God So Loved the World — Keith Daniel

Thank you, Matthew and Seth, for that special number. We're honored to have Evangelist Keith Daniel with us here tonight. We've been blessed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Thursday when he rode home with us, and our hearts were encouraged by meeting this brother.

We're going to ask him to come and minister the word of God once again. Thank you for the messages that he's preached and the sacrifices that he's made to come and help us here in this little corner of the mountain, and certainly we believe that his labor has not been in vain.

I hope you'll be blessed tonight as our brother ministers once again the word of God to your hearts. The Lord bless you.

Thank you, thank you. Sorry, brother. Do you mind if I don't have a jacket on tonight? Do you mind if I don't wear my jacket? You just make yourself at home. It's a bit warm. You weren't supposed to hear that.

I was going to whisper, bless you. I got a bit warm this morning, so I thought I don't want to stand here and sweating and you all start worrying about me staying alive. Will he die before the end? So I thought I better not do it tonight.

There you are. Thank you sincerely. I thank you for all of those who did put your name and address down. I don't know if I even said this to you, but I've been in a place called Plains in Montana. Had lovely times there with godly people.

And then Vinton in Virginia. Oh no, I went to Cody in Wyoming. That's after wild bull hiccough and buffalo bill. Well, if you know who they are, we heard about them in Hollywood's version of Cowboys and Crooks when I was unsaved, okay?

And so there's town Buffalo Bill built in Wyoming. There's the actual buildings he established. There you are. I don't suppose any of you ever been to a movie in your lives. Anyway, I did until God saved me.

Anyway, I remember Buffalo Bill. Cody, Cody, Bill, that's a, anyway, they turn around in the old films and there was about 100 Indians and he turned and shot one bullet, boom, and about 50 fell down dead, pow.

And we believed it. Well, Hollywood does that. Nonetheless, we went to Cody after Plains in Montana, then Vinton in Virginia, and then Shipswana in Indiana, and now you, Laurel, Mount, Chapel, Rockwood, Pennsylvania.

And then I'm going tomorrow to Missouri to speak in Springfield in a Baptist convention that they hold annually. My wife dresses the ladies in the morning. My son dresses the men and boys every year for many, many years now.

And people come from many, many states all over, flying from far and coming in cars. And so we bless the Lord. And then I leave there. My wife and I go to Rhinelander, Wisconsin. She dresses the ladies in the day and then they have this big meal hall and people come from near and far.

And then I'm in the night from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And then Sion, Sion, Wyoming. It's another one on the other side of Wyoming. Been there many times, godly people. Columbia Falls, Montana, what a beautiful place.

Oh, Kalispell. Then New Plymouth, Idaho. Burnett, Texas, that's a theological seminar with godly young men, mostly. Oh, I'm very blessed with those dear people. What a lovely, godly principle they have.

And they've been such a blessing to go and speak a couple of times a day to every year. And then Chicago, IBLP ATI. They have a live viewing there when they want me to preach a couple of messages a day for three days.

And then Milwaukee in Wisconsin. Then Houston, Texas, lovely people. Wimoma, Wimoma, Florida. I used to go to Tampa, Florida. Hmm, okay. And then Sand Creek, Wisconsin. And that's 12 weeks of preaching.

Every fourth day flying to the next state. Please take a copy. There are copies if you'd like to just pray for me. I'd be so grateful. I am really very grateful. We put this out three times a year and with about three, four months of our itinerary so people can pray soberly and intelligently about where we are.

You're only a prayer away. The other side of the world and God's answering your prayer just because of these newsletters. And most people that contact us from all over the world say we pray daily for you because we know what to pray for where you are.

Thank you. I am really very grateful. We had fellowship with their children, three daughters I think and the sons-in-law. Seth and the pianist who plays like an orchestra. It's like a symphony orchestra going on, isn't it wonderful?

I get blessed when someone is truly gifted and gives it to God and the Holy Ghost sanctifies it. And it comes from the soul for the glory of God and the uplifting of the hearts of the saints. There's something about the whole being, permeating prayer and everything he's got in the ministry that God gave him.

So bless the Lord for this good man. And also for his sons, I believe one has gone to Pepsi Cola. It sounds so much like Pepsi Cola, Pensi Cola. Yes, well, that's a Bible school or a theological seminar.

