The Call to Bear Fruit in the House of God

The message on fruit bearing palm tree released by the Lord's Servant, Brother Baksh Singh on the evening of 14th November 1968 during the All India Holi Convocation held at Ebron, Hyderabad. The message translated into Telugu is the Lord's Servant Brother Suvarna Rao of Guntur and in Hindi by the Lord's Servant Brother, Lothar Singh of Gujarat.

His compassion will fail not, His love is eternal, His pathways are beyond our comprehension, His ways are far-spanning out, His name is wonderful. In the name of the Lord Jesus, our saviour, we must again recommend thy feet.

We believe thou hast something to say to all of us from thy word, and we feel so unworthy to come in thy presence, but we thank thee for the precious blood which thou hast made us worthy. In the merits of the precious blood we call upon thee, and we call upon thee, everyone, when they are in the pandal outside, even though very far away, they may come in any motive, but we claim thy mercy and love and favour of everyone.

Lord, shower thy mercies as thy name implies for everyone. I don't allow anybody to empty from thy presence. By faith we rebuke the power of darkness. By faith we confess your blood. Without drawing away every eye from man, without making every eye to be fixed upon thee, only thy words be heard, only thy love be tasted.

Never being here may please thee. How many of us have you called upon thee, having come in the precious blood, and pray in the name of the Lord, your saviour. We pray in the name of the Lord, your saviour.

From the beginning of this year's Holi Convocation, the very same verses are being brought to our attention almost in every gathering. Not that we have planned it ourselves, but as we pray, somehow or the other, again and again, the Spirit of God does put the same verse upon our hearts.

So God would make a mistake. The Holy Spirit is trying to bring to us the same message again and again. He must have a purpose, and get a purpose. So we humbly request you, please do not lightly treat these words of God.

You find the answer to your prayer, even a few broken words spoken by faith, will bring a better result, than a very long prayer with many nice words.

Psalm 92 and the Promise of the Fruitful Palm Tree

Now we humbly request you, you pray by simple faith. You don't remember the whole verse? Just say, Lord, verify thy word, Psalm 92, and the verse 113. So with that faith, just say to God, Lord, this verse, Psalm 92, 12, 13 and 14, and I'm sure, one day you'll find, these words being fulfilled in your life.

Because God of love, will never reject any prayer, out of faith. He says in Jeremiah 33, and verse 3, call unto me, and I will answer thee. Then He has said to us, in Psalm 81, and verse 10, open thy mouth wide, and I'll fill it.

He's not talking about, opening mouth wide, for rice and other food. Nobody says, that for rice, or any other food, you have to open your mouth, very wide,. But He says, open your mouth wide, for those things, which will, make your jaw full.

As you find, in John 16, 24, Lord is saying that, in John 16, hitherto, have ye, asked, nothing in my name. This way, Lord says, in John 16, chapter 16, hitherto, have ye, asked, nothing in my name. If you ask, you will get, so that, your pleasure, will be fulfilled.

I have seen, all these places, in the evening, of Saturday. Are, in His name, many things, in the past three years. He asked, many things. You find that, in Luke 10, chapter 17. Luke 10, chapter 17. But none of those things, made the jaw full.

Even though, in the name, Lord Jesus Christ, there are cast out demons, and He does people, done many great things. But He told them, none of these things, which we have seen, will give you, true joy.

But He told them, clearly, in which way, their joy, can be full. He told them, very clearly, in which way, their joy, can be full. Luke 10, verse 20. Luke 10, chapter 10, verse 20. He told them, that the demons, are entering you, with joy, and your names, are coming out, Your names, are written in heaven.

The Fullness of Joy Through Christ

Only then, our Lord Jesus Christ, our joy, can be full. As the Lord said, Only then, our joy, can be full. Even if we hear, many messages, even if we see, many amazing things, even if we reach, many worlds, our joy, won't be full.

Can you say, truthfully, and sincerely, that your joy is full? You find the whole message, of the Bible, towards that end. Same way, you find that, in the 1st John, and chapter 1, and verse 4. These things, we write unto you, that, your joy, may be full.

Our joy, may be full. And these things, we write to you, that, our joy, may be full. Your joy, may be full. And that's why, this wonderful book, the Bible, the word of God, is brought to us, through God's prophets.

