Reading the Final Messages in Haggai

The Book of the Prophet came by, and there are the seven chapters, and they're going through from the first century to the end of the chapter. Just four verses in the beginning, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three.

Actually, we have only three verses because I've already timed the first century when we were looking up the next chapter that he bargained. And so, we just need to read it over, and then we'll get into the next.

Notice that out of the three verses we have left, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, that I marked seven headings on. Then, the Word of the Lord came unto Abraham in the fourth and twentieth day of the month, that is, the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month.

If you let your eyes go back to verse ten, because it was in the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Judaism, that he began to speak this first message. And then somewhere, about two days, the Lord gave him another message.

He was looking up the days and the prophet preached last year, and he found that he preached in the first chapter, preached again, and committed to the first chapter in the fourth and twentieth day of the sixth month.

Twenty-four days later, then the second chapter began in the tenth month, and then he found out that in the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month. And here we are again in the fourth and twentieth day of the month, the ninth month.

He didn't say a word. He must have been alone with God. And then on this particular day, of this particular month, he preached twice. It was just a mildness of that God's disclosure. He could either sit down and wait on the period moving, or he could teach twice in the one day, or more if God desired.

Zerubbabel and the Essential Lesson of God's Sovereignty

What the Lord said to him on the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month, the first twenty months, is, Preach to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah. Notice as you go by that his message is his last one.

It's for Zerubbabel, governor of Judah. And so it's been from the governor to them. That's exactly where I got the different wording from. And, of course, they divide into the two big subjects. Now, I want you to notice this first lesson.

It's the essential lesson that Zerubbabel has to learn. It is very essential that we learn that God is sovereign. You see, we've got to say it. Preach to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah. Saying, To the heavens and the earth, I will overthrow the throne of the kingdom.

I will be for the kingdom of the heathen. Notice the irony of that. It's dangerous, isn't it? To take with the sovereignty of God. It's good for us to know at all times, in terms of men. It's time to just lift our eyes beyond the clouds and the heavens.

Well done, son. Remember that. I'll have you together as a man. In an old time. Say to the mountains. I want you to get this. That when this day comes, this dreadful day, this horrible day, there'll be one smiling.

And it's only then we'll become a brother. And the sky, the sun, and the moon, and the stars, will be so true. That they'll lead you back to them. It's just like a star that led the right way. They will lead you back to this day every time.

God's Universal Power Over Kingdoms

They hover on this particular day. The day of the Lord. It's a period of 24 hours. It's a time. Let's give back to this little portion of us. Because we have looked at the essential lesson, and we have seen the property of God.

And we've looked at the universal lesson, and I thought you'd see the ability of God. God can shake the whole lot of us. He comes in the first place. He's the ruler. And he says, there's an old translation of that that says, I want to toss all the kingdoms down until the kingdoms become the kingdoms of the Lord and His Son.

Every knee will bow you. He'll deal with all the thrones. I know that there are a lot of them empty, but where they're empty, they've got a so-called president. And God will deal with the whole house of them.

I wouldn't allow him to choose the kingdoms, but I've seen one of them being dealt with. It's the history. And it's such a truth. The prophecy of the history, oh, it's such a truth. This is a very interesting one.

That's why I'm selecting this one. For I can find all the thrones being toppled on this particular day or period, the day of the Lord's wrath. Now, this is Ezekiel 32. That's one. And it means a part in the self-speech in the first month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me.

That is Ezekiel saying, Son of man, seek up a lamentation for Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Now, this is dealing with an Egyptian. I know the pharaoh Hamdan. Oh, but I also know that Nazareth is in his place.

He's the pharaoh of Egypt tonight. And you'll see he's a wonderful fellow. Now, what's more to say here? Son of man, seek up a lamentation for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art not a young lion of the nation, and thou art not a wheel in the sea, and thou shalt not force thy rivers and sub-rivers to waters that thy people follow their rivers.

Now, says the Lord God, I will therefore spread out my net over thee with the company of many people, and they shall bring thee up in my net. Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast these foes upon the open field, I will cause all the founts of the heavens to lean upon me, and I will fill the peaks and the whole earth with thee, and I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height, for if I harm thee as it is, I will also water the sides of the land where thou stoodest, in the middle of mountains, and the rivers shall be full of thee.

And then I shall push thee out, or then I shall block thee out, for that is it. I will stand at thy foot, and I will move in days, every day. Oh, you're getting another little picture now. It's not so much the universal that we like now.

God's Judgment on the Nations

It's the international scene. Well, God has an end for Egypt. Come into Egypt. Well, they like it a lot. They say it's nice. But it's so wonderful all that you have learned. It's so wonderfully blessed.

