The Ministry Vision for Cultish

Hey guys, I'm Jeff Durbin, pastor of Apologia Church and head of Apologia Studios.

And I'm Jeremiah Roberts, one of the co-hosts of Cultish.

As many of you guys know, God has used Apologia Church and Apologia Studios to bring the gospel into conflict with so many different areas so effectively and we are so humbled by it. We have something very special happening in the area of Cultish.

Equipping the Church to Engage the Cults

Yeah, so we've always wanted to have just a section of Apologia Studios that's laser focused in on direct ministry to the cults. And what you've seen with the podcast is just one little aspect of what we want to do.

We want to be able to have resources to equip the church to how to engage the cults, but we also want to be able to reach out and have a place where people who are ex-cultists who need help to leave whatever cult that they are in, to get biblically based exit counseling, to get them plugged into a healthy and local church.

Where so many times people leave a group and they don't know where to go to and they're afraid to get plugged in because they're afraid that they're gonna get deceived again and that's where a ministry like us is definitely very, very helpful and very needed.

We get contacted all the time. We get contact from people who are coming out of Mormonism, out of the watchtower that see our content of our evangelism and our outreach. They watch it, God uses it, and now they come to Christ and they want help.
