The Call to Hear the Gospel

Good evening everybody. My name is Zach. I'm a Christian. I'm a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I'm out here with my brothers and sisters. We're out here because we care about you. We're out here because we truly love our neighbor.

That's what Jesus Christ has called us to do and commanded us to do in his scriptures. To love the Lord our God with all of our heart mind and soul and strength and to love our neighbor as ourself. So if you have ears to hear tonight.

We would ask you to hear understand the message of Christ the most important message that you can ever hear or receive. It's coming your way tonight. I pray out with all my heart that you would open up your ears and that God would grant you Grant you faith and grant you repentance tonight.

Salvation by Grace Alone Through Faith Alone in Christ Alone

Listen to me very clearly the gospel the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ is this that there is salvation in one and One only and that's the only begotten Son of God. That salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

He is the way He is the truth and he is the life and no one can come to the father, but by way of him. There's not many roads that lead to God. There's not many religions that lead to God actually is no religion at all.

The only door is the door of Christ Jesus himself that we are saved from our crimes against God. We are saved from the the guilt of our sins based only on the work of Jesus Christ in him alone. The most important thing in your life is not the way that you look.

It's not the relationships that you have. It's not the size of your bank account. It's whether or not that you've been made right with God based upon the perfect life in the death of Jesus Christ. The most important thing that you can hear on the day of your death is not guilty.

Before the God that you will stand before. See the truth is is that everybody believes in God? There exists no Agnostics there exists no atheists at all. We might profess not to believe in the God who created us.

But what we do is we do believe in him. We just suppress that belief in our own unrighteousness. Because we love ourselves. We love our sin more than the God that created each and every one of us and understand this.

That you were created by God. There is no other logical explanation other than the fact that a loving God a merciful gracious good God He created you For his own glory. He didn't come from random chance processes.

We didn't come from a primordial Pond of ooze. We're not just molecules in motion, but we are created by God. We are created by Jesus Christ Himself he is the creator of all of us and the Bible says it is once for a man to die.

And then we will face God our creator the Lord Jesus Christ in judgment. There is a judgment day coming for each and every single one of us. We don't know when that day will be but that's an appointment every single one of us will keep.

I don't know when you're gonna Die could be today could be tomorrow two months two years. 150 ,000 people passed into eternity every single day. That is why we come out here and look like fools in front of people because we don't know when it will be your appointed.

Time to stand before the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords understand that Jesus is King. Jesus is creator that he is the Lord of Lords and there is life and there is hope in him. And that's the message of the goodness of the gospel that you can be made right before God.

The Sinless Life and Substitutionary Death of Jesus Christ

Based upon the good works of Jesus Christ many people believe that they will go to heaven. They'd be made right with God based upon their own good works, but the Bible says there is no one good. But God no salvation is not based upon our own efforts.

Salvation is based upon the effort of one God man the perfect God man perfectly human and perfectly God and That is Jesus Christ himself. He is our only way. He is our only Savior. He is the only way that we can have peace with God.

He is the only way that you can be restored to a relationship with God because this is the news. That everyone is dead in their sins that everyone is dead Spiritually that because of our sin we are distanced from God.

The Bible says that our sin has made us distant with God. It has separated us from him. But God did not leave us in our own Sinfulness. God did not leave us in our own misery. God by his grace and mercy.

2 ,000 years ago. Sin is one and only begotten Son. The Lord Jesus Christ. What Jesus did for 33 years of his earthly existence is he lifted lived a perfect law abiding life that we could never live. But that God requires of us.

Jesus was the sinless spotless lamb of God who did not sin in any way shape or form. That there was no sin found within him. Not even a thought not even a word no sinful action. Jesus was the only perfect man.

He lived that perfect life because we can't do it. The Bible says for all of us to have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God that we don't come out here as Christians professing any sinless perfectionism.

No, that would be self-righteous.

No.

What we do is we point you to the sinless perfection of one man and that is Jesus. So Jesus did live live 33 years God upon the earth the manual God with us in Perfect obedience to the father. He said I do nothing other than what the father has told me to do.

