The Appearing of the Resurrected Christ and the Flowing of the Holy Spirit — Newman Sze

The night is the third evening. We've been meeting all day long. Are you tired a little bit? Really not tired? Strength shall be upon strength. And when they wrote the song, those are the songs you sing when you go up to the mountain and worship God.

If you're tired, it's time to go back down to the mountain. Then you can see the face of God. But tonight we shall face to face meet with him. Therefore, straighten your heart and read the word of God.

Meeting the Lord Through Experience

Prepare our hearts, because we want to meet with the Lord. We want to experience the Lord. Don't let Jesus Christ just be a term, a doctor in our mouth. Jesus cannot be just a term without power in our mouth.

We have to meet with him actually. We have to for sure experience him tonight. We have to for sure obtain him tonight. He who wants the Lord, raise your hands. Anybody does not raise his hands? We all have raised our hands.

Otherwise, you can go back to the dorm and rest.

He who sits here wants to pursue the Lord. Let's read Mark chapter 16, verse 14 to 18. Let's read it together.

Speaking in Tongues and Receiving Strength

And then just a few days ago, when we were praying in the church, and there were a couple of brothers and sisters who spoke in tongues. And if the Lord does not give you the deeper interpretation, then you don't understand the public.

But that's alright, we were in the fair meeting, so we all understood in the spirit. And I saw two young people sitting among us. And I thought while they were speaking in tongues, it may just frighten them.

So I was trying to fellowship with them after the meeting. So I found someone and I started explaining to him. And before I even finished explaining, he said, oh brother, this is good. Even though I don't speak in tongues, but I gain strength from someone else speaking.

So don't worry about the Lord's words. And don't worry for the Lord Jesus. The Bible tells us clearly they will speak in new tongues. If they don't understand, the Lord will explain it to them. And I never tried to explain before in my life.

The Unchanging Word of God

Dear brothers and sisters, the Word of God is as fast as you have an ear. It is we who will change, but the Word of God will never change. And then we need to change to follow the Word of God. Then we'll be greatly blessed.

Don't hope to change the Word of God then. Let's read on. Chapter 1 Verse 1 to 11. Let's read it together. Chapter 1. Give an order to the people who have chosen to leave Jerusalem.

Don't leave Jerusalem. Don't leave Jerusalem. Don't leave Jerusalem. Don't leave Jerusalem. When you have heard the words of the Lord, you will be saved. But in a few days, you will be saved by the Lord.

When they were gathered, they said to Jesus, Lord, at this time Jesus said to them, No, but victory will come upon you. You will be able to stand in Jerusalem. I will guide you to my presence. I will guide you to my presence.

After this, he was lifted up. A cloud covered him, and when he went down, he could not be seen. When he went up, they looked up, but they could not see him. They stood beside him and said, O people of Galilee, why are you looking up to the sky?

Why are you looking up to the sky? Jesus who was lifted up to heaven, why are you looking up to the sky? How will he come? How will he come? Let us read chapter 2, from verse 1 to 3, from verse 1 to 3, from verse 1 to 4.

When the fifth day came, many people gathered on one side. Suddenly, a great wind blew from the sky. The sky was filled with what they had done. There were stones and flames coming out of the sky. When they were separated, they fell on their heads.

They were filled with the Spirit of the Lord.

They were filled with the Spirit of the Lord. Let us go on to chapter 4. First, we need to talk about something.

First, we need to talk about something.

The Two Ministries of the Holy Spirit

First, the ministry of the Holy Spirit. There is only one Holy Spirit. There is only one Holy Spirit. They have two different ministries. One is inward. One is inward.

They are in-dwelling Holy Spirits. One is outwardly. The Spirit that is important upon us.

And the Lord has chosen two great apostles. And the Lord has chosen two great apostles to speak about the ministries of the Holy Spirit. These two apostles speak of two aspects of the Spirit. And these two apostles speak of two aspects of the Spirit.