Same message, being given, in the jail, in the leper asylum, sanatorium, among people, uncivilized, civilized, high authority, or low people, anywhere. In our society, in all the places, in all the places, whether it's a police station, whether it's a hospital, whether it's a TV, whether it's a hospital, whether it's some hospital, whether it's some place, this message is being given, to all people.

Christ’s Suffering and the Joy of Salvation

And that's why, our Lord died. Before our Lord, Jesus was betrayed, to be crucified, by Judas. And that's why, A week before that, our Lord had told his disciples three times at least, how he was going to suffer and be killed for their sake.

Having heard that, their Lord, whom they loved so much, was going to be despised, and spat upon, and reviled, and mocked, to be fight. They heard, and became very sad. Why should their Lord, with so much love, and grace, and compassion, and mercy, and goodness, suffer like this?

Whosoever came to him, was healed by him, blessed by him. With no exception. Whether they were Jews, or Samaritans, or Gentiles, anyone who came. As many as the touch were made perfectly whole. Yet he is saying to his disciples, my disciples, now I am going to be reviled, and mocked, and spat upon, and crucified.

Our Lord is going to the Gethsemane, where he was about to die. He was about to be betrayed by the Jews. As he was walking on the narrow path to Gethsemane, he spoke very slowly and lovingly these words.

As he walked, he talked. These words were recorded in John 14, then 15, and 16. Allah knew their thoughts of sadness, that's why he speaks this way. Then he is saying that in John 15, verse 11. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might be fulfilled in you, and that your joy may be full.

That thing which he spoke about his suffering, and about his reproaches for their sake. He was saying, Lord, why should you suffer? He was saying, these things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might come into you, and that your joy may be full.

He was saying, Lord, why should you suffer? Then you find his apostles giving the same message after he went to heaven. Philippians 4 .4. Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice. Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice.

Heavenly joy. Spiritual joy. Great joy. And joy for all people. Joy for you, joy for me. Joy for you, joy for me. Joy for Suvarna Rao. Joy for Radha Sen. Joy for Jesus Padam. And any Padam. Same joy. But there are some people, they look miserable.

Doesn't matter what they eat, what they drink, what they wear on. Very very long face. They might say, it's not my fault, my face is like that. My mother gave me such a face. No doubt, as a natural man, you won't have a good face.

Such a joy won't come by any natural, human, worldly qualification or possession. This joy comes by being planted in the house of God. Now what things, generally speaking, give you some joy? Two things.

Success and prosperity. Whenever you might have passed any exam in the school or university, you got some happiness, some joy. When you won any race, you got some medals, you got some joy. When you won a court case, you got some joy.

Similarly, when you got promotion, you got some joy. Similarly, when you become prosperous, your income does increase, land does increase. Got some more joy. Similarly, when you get some more income, you get some more joy.

When you have plenty of land or building of property, some joy comes in. But these joys won't last long. Only for a short period. Maybe for a few days or a few weeks or a few months or a few years. But this joy, no man can take from you.

But this joy, no man can take from you. And your joy, no man taketh from you. And your joy, no man taketh from you. Your filth might be real, but it takes away your joy. Your children becoming unthankful can take away your joy.

Similarly, your mother-in-law can take away your joy. Similarly, your mother-in-law can take away your joy. No man, no woman can take your joy away. When health fails, or you fail, joy goes away. Any disappointment can take away your joy.

Any disappointment can take away your joy. But this joy stays here. No man taketh from you. Lord is Himself saying those words. Have you told them in John 15 about a full joy? Now He is defining the same joy in chapter 16.

Your joy, no man taketh from you. At that time, disciples were looking very sad. Lord was saying, Even though I have been with you all the years, you have suffered with me and been with me. But so far, your joy is not full.

Now He says, I love you so much. And that is why I want your joy to be full. And for that purpose, I must die in your stead and rise again for your sake. And for that purpose, I must die in your stead and rise again for your sake.

How can we bear you being spat upon for our sake, scourged for our sake and killed for our sake? Lord, how can we ever tolerate such a thing? Lord, how can we ever tolerate such a thing? You are saying that by your words, our joy can be full.

Lord, these words are beyond our understanding. Oh Lord, all these words are beyond our understanding. This is true, this is absolutely true. You will never know the meaning of these words only with your own intellectual human wisdom.

Whosoever you may be. It is only the speed of God coming into you, will give you the divine wisdom to know these meanings. It is only the speed of God coming into you, will give you the divine wisdom to know these meanings.