I'm not too sure, what is it? Is it a theological seminar where you get academically prepared to preach for the ministry? Where's the daddy of Nathan who is now brother, he's gonna be a preacher, is that right?

Good, that's what's in his heart. We'd have to pray that God leads him to the right place. It won't break him and destroy him in these days if he's a faithful. I'm talking about evangelical churches. But he goes to godly people who will encourage him and carry him, even if he makes mistakes.

Because when you first start, you've got a lot of fire, but not much wisdom. And that's me when I started, oh my. But because I had fire, you see, the only unforgivable thing about a young preacher who's saved is if he isn't on fire, full of fire.

You don't have to have much wisdom. Whoa, I made mistakes, but nobody told me. They just didn't throw because I had fire. You have to learn, you can't carry on making mistakes. They'd soon condemn you and bury you.

But so long as he's got fire, you see, as we all start, shall we bless the Lord for this young man, Nathan, and for all the children of this lovely family, all the grandchildren, we bless the dear Lord for them.

Praise the Lord for these. Ah, Seth, was his name just Joshua? Who's the other brothers who sang tonight? Tell me their names. Matt and Seth, Mattis, or what is Matt for? Matthew, of course. Okay, Matthew and Seth.

Good to have brothers together singing like that. What wonderful and, oh, I mustn't. You know, this is encouragement, not flattery. The great difference. And sometimes encouragement is a ministry we need desperately.

Most people left the pulpits around the world of God for lack of encouragement. They got condemnation, whoa, the smallest error. Ask God to give you a ministry of encouragement. It's the most desperately needed ministry in the world today in evangelical circles where people are trying.

Well, my wife says when you're tired, you just divert to everywhere, you see? So there he only is coming now, so he doesn't know all the good things I've just said about him. So there he was, he won't be flattered.

Good boy. And all the other ones, Ricky, Ticky, Troy, Troy. And his little brother, William the Conqueror. No, he's not William the Conqueror. William, whoa, he's got some polluted names. He must have come from the highest aristocracy in England.

William who? Give me the other names. You have to speak loud and fast or we call you to stand up, you know? William Walter Roberts. There they stand and their daughter that wears old-fashioned hats. Hmm.

My wife says, why do you have to embarrass everybody? I said, well, I don't mean to. Anyway, she's not here tonight, so I can embarrass her, you see, and get away with it. Now I'm thanking Vanda, all the sisters, the three sisters, I had lunch today.

Brother, sister, if you haven't had lunch at these dear people's place, you don't know what you've missed. That lunch, dear lady, was so magnificent that I'm going to have to take a long time to not recover, but to forget.

Oh, it was wonderful. The mashed potatoes and it was so creamy and the gravy and oh my, the chicken and there's the spicy stuff, the stuffing. Oh, when we had chicken, when I was a boy, we would always try and sneak in and if the chicken was open, my mother used to put this rich stuffing inside, I would always try the stuffing first.

Oh, that's wonderful. We had the most wonderful meal today and it ended when I had kept them waiting so long. I think they were all desperate for me to finish because I take a long time, 32 times, you know?

I had an uncle that used to chew 34 times before he swallowed and I know it was terrible for everyone to endure, longing for him to get the last bit in his mouth, but anyway, he died, but anyway, we won't talk about that.

He was South African champion, you see, he wasn't saved in sports, he's in the Guinness Book of Records, but he was a health fanatic. But we had a wonderful meal, thank you from my heart. Thank you sincerely to everyone, the young men who sang, the clarinet lady who plays from her soul as a calling from God and a commission from God to be everything she can with that little clarinet and the piano and the organ and the singing.

Thank you from my heart for everything, every kindness, bringing me here, Seth and Wanda, is it Wanda? And I think they heard messages of mine, I don't know, on the internet or something, or YouTube, I'm not too sure, that led to all this happening, that I could come here, not crowds, that doesn't matter.

God wonderfully honored me bringing me here and I'm conscious of that, thank you from my heart. Now, I didn't chase everyone away this morning, they told me that quite a lot had to travel, so that's why they're not here today, okay, tonight.

