00:36
First of all, the name. The names that they go by as the Kingdom of Jesus Christ or the name above every name incorporated.
00:43
The founders of this movement are Pastor Apollo C. Quibbley who was born in 1950 and he's living to the present day as of 2011.
00:56
The headquarters of this movement is Davao City, Philippines where Quibbley claims that his ministry in Davao is the
01:02
New Jerusalem or City of God where he said he was told and envisioned by God that Davao City will be the water center of the world.
01:09
The membership. There are astoundingly over 6 million total followers of Pastor Quibbley.
01:15
4 million are in the Philippines and 2 million are in other countries. The origins of this movement.
01:21
This movement was founded on September 1st, 1985. Now it's important to note also the teachings of this movement.
01:29
First there are some general teachings. Quibbley has a oneness Pentecostal leanings with his denial of the
01:36
Trinity. Secondly, he teaches a prosperity theology, the idea that God wants you to be healthy and wealthy.
01:43
Third, he also teaches a radical exclusivism, that his way is the true way, that salvation is by acknowledging him as the
01:50
Son of God, stuff like that. Secondly, he also has teachings regarding Jesus. First, he teaches that Jesus was the
01:57
Savior for the Jews and he is the Savior for the Gentiles. Secondly, Quibbley makes himself equal to God by calling himself a begotten
02:06
Son and the Son of God. Also Quibbley claimed to be ushered into Sonship in 2003 in the same sense that Jesus has eternal
02:15
Sonship. Third, Quibbley argues that he is in a state of perfection similar to that which
02:21
Adam experienced before the fall. Third, Quibbley has also teachings regarding the fall.
02:28
He holds to the serpent seed doctrine, the idea that Eve had sex with a serpent in the garden to cause the fall.
02:35
Fourth, Quibbley also has teachings regarding salvation. First, he says that we can only have salvation by acknowledging
02:43
Pastor Quibbley as the Son of God. So you cannot be saved unless you acknowledge Pastor Quibbley as the
02:49
Son of God. Second, God's work of salvation was not finished at the cross.
02:55
Fifth, Pastor Quibbley has some teachings regarding the Bible. First, he teaches that it is authoritative insofar as it is interpreted by Quibbley or by himself.
03:08
Secondly, Quibbley is seeking to add a new written revelation to the Bible in his
03:14
Book of Fulfillment. Third, Quibbley constantly twists scripture to support his teachings.
03:22
Also, it's important to know that there are many publications of this movement. Quibbley uses media to spread his message through the following resources.
03:30
He has media networks, he's on the internet, he has his own website, kingdomofjesuschrist .org,
03:37
and he even has a YouTube channel. So he's definitely trying to get his ideas out there and it's amazing that he has 6 million adherents or followers of his teachings, 4 million in the
03:46
Philippines and 2 million abroad. So for a biblical analysis of his teachings, please look at my following videos.