And then what else did Jesus do he died the worst of deaths the death that he did not deserve. Jesus died upon a Roman cross. And that was a capital punishment reserved for the worst of criminals. Jesus went to the cross.

Can you imagine the love and the height of grace of God that Jesus would come? God himself would be clothed in humanity. God himself would become a baby in the manger and then God himself would climb up on a brutal Roman cross.

And receive the penalty in himself for sins that he did not deserve. That is the great message of the good news of the gospel that you can be Reconciled with God as you would turn from your sin and put your faith in Jesus Christ in him alone.

Judgment, Hell, and the Call to Repent

And that is what we are calling you to do because we will stand before God. We will stand before the judge of the earth. The Bible says God has fixed a day when he will judge this world in righteous then.

Righteousness and that by the man Christ Jesus. The Bible says that we will be judged and we will be held accountable for every word and every thought. That on that day of judgment, we're not going to be held accountable to our own standards.

Many people believe they'll stand before God and you will stand before God. And that he will judge you based upon your own self-perceived good works, but there is no one good and we cannot save ourselves.

That there is no hope for heaven. There is no hope for peace. There is no hope for reconciliation with God. Outside of what Jesus Christ has done in him alone. So when you stand before God, you're either going to be clothed in your own sin.

You're either going to be found as a guilty criminal before him and that punishment for criminals is an eternity in hell. But we don't want that for you, right? We don't want you to spend an everlasting punitive judgment where the Bible says.

That there's weeping and gnashing of teeth. But that is the destination for all those who continue to harden their heart and reject to the God of the Bible. That's that is the eternal destination of all those who continue to spurn and harden their heart towards the things of Christ the gospel.

The Bible says obey the gospel. We pray with all of our hearts that you would do that today. If you have ears to hear and eyes to see we pray that God would open up your heart. That he would grant you faith that he would grant you repentance and you would turn to the Lord Jesus Christ turning from your sin and Turning to him that is the response.

That is the command God commands us because he is the king and he is the he is the rightful one. He is the one that has that right? To command of his creation what we should do. Response to the good news of the gospel is turn turn from your sin and turn to Jesus Christ run to Jesus Christ tonight.

If God gives you the faith and the ability to do that. The good news of the gospel is good news. The good news of the gospel is that there is salvation in one man and that is the man Christ Jesus that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

Street Preaching, False Gospels, and the Creator God

We're out here lifting up our voices. We are out here Loudly proclaiming the good news the gospel because that which that's what Jesus Christ commanded us to do. The Bible says go in all the all the world and proclaim the good news of the gospel when Jesus Christ came.

This is what he did. He went to the public square. He went to the marketplace. He lifted up his voice with words of life. That is what the gospel is. It's a message of peace. It's a message of grace. It's a message of mercy and that's what we're here to proclaim to you.

We're out here to represent the true Jesus Christ the one and only Christ Jesus The creator of all things revealed to us in the Bible. Jesus said to beware that there will be many who mislead you there will be many that preach a Christ there.

There'll be many that leads you to a supposed Savior but there is only one and that is the Christ of the Bible if you belong to the LDS Church the Mormon Church. We beg you to turn from this place that this that's a Christ Jesus that the quote-unquote Gospel that the Mormon Church preaches to you is a false gospel on the day of your judgment.

You will be putting your faith in a Savior that cannot save you and your destination will be hell. Many believe that the Roman Catholic Church preaches the good news the true truth. That's false also the Roman Catholic Church does not represent a Christ that can save you that Christ has to die every single time.

They go into a mass and sacrifice again every single time that happens know that there was only one sacrifice. And that is the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ himself. So if you're a part of the Roman Catholic Church putting your faith in the Jesus that they preach and proclaim.

We would beg you to flee that false religion that will not lead you to life. Now we beg you to open your ears to hear the good news of the gospel the good news the gospel starts like this that you were created that you are not just a random chance.

You were not just a random chance product of the universe. No, that's insanity to think that we could find our origin and that that type of notion now. You did not just come from a primordial Slime you're not just molecules in motion.

You didn't come from just random chance process. Darwinian evolution as a means of Explaining our origins is absolutely foolish. It works well in a world that hates God. It works well in a world that hates God, but you did not just come from nothing.

No.