So don't worry, it isn't that I chased them away, I hope. Otherwise, shame on them for not, oh, anyway, we won't start condemning people. Now, we're going to have a prayer. Salvation, Intercession, and the Work of Christ

Thank you from my heart. Now, let's bow in a moment of prayer, please, before God, who so loved us He died, that you would not have to face condemnation because of the fall of man through Satan. Lord, we thank Thee for the salvation which is in Christ.

Thank Thee for our Savior above every single thing, nothing could come to our mind more swiftly than Jesus. Thank Thee for Thy Son and for the gift of eternal life, the forgiveness of sins. Thank You that He is risen and that He ever liveth to make intercession for us, whereby He's able to save them to the uttermost, to come to God through Him.

We bless Thee for our Savior, His death, His resurrection, His ascension, and that He stands at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us as a high priest. We bless Thee for Him and we longing to see Him face to face more than anything else in life and to worship Him who died for us.

And so, in Thy mercy, wash me in the blood of Christ afresh, fill me with the Holy Spirit. Beyond my comprehension how God could do that, or why? To such an unworthy man as me, but I believe because of the blood of Christ, God is able to fill with the Holy Spirit, to anoint, to unctionize, and to speak through that man in no uncertain way.

And so, Father, protect us from our enemy Satan and all the demons that followed him when he was cast out of heaven and his tail swept a third of the stars, a third of the angels of heaven, who are now desperate demons.

We bless Thee for the protection that we have under the blood of Christ. Let there be a hedge around us, Lord, to protect us, and brood over this building by the Holy Spirit and the risen, resurrected power of Christ.

And visit us by Thy Spirit to our hearts. Come and visit and speak, Lord, as only God can speak. For we ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, and for His glory, amen.

John 3:16 and the Gift of the Only Begotten Son

God so loved, God so loved, so loved the world, the world, that He gave, He gave, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Tragedy at Cape Point

I was in a restaurant a good number of years ago now waiting for people, and I had a cup of tea or something with the newspaper, the local newspaper. And I was staggered when I saw a headline in that newspaper on the front page that made my heart just sink, of a man who had faced a great tragedy a few days previously.

You see, this man had taken his little son to the Cape Point of Africa, where I live. The majestic mountains are incomprehensible. People and their millions come to see our city, which is supposed to be the most beautiful city on earth, a round table mountain.

But here is the Cape Point where the Atlantic Ocean, freezing, and the Indian Ocean warm, meet. At the tip of Africa, here's a boot. Here at the toe is Cape Town, where the two oceans meet. And that's why there's such rugged mountains that are unbelievably beautiful, stretching high into the sky in a way that you can't believe the height.

And now cities surrounds that whole mountain. Takes you hours to get through the city just because it's around this magnificent mountains at the tip of Africa. Now, this man had come to Cape Town, sightseeing and enjoying with his little boy.

And at the Cape Point itself, which is not right in the heart of the city, but right out, very beautiful, unbelievably beautiful. Every cove is just something of excitement. You can't believe the beauty.

And he ventured onto rock formations that go out into the sea, a kilometer, half a mile. You can't believe the rock formations, that the sea and its ruggedness, this Cape of Storms, the Cape of Good Hope, but the most beautiful cape in the whole world.

Jan van Riebeeck said, and Bartholomew Dias, Vasco de Goa. These men couldn't believe the beauty. But anyway, it's a Cape of Storms. Oh, the shipwrecks all around. You just see them. Centuries of ships blown in by the wind.

Now, this man tragically hadn't read the signboards all around every single cove to protect people because many, many people have died on those rocks, oblivious that the tide at the cape point doesn't come in like other places where just the waves go higher and a bit further, you know.

Coming in, it's just a swell. Many times, just one big, massive swell just starts coming and covers those rocks that are high and dry, double the height of this roof. You see, they venture out. Now, he hadn't looked at the signboards.

Why people don't see the warnings, I don't know. Because so many had been washed to death who were oblivious of the tides, especially spring tide. Just comes like one massive covering what's high and dry.

So he's with his little boy, and he's venturing out up and down these rugged rocks, the pools high and dry up there when the tide's in. There's little fish up there. And you look down as you go out and out and out, and it's deep.