He chose Luke to speak upon the Holy Spirit that poured upon us.

And to John God's chosen John to speak upon the in-dwelling Spirit. So when Luke mentioned the Holy Spirit, he always said this way, He always started with the word, power. But when John talked about Holy Spirit, and the word he likes to use is life.

John doesn't talk about power, neither does Luke talk about life. When Luke talked about Holy Spirit, he would say, the Holy Spirit falls upon you, which means on top of you. When John talked about Holy Spirit, he would say the Spirit that's in you.

John never said the Spirit upon you, neither does Luke talk about in you. And the third thing Luke likes to mention about Holy Spirit is that it serves. All the outpouring Holy Spirit is for the purpose of serving.

When John talked about Holy Spirit, and the thing he likes to mention is about experience. Because John talked about the indwelling great experience of the Holy Spirit. And the two apostles speak two different ministries of the Holy Spirit.

It's not that Luke had no idea about the indwelling Spirit. Or John doesn't understand the importance of Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit came upon Pentecost, John was definitely one of the key persons.

Probably Luke wasn't even there. So John doesn't know about the outpouring Holy Spirit? No, then it would be a great mistake. But the Bible is the breath of God. It's written by God Himself. And he only wants Luke to talk about the poured upon Spirit.

And only John talks about the abiding Holy Spirit. And these two people wrote many books in the Bible. Luke wrote the Gospel according to Luke and the Book of Acts. John wrote 1st John, 2nd John, 3rd John as well as the Gospel according to John.

And they wrote in such an order, nothing messed up. We have to worship God. We get help from Luke. We also receive help from John. When Paul was writing, he wrote the most important book in the New Testament.

And he wrote mostly about the Holy Spirit. And he was like the summary of all. And he talked about the Spirit in both acts. He talked about the Spirit poured upon people. And also the Spirit abides in people.

And the Spirit that Paul talked about, 80 of them were talking about abiding Holy Spirit. Only 20 or so talked about outpouring Holy Spirit. Dear brothers and sisters, the Word of God is our life, it is our path, and it is our guide.

The Trinity Revealed Through the Holy Spirit

So when we come to the Triune God, we see how Father God is revealed through the Son God, and how Son God is revealed through the Holy Spirit. We cannot know the substance of God without the Holy Spirit.

Then everything will be just vanity to us. But the Holy Spirit has come. To actualize everything to us. The Holy Spirit is the God that enters into our hearts. It is a subjective God. And it is God that can help us experience Him.

And this is the God of Trinity. How the Son God manifests Father God. In the same manner, Holy Spirit will also reveal the Son God to us. Jesus ascended into Heaven. Then He poured down His Spirit. And when He returned in His Spirit, then He put Himself completely in His Spirit.

The Resurrection Power, and the Authority of Ascension, and His absolutely unlimited Glory, they all have come within the Holy Spirit. And yet ascended into His Glory,.

And He sent down His Holy Spirit. And this is how we receive the Lord.

And otherwise, how do we receive the Lord? If you tell people, My Lord is in Heaven, then where is your proof? Jesus ascended into Heaven, and the Holy Spirit comes down. It is like we get a receipt. The Holy Spirit is like a receipt.

It is our proof. How do I know Jesus ascended? Because the Holy Spirit has come. He is inside of me.

He abides in me. He abhors upon me. Which one do you want?

Which aspect of the Holy Spirit do you want? Both. Anybody just want one particular aspect? Because we are going to talk about two aspects tonight. Oh dear brother and sister, let us ask for both. And there are a couple of years I was without the Holy Spirit.

Receiving the Indwelling and Outpouring Spirit by Faith

And that is a wrong statement. If you are an eternal God, then the Holy Spirit can dwell inside of you.

He has given Himself to you, inside of you.

So that is purely nonsense. You say, I do not have the experience of the Holy Spirit. You definitely have it. You just need to receive the complete experience by faith. By faith to gain it. The water is in the cup.

