Sunday is the holy scriptures and biblical inerrancy. So the word

Bible simply means book. So the holy scriptures have been combined into one book, 66 individual letters written by over 40 different authors over the course of about 1500 years.

The Bible says about itself in second Timothy three, 16, that all scripture is inspired by God.

That is, it is God breathed or holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the holy spirit.

As the apostle Peter put it in second Peter one, 20 and 21.

So because of this, we believe the holy scriptures are both inerrant and infallible in the original writings or the autographs as they are often called.

So it would be unwise, I believe to ascribe absolute perfection to any single translation.

But with that said, we believe that every word of God has been preserved in Matthew five, 18 and Luke 16, 17,

Jesus affirmed the preservation of scripture. How not one jot or tittle, or as we might say, the dotting of an eye or a crossing of the

T, not one of those things will pass away. And finally, Jesus said about the scripture and Matthew four, four, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
