Mormon: Jesus & Satan Are Brothers

Jeff Durbin spoke with some workers at the Visitor Center of the Mormon Temple in Mesa, Arizona, during the most recent Christmas Lights event. At least on of the women was a returned Mormon missionary. Jeff asked them why they are Latter-day Saints and they responded that they had prayed about it and that's how they know it is true. They were also asked about their belief about Jesus Christ. Mormons believe that Jesus is the literal offspring (in the pre-existence) of Elohim (heavenly father) and one of his goddess wives. They believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers. Jeff was able to point them to one (of many) text that demonstrates that Jesus is the Creator of all things (John 1:1-3; see also Col. 1:17-18).