How can you say there is no water? But it is a different experience when the water actually fills the cup and overflows. But it is a different experience when the water actually fills the cup and overflows.

And sometimes children are weird. And everyone has a different way of experiencing the Holy Spirit. And therefore sometimes we argue about our experience. So how come we both feel about the Holy Spirit but we have different experiences?

Because I feel it is like a power from outside. And the other side, I feel the in-outflow Spirit.

I say, please go outside and argue. Because we are on our ears.

Because the Word of God has covered both sides. Do not base the truth on your own experience. You can have the external one and also the internal one. Paul has come. He is very well balanced when it comes to experiencing the Holy Spirit.

In 1 Corinthians 12, verse 12. He said, you are baptized into one Holy Spirit. And you drink from the one Spirit. And you become one body. That was a great statement, Paul. You are also baptized into Spirit and you also drink from it.

Baptism is external. Drinking is internal. And Paul says, being baptized into one Spirit. And drink from the same Spirit. And therefore we have become one body. And the body of Christ is something that only happens in the Holy Spirit.

We will not know of Christ, neither the body of Christ without the Holy Spirit. Church is the body of Christ. And all these are actualized when it is in the Holy Spirit. Otherwise it is just a teaching and worship without Spirit.

Holy Spirit has come. How can you say I don't have it? And how did you believe in Jesus in the first place? How did you believe in Jesus? Don't just nod your head. How did you believe? It's hard to describe.

I think it's hard for me to describe. That's a funny question. I should have believed. Why did you ask me how I believed? Did you feel tired or difficult when you believed in Jesus? When you say, I'm so tired after believing in Jesus.

Oh, it was so hard for me to believe in Jesus. Then there's something wrong with the belief. And I don't know whether you truly believe or not. How come we all have different kind of fears? Who had a hard time believing in Jesus?

We just believe like that. When I just believe, I just don't believe. But I didn't believe that I would believe. But once I decided to believe, it wasn't hard at all.

Sometimes I'm not clear about it, but I believe.

But don't tell people that without knowing much, I believe. Yeah, sometimes we are not clear in our head. But the Lord is not. Holy Spirit is never wrong. Since you believe in Him. And that's because that's the Word of Jesus Christ.

And then suddenly we just believe. And then once we believe, He enters into us. And I am saved. Such a great fact that happened. So why do we don't have to despise or share? It's easy to believe in the Lord.

But it's so hard to be healed by the Holy Spirit. I said, just have to stand back. And they said, oh, it's so hard, so hard. Then how did you believe in Jesus? Was it hard for you to believe? No? Then it's hard to believe in the Holy Spirit.

Then same way, how you believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, then you should believe in the Holy Spirit. Who wants to divide God into three parts? The Triune God is three in one. There's no division.

When you believe in the Lord, it was easy. And then you have the Lord. Same way with the Holy Spirit. Just believe and you will have Him. And tonight we shall all pass through the state. Oh, dear brothers and sisters, Paul was the one who summarized all things.

Peter, Mark, and the Gospel of Outpouring Power

When Peter came out, and his uniqueness is not in the truth, but his experience. And on the Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came upon him, he was the key person. He was the leader of the church. And the Gospel according to Mark, we need to explain this to you.

Actually the Gospel according to Mark should be said the Gospel according to Peter. Because it was dictated by Peter, and written down by Mark, because Peter was not able to write. But he had followed Jesus three and a half years.

So he knew Jesus.

So he talked about Jesus, and Mark wrote it down.

And that's why it's called the Gospel according to Mark. Actually it should be the Gospel according to Peter. Because it's the Gospel by Peter. And when Peter talked about the Holy Spirit, he talked about his experience.

How did he describe that? And he was in the same line as Luke. And he was in the same direction as that of Luke. He talked about the outpouring Holy Spirit. He was dear friends with John. He was always with John.