Whales, whole whales just swoon next to you down there, looking up at you, all the water. Often, I've seen the whales. Now, he's venturing out, and he's excited. His little boy's excited. And they go and go up and down that, laughing and enjoying it.

Oh, daddy, daddy, look at all. Eventually, when he's far out, suddenly, to his horror, he couldn't believe what was, just a swell coming within seconds, just taking him, his little boy, just washing them, smashing them against the rock, smashing, he's got all of his son screaming in fright that he's screaming.

And his son holding on, daddy, please, daddy, don't let me, as this wave, this swell, just washing, smashing him. He's held on, his whole arm was nearly ripped off, they say. In spite of that, he held on to this one rock, and he held on to his son with the other hand in agony, excruciating pain, but he held on to his boy.

But he looked up, and there, he couldn't believe it, another swell just mercilessly rising up, greater than the first. He didn't know what he was gonna do, but the desperation as he's screaming at the thought of his son being ripped from his hand, and oh, this boy screaming as the swell came and came, daddy, daddy, don't let me go.

Suddenly, the swell was so great that his son was ripped from his hand, and he said he saw that little body disappear. They never found that body. Oh, my heart broke. I found out that I knew that man.

I'd known him since a little boy. His father was a missionary. But listen carefully, beloved. As the great swell of all humanity's sin rose up in terrifying judgment against Jesus, it was so great, it was so great that God was forced, God the Father was forced to forsake his son, forcing him to cry out in his humanity, my God, my God, why has thou forsaken me?

Christ’s Substitutionary Death and the Justice of God

Why has thou forsaken me? Why? Why? Oh, beloved, that's a question. That is a staggering question that this holy book answers again and again to our hearts. Why? In God's book, we get God's answer. He gave his only begotten son, John 3 .16, that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man.

Hebrews 2, verse nine, that he, by the grace of God, should taste death, literally face death for every man. The Lord had laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53, verse six says, staggering words, beloved, that he might be just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus the Christ.

Romans 3, verse 26, that he might be just, who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree. 1 Peter 2, verse four, he was made to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Not having mine own righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness of God by faith, to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly.

His faith is counted to him for righteousness. God makes us righteous. That we might be made the righteousness of God in him, by faith, God says, that he might be just and the justifier of him, which believeth in Jesus.

Christ as the Propitiation for the Sins of the World

Oh, beloved, he is the propitiation, John says, the way to God for mercy. From Leviticus 16, where the high priest sprinkled once a year the blood on the oak. He is that. He is the propitiation through his blood for our sins, Christian, not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

I love that. Miss that and you're in trouble. 1 Timothy 4,. 1 Timothy 2, 4, who will have all men to be saved, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.

Beloved, don't ever miss the word all, because then you are doing damage in the pulpit, not winning people. Be careful. He is the propitiation for our sins, not for the sins of the whole world. His blood was shed.

Oh, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth, who gave himself a ransom for all. I believe that with all my heart. I believe that with all my heart. Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that have passed.

Romans 3 verse 25. It's faith in what he did in that cross. His blood was shed. He hath made him to be sinned. Now that is beyond my comprehension and yours. He has made him to be sinned in God's eyes for us who knew no sin.

He knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Staggering words, beloved. Many great injustices have happened in this world. Many great injustices have happened when it comes to judgment being proclaimed on murderers.

Many great injustices have happened when it comes to judgment being proclaimed on murderers. Men who faced the death sentence and then after they were put to death for murder, further evidence came to light and it was found that it was not them.

They were not guilty. This has happened in my lifetime in our country so many times, it's unbelievable. Where the death penalty was still so upheld until the apartheid regime went. Many, after they had faced the death sentence, further evidence came, further light that showed that they were not the guilty party.

Men were hung. Oh, what a horror. It must be for a man to be treated like a murderer. And he knows in his heart as he faces death for a crime that he had not committed must be something incredible and atrocious.

But listen, listen carefully. Here tonight, friend, I know of a man who was judged for many things he did not do. He was punished and suffered the judgment of other people's crimes. He faced the death penalty for murders he had not committed, for rapes he had not performed, for thefts he had not committed, for lies he had not told, for many great evils he had not done.

