Kauai as a Mission Field

Getting to Kauai is a pretty powerful one. I was coming to this island because some members of Apologia Church were renewing their wedding vows, and so they asked us to come to renew their vows, sort of a top-secret covert mission, not letting his wife know, and Kauai wasn't even on my map, not even in my thoughts.

And after being on the island for just a limited time, just a couple of days, we immediately began to see the spiritual climate of the island. The island is in many ways dominated by the cults from north to south.

You have the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, you have Roman Catholicism, you have Mormonism, you have the New Age, you have woo-woo kind of spiritual cults, Buddhism, you have a Shinto temple. It's just strange.