They received different ministries from God. John talked about indwelling Spirit, and Peter the outward one. And that is the marvelousness of the Bible. And Luke talked about the outpouring Holy Spirit.

John talked about the indwelling Holy Spirit. And when Peter talked about the Holy Spirit, he was in the same way as Luke. He talked about the gift of the Holy Spirit. He talked about the power in the Spirit.

Therefore the chapter 16 of Mark is also written according to Peter. He said, those who believe, there shall be signs and wonders accompanying them. And when he talked about the Gospel, he talked about the outpouring of the Spirit.

And along with it, the gifts and power. What kind of gifts and what kind of power? And in chapter 16, that's the beginning of the era of miracles and wonders. And this afternoon I brought a testimony.

Miracles and Wonders as Signs of the Risen Christ

And the story is just really unbelievable. It's just too unbelievable. And I tried to explain to a couple, three people. You can say the stories are marvelous. But don't say it's unbelievable. You should say it's wonderful.

It's wonderful. And one time I went to the Caucasian Pentecostal meeting. They spoke German. When they say wonderful, it's like a different pronunciation in German. They said, wonderful. They said, wonderful.

And I was the speaker that day. And they suddenly remembered I was Chinese. And they came and pulled me to the front. And we Chinese don't like to do that. They said, oh, in English it's wonderful. And in German, it's wonderful.

In Chinese, it's wonderful. How do you say it in Chinese? I said, well, it's kind of hard to pronounce. They said, just tell us, how do you say it in Chinese? I said, wonderful. And it's hard for them to learn that.

They could not pronounce it. But everybody learned it, wonderful. And let our brother talk about the wonderful Lord. I said, wonderful. And it's really a very weird sound when they pronounce it together.

I said, this is indeed wonderful. Even though we pronounce differently, but we all share the same meaning. Because our Lord is indeed wonderful. And in German, a totally different pronunciation.

And there are so many Christians in China.

They all understand what wonderful Lord means. And Jesus Lord is indeed wonderful. Can you say that? It's wonderful. It's wonderful. And it accompanies those who believe in miracles and wonders. And I have heard so many wonderful stories this afternoon.

What does it mean by miracles? It means the work of God. Why do you say that's weird? What's wrong? What's weird about God's work? And it's just a little thing like that. It will be way beyond you and I can comprehend.

Have you seen dead being raised from the dead? He said, no, I never saw it. He said, Brother Lee, have you seen it? No, neither have I. But I knew for sure two people were raised from the dead. And in China, one was in Taiwan.

Indeed, they were raised from the dead. And one actually woke up three days after. And the doctor said, maybe I made a mistake, he didn't even die. But the Lord let him die for three complete days and he rose up.

So the doctor could find no excuse. Because the doctor gave the certificate of dead when he had passed out. He passed away. The heartbeat stopped. It was completely dead. But three days later, he got up.

So doctors cannot explain. Dear brothers and sisters, this is our Lord. And do you think it's a great thing for God to raise someone from the dead? It's a small thing for Him. To me, it's a great thing.

Miracles. That means works done by God. So what's amazing about it? You should say, oh, it's wonderful. And don't say, this is weird. Miracles and wonders accompany us. And I've gone to so many miracles and wonders in my life.

Healing, Faith, and the Promise of God

One year, I went to Vancouver. And after the meeting, about 11 p .m., a brother came to my door. He said, Brother Lee, get up, get up. I said, what? And there was this six-month-old baby. It's really ill.

And her rear was rotten.

Oh, and it's such a agony.

Please come and pray for the baby. I said, to be healed, the gift of healing is given to all the children in the world. And you have the same problem. So don't dare me to do it. You go and pray. He heard what I said.

He said, me, to heal? You must be mistaken. I said, no, I'm not God. Are you a child of God? He said, yes, I am. He said, a child of God like me can heal other people. I said, I did not send you to heal.

