Human Worth Revealed in Times of Crisis

And there doesn't really be no tenderness among the shouting. That's the reason. I think that's what has happened to our nation. It's a good thing. It'll bring all of us closer together. At the time of death, you don't really know your wife until the youngsters at the point of death.

You don't really know a person. You don't really know their worth. Not worth. You don't really until that hour of crisis. You don't know. But I've never seen. And yet, I've staked every grave and remembered something.

Trusting Jesus Beyond This Earthly Life

Thought takes its last leap. It's not the end. It's just the beginning. I've staked everything I have, not life itself, but that which is beyond this earthly life. When my own heart takes its last beat, the last beat, and I take my last breath.

I've staked everything I have on you. One whom I have never seen. Look on your face. You feel sorry for me for being such a failure. No, my friend. I have seen the way. ...power and the rise of men and women.

The Greatest Miracle Is the Transformation of a Life

The transformation of our lives. These physical things are so secondary. They're so secondary. This young body here is just wonderful. It's glorious to have a woman stand before me. And she can speak all the way again.

It's marvelous. I know that it's glorious to be with a gentleman that's so secondary. The greatest miracle in the world is that transformation of the life. And I have seen him take a man and speak to him.

Out of the very gutter, I have seen him. I have seen him so low-down, so worthless. ...carnal and righteous. ...with that precious life, his own grace. ...instant free, but an instant free. ...transaction.

It's exactly what Jesus Christ did on the cross for every man and every woman. When it comes to predestination, I believe that when Jesus died, he died with exception. No exception whatsoever. He's not willing that any should perish, but that all should come into eternal life.

Becoming a New Creature in Christ

I have seen him take that man the lowest of the low. Give him a new mind. Give him new ambitions. New desire. ...passed away and behold, all things have he become new. A new creature in Christ Jesus. That which was born of the flesh is flesh, and that's something that we all have in common.

Every man, every living human being has that one thing in common. We've been born of the flesh. But Jesus was talking about the second birth, the spiritual birth, that new birth experience. He's small, and the woman has said, I have a new husband.

And the kids who used to run from him, afraid when he came home drunk, now put their arms around him. And he loves. Who can transform a life like that, Jesus Christ? Only one. I've never seen Jesus. I've never heard him speak.

But I have seen the way. If you don't know what I'm talking about today, I feel sorry for the Holy Spirit. Those who know me best know how I've said over and over again, I'm completely dependent on the mighty third person, the Trinity, the Holy Spirit.

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

When I say to you that the Holy Spirit is a person, he's more than just one of these attributes. He's more than an angel. The Holy Spirit is a person. As Gethsemane of God the Father is a person, as Gethsemane of Jesus Christ the Son is a person, the Holy Spirit is a person with a definite personality.

Those on the stage or on the platform, the truth that I agree with the Holy Spirit, I'll give my life and my heart. I'll never again, I'll never again walk out on stage or platform. We have too much pretense now in the ministry, and I'm not going to add to it.

And the anointing of the Holy Spirit no longer comes upon me. It will only be a mockery, never again. I am behind the pulpit. It's a sacred place. I'm no better than anyone else, what David meant in the word of God.

David’s Cry for the Holy Spirit

And he cried out, take not thy holy spirit from me. Take not thy holy spirit from me. I pray that you'll take me in death. And I say it sincerely before the angels, before the Father, before the very high priest in the presence of the Holy Spirit, I pray that you'll take me in death before he takes the Holy Spirit from me.

Pour it out, the Holy Spirit. Oh, it's mad. It's crazy. Nine miles from the podium. I knew it from whence I'd come. And he said, listen, take good or bad. You can say anything you want. You know, go to that cold city.

You can say anything you want about the corpse. You'll not bat my leg. You'll not lose a life possible. Try it sometime. Say anything you want. And I will say, you may not know what I'm talking about.

You know, my friend, I followed the Holy Spirit. I followed him, you'll never know. I followed him in a miracle service. I followed him so close, so closely. There's not a cloud out there. You're so in tune with a person.

The Holy Spirit’s Presence and Christ’s High-Priestly Ministry

You so yielded yourself to a person. A person in this place today, in this auditorium, there is a person. God the Father sits upon his throne. In his right hand at this very moment, the position of great high priest.

The very Son of the living God, ever living, to make his reception for you and for me. But in this place, this very moment, is the person of the Holy Spirit. The person to whom Jesus offered himself before he ever came to this earth in the form of life.

The greatest gift that was ever given to the Church. I want to say something again. To those of you in the gray charismatic community, sometimes I think we get so familiar with God. Too familiar. We speak of him so lightly.

There's a reason why we refer to him, by Jesus himself, as the Holy. In his presence, I feel like taking the shins from off my feet. We have forgot how to worship. We have forgotten the holiness of the mighty, strong, person of the Trinity.

Faith in the Unseen Work of the Spirit

Sometimes I think we have become too familiar with things that are so... I could never tell you about the Holy Spirit. I could never. Maybe it's because I'm so completely dependent upon him. You see, when I tell you I have never seen him, one of whom, I can honestly say, take everything.