We've been on all phases. We're back in Hebron, and we're at the second chapter, and we're in the 20th chapter of the spiritual lesson that God suddenly has got. That universal lesson that we took the heavens and the earth, and we saw the ability of God.

And we were looking just now at this international lesson when he's dealing with all the thrones of every kingdom. And we saw the majesty of God for he's king of kings and lord of lords. And now, let's have a look at this one.

This is what I call the universal lesson. He says, verse 22 in the second phrase, I will of the kingdoms of the heathens, and I will of all the prophets, and those that ride the men, and the horses, and their riders, shall come down.

You know, this is a tremendous blessing of God. Here we see all the force and fury of God turned against the people of the kingdom. And God is dealing with the thrones of the heathens. You know, our God is going to shake this world one day, and then our God shakes it.

Not only will kings and lords get from the face of the earth in that day, this is known as the first time. But it sounds so wonderful to me about that. It's both a stage, revelation, and there are many things to know.

It's wonderful how these things join together, and it's very wonderful for me to notice how quickly he changes to the rule. You know, there's a day coming when God's going to really shake this world, and when God, oh, what will happen to full mankind.

Revelation's Trumpets and the Coming Tribulation

In each chapter, here we find the angels sounding trumpet in every family farm, checking things up on earth. You look at that cabin, it's the same function, isn't it? And the first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mingling with thunder.

And there were castles on the earth. And the third part of trees was burned down. And all this was the death of Jesus Christ, for he preached in the midst of the present, was afraid to expound his literary.

You have no trouble at all, in no way, that you can burn this world tonight, and do it now. But in the end, all trees, hardly, you know, they take an ocean. And there's a day coming when God's there, a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and a great part of the sea became blood, and a great part of the seagulls which were in the sea, and a great diet, and a great part of the sea.

There's nothing yet for the sea man, you know. And after a night it will be. And God, God in the head, bringing about expounding, it expounds itself now. It starts with many, pull out of the piles out there, there's a canal, there's a couple of subways, you can go all the way down if you want.

Then from there, the heavens. You know, it's time to entrust and to rule the world. And God, to rule the world. I'm looking after the fair, I'm big enough. So go to the fourth part there, I don't want to waste time, it'll be directed to later.

Verse 12, And the poor David has found that in the third part of the tongue, you write positive and are beautiful. I'd also tell you a part sometimes, you know, I've seen about it. Typically the same day, isn't it?

It won't happen twice, a few times, you know. It'll just happen once, and it's all for you, isn't it? You need to get to the next chapter, do you see what will happen to man? We're only looking at trees, and fish, and sheep, and tongue, and moon, and stars.

Here's the ninth chapter. Look at it down here. In verse 17, Verse 18,. Isn't time here? In the third part of men killed, by the fire, by the smoke, by the burning stone, we kick it out of their mouth.

Then shall they come in the third part, those in the twenty-one thousand in the bounds of night, seven thousand of whom will be dead. So let's get going. In verse 19,. And the apostle has found his paper, and what he knows, is that this is God's message.

The bark has turned to iron, the letter has got the connection. I will restore the throne of the kingdom, and I will become victorious. There's a rider there, and the horses, and the riders to come down.

I hear the books, and they must be read. Everyone by the sword is going to use me. He'll use many other things, but I know that he'll use the heavens. How couldn't it have gotten the atomic energy up to the earth?

The unparalleled, the most wonderful thing, is that God sent two men away up there to walk across those two things. That mighty instrument was the whole weight of the moon and land, the golden ring, the six of spikes, and six of new means.

And what this little mutter can do in this way, is it doesn't, but it doesn't mean this whole thing either. I'm going to look at Isaiah 15, just for the moment. I'm just trying to give you little snippets to go on with, so that you'll catch this properly.

Isaiah 13 and the Day of the Lord's Wrath

Just to get this little connection. Isaiah 13, verse 6, He reads, For the day of the Lord and it will come out of destruction from the Almighty. And it certainly will. Their heads are all hands, they think, and every man's heart shall melt.

That's why I'm not afraid to put my weight up against the clock that beats the face of the clock. That's what I'm sure this is going to be. Take hold of them, and it shall be enough. They'll take you to the springs.

Behold, the day of the Lord will come to you, and go. So lay your arms, that's the single point of it. Now that's all. I'll tell you what the day is. It's what we call the Great Tribulation. The day of God's wrath.

The day of the Lord's wrath. It will come out into your head. God, by His providence, is in front of you. He's right there for you. Now you throw these things to rest. Now I'm very sick. I will overthrow.