Don't tell people that the Lord can heal, not you can heal. No one is able to heal others. The Lord Jesus can do it. He said, well, that's been a trouble for me because I never did it before. How do I do it?

Matthew 8, verse 17. Lord, who has taken up my weaknesses, and He has taken up my sickness, if He has replaced my weaknesses, do I still have weaknesses? If He has taken up all my sicknesses, do I still have sickness?

And this is the evidence of the Lord's healing. One person is enough for you. Go, hurry up. Go to pray for the child in the name of the Lord.

So he was sent away. He went to that physician's house.

He said, I asked for the physician to come, but he refused. He said, he gave me this verse. He asked me to heal. Do you think that is a great escape by the brotherly? The sister said, what kind of verse did he give you?

He said, Matthew 8, verse 17. He took up the place of our weaknesses, and He took up our sickness. And upon hearing this verse, she woke up from within.

She said, wow, this is surely a great verse.

I have read Matthew so many times. But how come it's last? I only heard it for the first time.

And she suddenly woke up from within.

So toward her lady, she made a proclamation. She said, the Lord Jesus said, He will take up the place of our weaknesses, and He will carry our sicknesses. And she raised her hand upon Him, and He prayed.

And the baby was immediately healed. All the rotten areas were healed completely. And our brother was so excited upon seeing what happened. It was after midnight, he came to my door again. He said, Brother Lee, wake up, wake up.

I said, what's the matter? He was so excited to describe what happened. And I said, why are you sighing? And I said, you know that sister has triumphed in her faith. As far as you are concerned, you are a failure.

And then you woke me up at twelve o 'clock for this. Dear brothers and sisters, the promise of God is for every one of us. Not many people have great healing gifts, even in this country. But Children of God, each one of us has the promise of healing.

And there are many times people ask me to pray for the sick. And that was the particular time I refused to go. And you went and worked. Because it's based upon the Word of God. That's not just for me.

It's for every child of God. Since it's miracles and wonders, then it should be like miracles and wonders. It shall accompany us, those who believe. And they talk about casting out demons and healing.

Casting Out Demons in the Name of Jesus

And you may say, oh, demons are dreadful. And Brother Lee, can you go and cast it out? I said, aren't you a child of God? Yes, I am. And then you are just useless. The devil should be afraid of us. How come you are afraid of the devil?

Some people dare not go home late at night. I said, what's your problem? She said, I'm just waiting for another brother to walk with other people. I said, how come you don't go home by yourself? To God.

And then what kind of Christian is this? The devil is afraid of you? But this kind takes the inner revelation. If you are afraid of darkness, when you go to China, it's dark everywhere at night. I used to travel at this place.

It's a graveyard full of devils. And a lot of times demons come out and scare people. Therefore, many Christian brothers dare not walk through that. And every week I need to pass through the graveyard to go to the meeting.

And I need to actually fight to the meeting. And every time I'm by that place, I feel the power of evil. And I knew there are demons inside. I'm on my bike. I said, what's wrong with me? Even I am here.

I said, no, I'm not afraid. However, there was this force that made me afraid. Indeed, devil. How dare you to come here? And I started saying, hallelujah, Jesus overcome. What is devil? But we still have fear when we face him face to face.

But don't be afraid. And the demons cause discomfort on us. But that's the time you announce that Jesus Christ overcome. All the fears will be cast away. Devil is afraid of us. We should not be afraid of devil.

Are you afraid of devil? You're not? You're afraid of devil. This kind of devil is quite scary. When he came back, he said, this kind of devil is scary. You're afraid of devil. I'm not afraid. Hallelujah, Jesus overcome.

Because he is in a different realm. He is in a different realm from us. I can't see his heart. I feel trouble in this place. But the problem is that we cannot see it, but he can see us. So they can treat us.

But I do not want to elaborate upon this. Once you cast it away several times, you won't be afraid. Because in the great name of my Lord Jesus, all the demons will flee. I'm not saying, don't be afraid.