Apostolic Joy in Persecution

Now we find after our Lord rose again, the very same people who were arguing with him before, they became mighty men. And they also began to suffer very very joyfully. And they also began to oppose to the Karimalu.

They were unlearned men. Common fishermen. Common fishermen. Now all these men of whole Jerusalem looked at them. They wondered. How can this man become so bold and so brave and so full of joy? They have no fear.

They know we have power to kill them, power to imprison them. Yet they are so bold. I know we have power to kill them, power to imprison them. Yet they are so bold. And chapter 5, verse 41,. And they departed from the presence of the council, realizing they were counted worthy, so ashamed by their name.

But they are rejoicing. They have no money. They have no building, no home. And all the Jews as a nation are against them. Wherever they went, they are being reproached for the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

What happened? What happened? They were filled with joy and the Holy Ghost. And these stables were filled with joy and with the Holy Ghost. This is heavenly joy. This is spiritual joy. Joy that is speakable.

Joy that no man can take from you. Now don't think that joy was only meant for those people and not for you. It's for you also. That the message came from heaven by the heavenly angels. Fear not. Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy.

This shall be to all people. Young people, old people. Rich people or poor people. Educated or illiterate. Outwardly gaudy people or murdered. Other muscles or limbs. Rickshaw drivers. Matric fail or PUC fail.

Even if you have failed 35 times in PUC. Even then your joy shall be full. We say by God's authority. And we also have from the same joy. We have found it. Otherwise we have no business to talk about it.

The Lamb’s Book of Life and the New Birth

And we can save authority and love for your soul. How does that joy come into us? Our Lord told us. New gospel again. And chapter 10. Verse 20. Notwithstanding in this just not. That the spirit that is under you has rejoiced.

Because your names are written in heaven. Your names are written in heaven. Not in the actual book. Not in any worldly book. Not in any denomination register. In heavenly book. All your names are found in heavenly book.

You will be surprised when you see your name missing. You will be surprised when you see your name missing. When they announce the result of an exam. They publish the result in newspaper. They only give roll number.

They don't give name there. On that day everybody go and buy the paper. Even though they have done very badly in the exam. They buy the paper with 10 new paisa. Looking for the roll number. Looking for the roll number.

775 They came to 774. Next number. 776 All joy go in the name. Next number is Nadia. See again. See again. See again. Many will find their name missing. In the book of life. Tell us truthfully. Tell us truthfully.

All your names are found in heavenly book of life. In the book of revelation. And chapter 21. And the chapter 27. And they are shouting in no voice. And they are shouting in no voice. And they are shouting in no voice.

In the book of life. But they are shouting in the lamb's book of life. It is called the lamb's book of life. The word lamb is repeated 28 times in the book of revelation. You find a very helpful study.

You must put all the efforts together of the lamb in the book of revelation. If you put the lamb in the book of revelation together. It will be very helpful for you. In John 1 .29. John 1 .29. John 1 .29.

John 1 .29. John 1 .29. John 1 .29. He said to his disciples. Behold the lamb of God. Who takes away the sin of the world. At that time the Jews were waiting for the Messiah. At that time the Jews were waiting for the Messiah.

And John never said. Behold your Messiah. He never said. Behold your Messiah. He never said. Behold your master. He never said. Behold Jesus of Nazareth. He never said. Behold Jesus of Nazareth. He never said.

Behold the Lamb of God. Behold the Lamb of God. In other words. Do you want to know that man? Then know him first of all. As God the Lamb. If you want to know him. You must know him as God the Lamb. If you want to know him.

You must know him as God the Lamb. You won't know him by seeing his miracles. Hearing his sermon. Know him. Know him. As God the Lamb. You can't know him by seeing his miracles. Or by listening to his messages.

You must know him. As God the Lamb. Lamb. One who is going to be slain. For your sins. And your defilement. And your corruption. For those who believe in that Lamb. Now I know. I believe. God just died.

As God the Lamb. Was crucified. In my stead. For my sins. As Lamb. Only their names are found in the heavenly book. To the sins are forgiven. To the guilty stand and wash away. We have found new life.

Spiritual life. Heavenly life. Nothing in this life. Only the end of this life. Only their names will be found there. Now some of you may keep in houses. Your dogs are cats. Our pigs are buffalos. And your cat goes on giving kittens after many months.