He died, the Bible says, the just for the unjust. But Zion says he was wounded for our transgression. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him with his stripes. We are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray. We've turned every one to his own way and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all, all. God judged his son for you and me. God judged his son for you, sir, but you must accept that gift of eternal life by faith.

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

For by grace are you saved through faith. You have to accept that gift. In 1830, in the United States of America, a man named George Wilson was sentenced to be hung. In 1830, in the United States, a man named George Wilson was sentenced to be hung for robbery and murder.

But then Andrew Jackson, the president of America at that time granted him a pardon, a presidential pardon. Well, that happens all over the world. In my country, many times, as people looked at the circumstances, the background of a man, the president overrode the high court's judgment and pardoned him.

He could go over the high court judge of our country and many countries and give a presidential pardon as one considered his background and circumstances Andrew Jackson, the president of America granted him a pardon, but he shook the nation and refused to accept it.

He insisted that unless he accepts it, he cannot be pardoned, no matter who offers his pardon. Now, the attorney general eventually said, the law is silent on this matter. And he referred it to the Supreme Court in America.

Chief Justice Marshall, the highest judge in the land at that time gave the following decision. A pardon is only a piece of paper, the value of which depends fully on its acceptance by the person implicated.

I want to repeat that. A pardon is only a piece of paper, the value of which depends fully on its acceptance by the person implicated. It is hardly to be supposed, he said, that one under sentence of death would refuse to accept such an offer.

But if it is refused, it is no longer a pardon of any value, no matter who granted it. And offered it. George Wilson must therefore be hung and face death for the crimes he's committed. Justice demands it.

Even though he was offered complete pardon, he rejected it. He rejected it. Have you, sitting here, when you all look like you were born in a church, to bring such a message to such a people? God offered it.

We must accept that gift of eternal life. That costs everything, you know. People say it's free. No, no ways. It's free, it's possible to be pardoned, but to come to God in repentance and accept forgiveness for eternity from every sin you've ever committed means turning away from those sins.

But you have to come. Justice demands the punishment of eternal damnation and hellfire if it is rejected and not received by faith and accepted in a way that heaven cannot say no. He will in no wise turn away anyone who comes to him through Christ Jesus.

That's a staggering verse. Wesley said these words. He cannot. You say it's sacrilegious to say that of God, no. But how could Christ have died for men? When they come to accept eternal forgiveness, turn them away.

He will in no wise, God promises, turn away anyone. For he tastes the death for every man. I believe with my heart. And the day I don't believe that, I'm going to stop preaching. When did you come? By faith.

George Wilson, you face because of justice demanding it. Though Christ died for you. Eternal hell and damnation. Which is God's justice, though he died. Can we stand, please? God, take this message. And to anyone in this building that has not truly been saved, has not received by faith with all their heart and soul and might, the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

The Consequences of Rejecting Salvation

Wages of sinner's death, the just reward of unrepentant sin once you hear about Christ, is eternal death, not physical death. In that context of that verse. May the smoke of their torment ascend up forever and ever.

He will return in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord from the glory of his power.

A Final Call to Reconciliation with God

Oh, God help these people not to reject by simply doing nothing when God died for them and waits for them to come. Otherwise they face eternal damnation. In Jesus Christ's name, help them to seek thee.

In Jesus Christ's name, take the Christians of this building. Help them to be driven by the compassion of the Holy Ghost to every soul Christ died for. And as though God did beseech you by us, we pray you in Christ's name be reconciled to God.

We have the right to do that. To go out into the highways and as many as they found to bring. Get ready, prepare yourself. Lord Jesus Christ thou shall be saved. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Oh, God help us as Christians to be driven by the Holy Ghost, not our own strength, with the love of God. And God's love is Christ and his cross. In Jesus Christ's name, amen. Now, beloved stay, remain standing.

God bless you from my heart for the rest of your lives. I said that to a very old man who was the head of the biggest missing society on earth. He's dead now. Godly man. God bless you, sir. And he turned around and shocked me and everybody else and he shouted at me.

He will! Don't doubt that! Everybody. And then he turned around and he says, do you want to know why, Keith? Because I let him. God bless you. And he will, if and when you allow him. You need to be saved, come and sit in the front row.

A lady will pray with a lady, a man, a man. If you're not saved and you walk out of that door, shame on you. Shame on you.
