit to encourage one another.

In Jesus name we ask. To linger at the place of prayer. I'm not sure if our brother Ron has finished the session over there. But let's be sensitive. We can always wait for a coffee if they're not done.