So your cat goes to your kitchen again and again. Similarly your dog goes on giving young ones. Many many puppies. And your pigs still many more. Now you won't have a book for them. You won't say my dear cat.

Gave birth to so many of my children. You won't say my dear dog. Gave so many puppies. And my dear pig. Guntur pig. Adidari pig. And Tanali pig. You won't have your book. But when God gives you children.

Why is that girl? Very very black affair. Very very black affair. Write your name. My loving heavenly father gave me this child on this day. He is so happy. You only write the names of your children in that family book.

You only write the names of your children. Not your neighbor's children. Your uncle's children. Or your dog's puppies. Or your cat's kitten. They don't belong to your family. Only those beloved girls family.

They will find their name in that book. And that's how we are planted, planted in the house of God. And that's how we are planted, planted in the house of God. You see in Ephesians epistle. The Holy Spirit uses seven names for God's people.

Fifth name is God's building. Sixth name is God's temple. Seventh name is the body of Christ. All the names have the same meaning. Body of Christ. Family of God or house of God. To show unto us our spiritual rights as God's people.

We are given these names. To show unto us our spiritual rights as God's people. We are given these names. So the psalmist says in Psalm 92. Only by being planted in the house of God. We can become like a flourishing fruit bearing palm tree till the end.

They become a group. Only then they yield much fruit. And go on yielding for a long time. And go on yielding for a long time. Because then they are given proper care and attention. Because then they are given proper care and attention.

And when they are kept together like a group. Then they receive much attention. And when these palm trees are planted in the house of God somewhere. Then these palm trees are planted in the house of God somewhere.

The House of Prayer for All People

Then you find all who come to the same house will take their share and look after him. You find the house of God, it should be open to all people. Book of Isaiah and chapter 56 and verse 7, even them will I bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer.

They burnt offering, sacrifice accepted upon my altar and my house shall be called house of prayer for all people. House of prayer for all people, house of joy for all people. The stone and the bricks and the timber and steel will make God's house.

We put together and become God's house. But only those whose hearts are cleansed of sin, they will become God's house. Book of Isaiah, chapter 57, verse 15, God lives only in two places, high in the holy place.

Basically in a humble house and in a holy place. So those persons who sinned are forgiven, have their cleanse, put together, they become God's house. Whether they are few in number or more in number, wherever they gather, you feel the presence of God.

So those who are living in sin, they are never born again. They may gather in any building, they may sing any number of songs, nobody will say, God is here, they come empty, go empty. But wherever people gather with a pure heart, whether they are very poor or very wealthy, whosoever comes in the midst, I felt there the presence of God.

Have you become a member of that house? Only then you will find heavenly joy coming in and going out. By becoming a member of the heavenly family. Now we plant the palm tree which is planted in the house of God.

All who come there will take some share in watering it, cooking of it. You find even the rich people, poor people, all take some share with pleasure. And that's why the tree will go on yielding fruit, good fruit and much fruit all the time.

A long time. They will by becoming a member of God's family. Now see for example, here we are having Hyderabad holy convocation. And you will be surprised to know how many saints of God are praying for us in every part of the world.

We have received letters from Africa, many parts of Europe, America, Canada, Australia, England and Malaysia, Asia, many parts of India, Islam and Pakistan. We have heard about the Hyderabad holy convocation and we are praying for you.

In many cases we have never seen those people, we don't know their name also. They never came here, we never went there. But by some means they found out we are also in the same family. And that's why you are able to feel the presence of God.

Not because of new songs or good sermons. No, no, no, no, no. Because the prayers of God's people that we have in every part of the world. Thank God. We are being watered by their prayers and their love constantly.

Belonging to God’s Family Through the New Birth

Oh, become a member of God's family. As a sinner, remember, you don't belong to God. God divides us in two groups. Devil's family, God's family. Satan's family, God's family. John's Gospel, chapter 8, verse 44.

You are of your father the devil. John's Gospel, chapter 1, verse 12. But as I received him, then gave him power, the sons of God. Sons of God. And the children of devil. What's your group? What's your family?

You can't give a wrong answer. You got to prove it. Which is your family? Devil's family or God's family? Only those who have received eternal life, spiritual life, divine life, pure life, God's life, they are in God's family.

