Do Not Despise Life (6th Commandment) — Law Homily
The Sixth Commandment forbids more than murder; it calls us to preserve life in our hearts, words, habits, and care for our neighbors. In Christ, we repent of anger, contempt, cruelty, neglect, and self-destruction, and receive mercy from the One who was killed for murderers so that we might become a people who choose life.