But in the name of the Lord, to believe in the name of the Lord, to believe that Jesus has overcome, and that victory can cast away all the demons. And that is the gospel given by Peter. You can cast out demons and can heal the sick.

Therefore, miracles and wonders accompany that. And before I met with this religious group of brothers, they don't talk too much about Jesus, but they like to talk about miracles and wonders. It's like they have experienced so much miracles and wonders.

Maybe they have some experience, but not to that extent. One time that man talked to me for two hours straight about miracles and wonders. I said, let me tell you. Miracles and wonders can't be seen or heard.

Miracles and wonders accompany those who believe.

Do you know what I'm talking about? Miracles and wonders are the best. I am the miracle.

I am different from your brain. It's amazing. I'm different from you. You are the miracle. Miracles and wonders, who are they? I said, look, it says, it will follow those who believe. How come we are different?

I said, they are friends. You, you are changed. But your heart follows those miracles a lot. You put miracles and wonders ahead of everything else. And you leave Jesus behind. I'm different. And we are according to Matthew.

I put Jesus first. And I walk forward. As I look back, I see a lot of miracles and wonders behind me. But for you, you put all these experiences before you. I heard you for two hours straight. But I did not hear anything about Jesus from you.

Dear brothers, you too. Now do you know the difference between you and I about this particular verse? And he could not speak after two hours. Because he talked to me about miracles and wonders only for two hours.

And miracles and wonders are without value. Where does the value lie? It's when they prove Jesus Christ. All the miracles and wonders prove the resurrection power of our Jesus. Prove that Jesus is risen.

Then there is value to these miracles and wonders. Otherwise, miracles and wonders themselves are without value. Do you understand me now? I'm not despising miracles and wonders. Because among us, we don't know much about it.

Don't be a Pharisee. We have to understand miracles and wonders. Follow Jesus. Follow Jesus well. And then miracles and wonders will accompany us naturally. That's great. He said, we are pursuing after miracles and wonders.

Acts, Ascension, and the Era of the Holy Spirit

And when it comes to the first chapter of the book of Acts, it's written by Luke. He said, according, I wrote about all the things that Jesus began to do and to teach. Until the day he was taken up to heaven, under the evening sun, through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

And at the beginning of the book, he divides Jesus' life into two stages. The first stage was when Jesus was born, the womb became flesh. He said, the things that he began to teach and talk, and that was the first stage.

And the world became flesh. And until the day he was taken up, that is the beginning of the second stage. That is the stage of ascension. Jesus is in heaven. That was different from when he was still on earth.

And that was the era of ascension. And that is also the era of the Holy Spirit. And through the Holy Spirit he has chosen the people. He ascended into heaven. And the Holy Spirit comes. The Holy Spirit comes down.

And ascends these people. And takes charge of all things. The Holy Spirit enters into all the children's hearts. And by the Holy Spirit, Jesus reigns in our hearts. And through us, the Holy Spirit can do his work on earth.

And can perform something great. Dear brothers and sisters, this is a great matter. It is the time of the Holy Spirit. Before Jesus was risen, he was crucified. The cross and once you are resurrected, everything is done.

The Cross, Resurrection, and Victory Over Death

The cross was the key. The cross determines all things to follow. And that was a great test. The cross tested all things. And no one can hide in the presence of the cross. Even to Jesus himself, the cross was a great test.

Jesus overcame through the cross. What did he overcome about? First, he overcame the suffering of the cross. The suffering of the cross. And that is the greatest suffering that we can understand. And Jesus overcame the suffering of the cross.

That is very important. Because his victory on the cross has a lot to do with us. We now can enjoy the victory of his cross. And we also want to apply the victory of his cross. The victory of the cross is our victory.

He overcame the suffering of the cross. Secondly, he overcame the power of death. The power of death was the dragon's power. And Jesus overcame the power of death. So he was the overcomer. What does it mean?