Only those who have received eternal life, spiritual life, divine life, God's life, they are in God's family. Others, devil's family. If I call you son of devil, you feel like beating me. How dare you call me Suvarna Rao, son of devil?

How dare you call me Suvarna Rao, son of devil? I have no right. God has. He can say to you, you don't belong to me. The beggar may say to you, The beggar may say to you, Give me something. You won't say.

Yes, my dear son. He's only a beggar. You got to be born in the family of God. You got to be born in the family of God. And that's why our Lord was Nicodemus. And Nicodemus was outwardly leading man. In the whole nation of the Jews, there were 70 member committee to govern their affairs.

And he was one of them. A prince. Outwardly called the man. And he saw many miracles. Some of the Lord was saying, Nicodemus, So far you are in devil's family. You want to be in my kingdom. And in God's family, You must be born again.

You must be born again. You must be born again. There is only one way. To be planted in the house of God, family of God. By receiving eternal life. The same life that our Lord rose again. The death conquering life.

He died to take away our condemnation of our sins. He rose again. To live in us. And to make rivers of life to flow through us. And he was saying in John 7 .38, As I was saying, you are in my seventh chapter.

Who shall believe upon me of the valley's shelf-low rivers of living water? Who shall believe upon me of the valley's shelf-low rivers of living water? Not few drops. Not one stream. Many many rivers.

Going outside. Every year. And you will find many many rivers becoming again. And that life will make you abundantly and fully fruitful. And throughout life time, you will go on yielding everlasting fruit.

And throughout life time, you will go on yielding everlasting fruit. Everlasting love. Everlasting peace. Endless peace. Full joy. Victory over temptation. Love for the enemies. And to be able to rejoice in poverty and sickness.

Understanding of heavenly mysteries. You find that life growing. You got to be planted, planted in the house of God. When they plant a tree in the house of God, they don't do so only for a few days, a few weeks.

It's not like a bamboo. Go on pulling it out. Have you ever heard of that? That tree is kept there. Go on giving shade and shelter and fruit. Everybody coming in. Are you fine in the very similitude of God?

God’s House Welcomes Every People

There come poor people. And Madiga. And Reddy. And Gomti. What will the tree say? You are Madiga. Don't come over here. I am only for Mala. You are a Madiga. You can't have my fruit. You can't have my shade.

I only give fruit to Madiga people. Many questions. Looking for a match for a boy or a girl. First question. Is she a Madiga? Are you Mala? Are you Reddy? Are you Gomti? Is she black? Is she fat? Is she a trained nurse?

What a shame. What a darkness. What a blindness. They don't know the house of God. That tree, the house of God gives shelter and coolness and fruit to everybody. For every human being, this tree gives shade, gives fruit, gives joy and gives coolness.

It is watered by everybody. You all can become such a tree. By getting your name written in the land book of life. Soon it will be possible and our sins are forgiven and guilty sin washed away. It is possible when your sins are washed away.

In every country the law is when a child is born only in that city they have their name written. If your child is born in Hyderabad give your name in Hyderabad office. If your child is born in Hyderabad give your name in Hyderabad office.

Send a cable to the president of America. My child was born in Guntur. Will you write my child's name in America? I want my child to be an American citizen. I will pay so much money. What happened to you?

You go to jail. Where your child is born? Only there are the names. Otherwise you go to mental asylum. Where is your name? In the land book of life. And the Lord will wash you of all your sins by the blood.

Are you conscious of the life flowing into you? Do you find the life increasing? Are you becoming more and more diverse? There is some proof. We are conscious of divine life coming constantly. We are conscious of divine life coming constantly.

Our loving heavenly father. Our loving heavenly father. God of grace, mercy and peace. In the name of Lord Jesus of Sevilla we thank thee this evening. Thank thee for thy loving presence. Thank thee for thy unchanging love.

Thank thee for thy abundant grace. Thank thee for the gift of eternal life. Thank thee for thy willingness to write on the book of life. Thank thee for thy longing to make us members of the heavenly family.

Thank thee for thy desire to write our name in the book of life. Thank thee for thy desire to write our name in the book of life. Thank thee for thy desire to write our name in the book of life. May many among us have their name written in the heavenly book of life this evening.

Lord, we humbly beseech you. Write the name of many in the book of life. And water it. And preserve it. And multiply it. And make it clear by the spirit. We pray in the name of the Lord your savior. Amen.