But don't leave me. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. You call me, but I've never seen him. He's never spoken an audible word to me. I've seen the evidence. You don't understand. You just don't understand.

You can't analyze the things that I've been talking about today. You don't analyze God. You don't analyze... You don't analyze the Holy Spirit. You don't analyze miracles. But Father, give me faith. Give me greater proof.

Give me greater proof. I have to see Joseph upon the face of my son first before I can leave. Before I can leave. No. When he's far away, my son is alive. I'll go to him. My son is alive. My heavenly Father is alive.

My heavenly Father. And he needs no defense. End of those days. He's alive. For those days, I'll go to him. There is no doubt right now. There is no doubt. I can only tell you the truth. This is the truth.

The truth. So everyone will answer forever and ever. These things could never fail. You can answer the question of the Holy Spirit from now forever. God. The fact of the wind. We practiced recently talking with Colonel Ernst.

The Wind as Evidence of Invisible Reality

A great astronaut. With black eyes. You know, Captain Coon, at that moment, I felt the pressure. I had never known this pressure. To begin telling you some of this wonderful, irresistible experience of domination.

The self-suppression of all matter. I might have said, Colonel Ernst, have you ever seen the wind? You've walked on the moon. Have you ever seen the wind? It would seem such a silly question. Such a small thing.

One of our greatest astronauts is probably with a smile. His eyes, his fingers. And so I know. No. No one has seen the wind. There isn't a person living who does not accept the fact of the wind because you've seen the wind stop from the force of that wind.

You do not deny the wind blow just because you have not seen the wind. And stand before you and remember something. The Bible needs no defense. God needs no defense. You need no defense. The Holy Spirit needs no defense.

I'm not defending a thing. I've only lifted the lip of my heart and I'm telling you why I believe. The heart sees the Holy Spirit and you and I cannot see the Holy Spirit in the face of the earth today.

But we see the wind stop the force and the power. And we have boundaries. Don't you get it? In a moment I can't look enough and say forgive me Father for not having told it better. I'm so limited, limited in my vocabulary.

I'm so limited. So limited. I can tell you I'm spiritual. I'm only spiritually revealed. It can make the things that I've been talking about real to you. Only the Spirit. God has not revealed this unto you but my Father has revealed it.

The Call to Be Born Again

Right now when you're sitting do you not believe that I've ever done this before and I've waited this time for a miracle service to be ordained in the spirit of you sitting there. We make this entire auditorium alter personal spaces for Catherine King and I've never had that spiritual experience of being born again.

Never been born again. I have to wear it whether you're here in the Moon Sanctuary or whether you're in the other auditoriums in closed circuits. It's something that's personal. It's something that's very personal.

Be born again. God can do it because there's something much more vitally important and it comes from your heart. It's what's in you buried down deep in that heart of yours. Sit there. Beautiful prayer and say, dear Jesus, that's what I want.

I want to be born again. I want you to forgive my sins. I want the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son to cleanse me from all sin. That's what I want. That's what I want. I want to know more than anything else in the world.

I can't have you come part of this space. It's too small. But I want you to do something that Holy Spirit is present that permeates this entire auditorium. It's as sacred as bone marrow standing in this auditorium of God's.

Forget there's anyone else here in this auditorium. I'm going to pray the prayer from this circuit. I want every person in this auditorium to say, Captain Clemens, that's what I want. I want Jesus to forgive my sins.

And the scripture says, I believe my wife passed out. Your coming can be just an act of standing. And that person will say, that's what I want. Stand right now and I'm going to pray right on this circuit.

Stand up right now. Every person will say, that's what I want. I want that you just stand. Just stand right wherever you are in the auditorium. I'm not asking you to come part of the car or the podium in the front.

Just stand and say, that's what I want. I want that new birth experience. I want Jesus to forgive my sins. That's right, and they're still standing. And they're still standing. And they're still standing.

And they're still standing, everybody who knows how to pray. Everybody, every person in this place who knows how to pray will pray right now. The other auditoriums in that closed circuit, just standing, people will hear that prayer of yours.

That's right, just standing in the other auditoriums. Just stand right there as though you were standing before the throne of God. Just stand. If we confess our sins, He is able and just to forgive us our sins.

A Prayer of Repentance and New Life

So simple, all you say is, dear Jesus. I come, dear Jesus, I confess I'm a sinner. No, I'm a sinner, sinner. The only person who's sinner cannot forgive that. God will not confess he's a sinner. Say shamefully all over the auditorium.

Right out loud, all of it. Say, dear Jesus. Say it again. I confess I'm a sinner. Oh, I'm a sinner. All of my sins come into my heart. I promise to live for you from this moment on. Help me just as I am, for Jesus' sake.

Amen. In this moment, I pray that you, O Spirit of the Holy Spirit, bear witness to all that is written. The Holy Spirit shall bear witness with every man.
