It's that time of year, love is in the air, but let's not forget the real definition of love.
According to 1 John 4, 16, God is love. Let's take a look. So, we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
Did you notice how John said know and believe? Of course, believing and knowing are equally important, but if we believe in God and we don't truly know him, how are we ever going to live for him?
Godly love is a true sign that a person is a genuine believer in Christ. We must believe in who
Christ is for our salvation and know him through obedience and through fellowship. So, let's show the world what genuine love looks like.