I will destroy. That's the sovereignty of God. You saw that universal lesson of King of Heavens and the Earth. That's just the ability of God. The lesson when He will deal with the throne of the Majesty.

And you saw that universal lesson when He dealt with mankind. That is the philosophy of God. I will destroy the face of the earth. And this was the exotical lesson teaching us that God will use the face of the throne.

Zerubbabel as God's Chosen Signet

Now this is the day He wants to take it down to the top. With the judgment of Him now. He says, only at the last day. Only at the last day. It's such a very imposter stage, you know. You do know, you're not revolution.

It's not your ability, are you? It's gotten into the rule of the law. God can't have them do it. Bringing all of the bowls, tables, and benches and it's gotten into the rule of the law. It's the rule of the law.

I want you to know who I am. God, I'll look after you. With the heavens and the earth and the thrones and the land. Because this is a beautiful... In that day, says the Lord of hosts, will I teach thee, O Sir Rupert Burr, my servant, that thou shalt build a house and will meet thee as a pigeon.

When we come to the dispensation of the land, the pigeon shall be a pigeon. Now we know that when Rupert Burr went to that day, Rupert Burr was the governor of Judah. And that happens to be one of the titles of our Lord Jesus.

And that makes Sir Rupert Burr a pigeon. Now if you'd like to have a look at it there, do you see it? It says, verse 21, speak to Sir Rupert Burr and I'll write the next word. Governor! That's what he is.

He's the governor. Governor! Now then, Michael was not the same. Michael was used to guarding the blockade. And once he came to Bethlehem, and I think he must have stood on the hills around Bethlehem, because Bob and I were on the hills of Bethlehem one day.

The Ruler of Judah and the Birth of Christ

And he must have looked down and said, Down Bethlehem thousands of Judah. Well, listen, there's actually lots to be mastered too, isn't there? Have a look at it just to make sure for the younger ones.

It's always good to send a little book on your thoughts better than I do. It is marked you've got to do. You know, coming for me to Jerusalem saying in verse 2, Where is he that is born King of the Jews?

And then, Herod the king heard them talk, and he gathered the chief priests and scribes together and demanded of them that Christ should be born. And they said unto him, they used the scriptures all right, in the name of Judah, for it was written by the prophets and they thought it might as well what the love was.

And God answered him in the name of Judah, Ask not the least among the priests of Judah, for out of these thou canst force a devil. That shall be a true mighty law. That's what we've got now. The devil is only a picture.

He's only a picture and God is using him as a picture. I'll just let you see it happening and then you'll know that I'm not going off the rails. I'm after lots of them here. I like to taunt them and they don't leave them any room to get in on this.

I keep them out of it. I hit them along the couches praying every night of the day. Oh yes. Now let's go to Bethlehem. We're at Shebai. And the next we'll go to Bethlehem. And this is very thrilling we thought.

Zechariah's Vision of the Day of the Lord

That's the 13th end of the book. I want you to watch the praise that we're at because it's a dissipation and lesson we're learning. Two hearts became one above and below. I'm way attached to too many.

It says from Paul of Philistria which is the Lord which takes us all to heaven and there's the foundation of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him whether the rock or the then we're in the chapter 13 end of that day and then verse 2 chapter 13 it shall come to pass end of that day and this was all down through chapter 13 and in verse 14 on the day of the Lord comes.

The Lord shall be in the midst of thee for I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle and the cities shall be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravaged and the residues of the people shall not be taken from the city.

Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations as they were caught in the dead by God on his feet shall stand upon the mountains of the earth and shall not from of the dead by on his feet shall not be taken from the earth shall not be from the mountains of the earth and shall not taken by God on his feet shall not be taken from the earth.

Closing Prayer for Faithfulness and the Lord's Return

And so we have written the letter, and we will follow this through next week, Tuesday, in the line of fire. God bless you, let's continue. We thank you for thy words. You put in walls, and we haven't been touching walls.

And some of us have had violence for years, and we've never heard these phrases until tonight. Oh God forgive us. Lord, we thank thee for what God has placed at the root of all our faith, and how wonderfully thou didst do it.

And so after a week of our time throughout the day, we thank you that he's the God of us. Thank you that he's the angel. Thank you that he's the Saviour. Lord, thank you for these things. Let me know these things.

None of us have seen, or seem to be, a holy conversation with God. For there's literally, to the cave of silence, for us to walk under, for us to serve thee with open arms, and with Godly feet, knowing that the coming of the Lord is close by.

Father, in our fear, look on us for the answer.