You overcome death, so you are the overcomer. Paul said, death is swallowed by a victory. And the victory refers to Jesus' resurrection. The whole chapter talks about his resurrection. How the death was swallowed by the victory.

It is swallowed by it. It is like you eat the death and it is all gone. And Jesus completely swallowed death. So he completely defeated death. That is a great victory. We are not afraid of death. How dare you to say, I am not afraid of death.

One brother once said, I am not afraid of death. I said, because you have not seen death. You said that because you are still physically strong. You said, I am not afraid of death. I have not seen death.

When you say these words, you are physically strong.

Death is terrible. You are not afraid of death. I am afraid of death. If you are not afraid of ghosts, you are afraid of death.

You are not afraid of ghosts. If you see Jesus, why are you not afraid of death? Why am I not afraid of death? Because Jesus has overcome death for me. Therefore, by him, I vote. Because I am in Jesus, so I overcome death.

You shall be afraid of death without me. Jesus overcomes death. Thirdly, Jesus overcomes devil, agent, and all the demons. The power of evil. The entire state of human beings was on the cross before. The state of all creation was on the cross.

And Jesus had really defeated the devil. When he was about to be crucified, all creation focused. All angels focused their attention. Because this battle will determine something great. And I have this great music, Messiah.

Therefore, when you come, I want to play it for you. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! When it comes to the last chapter, there is a pull of the sound of Hallelujah. That is why it is called the chapter of Hallelujah.

Why does it keep on saying Hallelujah? It is all because Jesus has risen. Jesus has ascended.

And that really was a genius. Hallelujah and Hallelujah.

And the composer was a Christ-loving Christian. He wrote the song, and he could not write any more until it comes to the last chapter. It was time to write about his ascension. He could not do it. So he waited upon the Lord.

Until one day, suddenly, heaven opened up.

The glory fell upon him. And he was able to finish the whole song. When you come to my house, I would like to pray for you. With the pull of the sound of Hallelujah. That was a great hymn. When it was played out for the first time, in fact, all these high-ranking officials were down there.

And their ruler was among them. When they sang a play of the last chapter, when it fell with the sound of Hallelujah, the power of the Holy Spirit suddenly stood up, and shook even the rulers and all the people.

They suddenly stood up. Now that has become a ritual. It is like a common practice. We all stand up when it comes to the last chapter. And that does not mean it is useful. The first time when people stood up, it was by the power of the Holy Spirit.

So when we sing songs, sometimes we ask you to stand up too. And we wish it is the Holy Spirit that asks you to stand up. And show our respect to the Lord. The Lord is indeed here. How can we still sit?

Or lie down? You can lie down if you are knocked down by the Holy Spirit. Not to lie down on your own. We all rise up. And praise the Lord. And show our respect. And shout out with joy to the Lord. Everybody shout out, Hallelujah!

It is the same Spirit that moves through generations. The cross. And Jesus passed by. Jesus passed the cross. Disciples follow Jesus around the cross. And when it comes to the cross, they all fail. Those who follow Jesus.

Discipleship and Following Jesus to the Cross

The disciples. We use the term disciples. And there is a great meaning to it. It is different from the term Christians. He who believes in the Lord can be called Christian. But disciples. In the original content has two meanings.

First is to dedicate ourselves. Second is to be trained. And we have to be someone who offers ourselves to the Lord to be a disciple. And also someone who is willing to be trained by the Lord. Simply put, people that are willing to follow Jesus to be disciples.

Therefore those who follow Jesus at that time are called disciples. And there are two kinds of people among them. One is the disciples in public. One are the disciples in secret. Those are in public. There are twelve disciples.

And all the three wonderful sisters. Her name is Mary. Mary is one of the first. There are actually three Mary's. Mary Magdalene. And that Mary. They just refer to her as that Mary. There are two overcomers.