The Bible says that you were fearfully and wonderfully made knit together in the womb of your mother. The God is your creator. God created you for his glory. But God is also holy that means that there is no sin within him.

The Bible says that his eyes are too pure to look upon sin. That God is perfectly righteous that he is perfectly just. Because God is perfectly righteous and perfectly just. Well that goes to show you based upon his own holiness that we are not.

That we are sinners separated from the God who created us. Now we are born in sin. The Bible says that we are born in iniquity and that the wages of our sin the penalty for our sin is Death not only death in this life living separated from God, but eternal death.

The Bible says that is appointed once for a man to die and then he faces the judgment. There is a Judgment day coming for each and every single one of us and we cannot escape that appointment. There will be a day when we die and we might we might shrug our shoulders.

We might think it's insane to think about it. But the actuality is if we resist and we turn from the God of the Bible. Then we are we resort to absurdity and we live lives of absurdity distance from God.

No, God is appointed a day for you a day that you will Arrive to an appointment that you cannot counsel cancel. Will you stand before Jesus Christ on that day of your death? It's death and judgment. Many people believe that it's death and then the lights are going to simply go off.

Many people falsely believe that that we're just going to die and everything's going to cease. We're just going to cease to exist Annihilationism or we're going to become unconscious. No on the day of your death, you will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ and on that day you will give an account.

He's not going to judge you according to the way that you see your own life. He's not going to judge you according to your own standards on that day of your death. Jesus Christ is going to judge you according to the perfect standard of his law.

Well, no you can turn from your from your Prostitution. No, you have not you remain Obstinate you remain in your sin, you know that you're truly not saved those who are truly born again. The Bible says do not walk in darkness and that's how we know many people profess to be Christian.

But Christianity is not about some nominal title that we that we wear. It's not some profession. It's not based upon that at all. Truly being born again is being born new by God Himself. He sovereignly gives life to those that he loves he sovereignly gifts grace and mercy faith and repentance.

But on that day of your judgment, how are you going to be found when you stand before God? See we prioritize our life the wrong way. We worry about the here and the now we worried about. We're worried about our looks.

We're worried about the relationships that we have. We're worried about the money in our checking account. But I have to say to you is when you stand before God in the day of your judgment. How are you gonna fare on that day?

Are you gonna die and be separated from God forever because you've rejected the good news of the gospel. Because you have hardened your heart towards Christ Jesus. Is that going to be your eternal destination?

Are you going to spend forever paying the crimes for your own fine? Paying the penalty for your own crimes. Is that is that where you're gonna end up? The Bible says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.

No, we don't want you to spend an everlasting sentence in a place called hell. Absorbing in yourself the wrath of God for all eternity. But that is your destination if you continue to reject Jesus Christ.

That is where you will end up either heaven with God forever adopted into his family. For an eternity because you have turned from your sin and turn to Jesus Christ, or you will spend an eternal Eternal amount of time in eternity everlasting.

Receiving in yourself the punishment for your sins that you rightly deserve. God did not leave us in our sin. God did not leave us separated from him. God does not need nothing at all. He did not need to send his son, but Jesus came.

Came 2 ,000 years ago. Live the perfect life. We could never live the sinless perfect spotless lamb of God Emmanuel. God came in the flesh. And he lived that perfect life that we can never live. The Bible says we to be perfect.

Even as our Heavenly Father is perfect. So he lived the perfect life on behalf of all those who put their faith in him. And then Jesus did something amazing. Jesus went and hung and received punishment upon a cross.

Punishment that he did not deserve. Jesus hung upon the cross and he received in himself the penalty for sins that he did not do. He received in himself the penalty for sins that we are guilty of. So it's either going to be you for all eternity.

Receiving in yourself the wrath of God. Or you're going to put your faith in Jesus Christ and you're going to put your trust in him and in so doing. Knowing for certain that on the cross Jesus died for your sins as you would put your faith in him.

So we beg you tonight. Come to your senses. We know that you're young. We know that you can sit. You think that you can put off the most important things in your life. But we beg you today to turn from your sin turn from your evil turn from your wickedness and turn to Jesus Christ before it's too Late for you turn from your sin and turn to him.
