Here once again is Pastor Gabe. Thank you, Becky, and greetings, everyone. I'm kind of making up for lost time with this episode.
It'll be a little bit shorter. We'll just do about a half an hour here, but still want to read from the
Psalms, respond to a couple of questions, and then I'm gonna play a what video that I did just recently.
Let's start with Psalm 1. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
I was meditating on this Psalm just recently, was thinking about what is it that the scoffer is scoffing at?
Well, the scoffer is one who mocks, he has contempt and scorn, he derides.
What specifically is he mocking at? But the law of the Lord. The wise man, the one who is blessed, delights in the law of the
Lord and meditates on it day and night. Not so with the sinner. He doesn't delight in the law of God, he doesn't follow it.
The scoffer mocks at it. He mocks at virtue, he mocks at truth. He doesn't listen to what
God has to say, but follows the delights of his own heart rather than delighting in the word of God.
You'll see people out there right now that are getting tossed to and fro by every cultural wind, by everything that kind of pops up into the news cycle.
They get passionate about that. Not so crazy about the doctrine of God, but they love reading about the latest fad that's going on and maybe will latch onto it.
Maybe they've got some sort of social media channel that it helps feed into. And if they're talking about the latest thing, then they are pleasing their potential audience.
Getting those clicks on X so I can make the X bucks or on YouTube, getting the views so that I can get the residuals from that.
In the meantime, they scoff at what God has said in his word. They don't follow the word.
They're not grounded upon the word. Instead, they are like the chaff that the wind drives away.
That's later on in verse four. So verse three, the man who delights in the law of the Lord is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore, verse five, the wicked will not stand in the judgment nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
Know what God's word says, apply it to your heart, live it out in your life.
Don't be tossed to and fro by every new doctrine, new idea that comes along or even what's happening in the news cycle.
But instead we remain fixed on the solid rock who is Christ.
We're gonna talk about some of those things that are getting tossed to and fro about in the culture. On May the 8th, that was a day that was referred to as Disclosure Day.
Disclosure, what is Disclosure Day? Well, it's a movie that's coming out from Steven Spielberg.
What timing, he's got that movie coming out later this year that's not an endorsement for the film.
I don't endorse movies on this program if I have to mention that. Well, except for The Great Awakening.
I still have to watch that, I'm sorry. I know I've got a couple of people that are waiting for me to watch The Great Awakening and give my take and I still haven't seen that movie.
It's available on Amazon Prime though, it was pointed out to me. So I just need to purchase it and find some time to sit down and watch it.
I can't even find time to record the episode of the podcast. Anyway, so not an endorsement for the film, but Steven Spielberg has a movie coming out called
Disclosure Day and it happened in the same year that we had something called
Disclosure Day where the US government released a bunch of files on UFOs.
And of course, you got the charismatic preachers out there latching onto this and saying, well, this is actually a scheme by the government that's gonna lead your children astray.
So anyway, I did a video responding to some of that. I'm gonna play it at the end of this program, which will eat up some of the time that I have here.
Let's get to some questions. So on the Friday edition of the broadcast, we take questions from the listeners and you can send those questions to whenweunderstandthetext at gmail .com
or you can send us a voicemail, go to speakpipe .com slash
WWUTT. You used to be able to go to the website and click on it from there and you still can't find it from the website.
The website's just not doing well right now. And I know I'm terrible. I still haven't fixed the problems with it. But speakpipe .com
slash WWUTT, click on record and you can record a question from your computer or from your cell phone.
And we would love to hear from you. Let me play this first one comes from Joaquin. Hey Gabe and Becky, this is
Joaquin from Toledo, Ohio. I was recently just visited by a couple people at my door.
They said they were from WATV or the World Mission Society Church of God.
Their Google page doesn't say too much there. They didn't have too much to say on what they believed or who they were.
They just mentioned they were non -denominational yet their Google description seems to be pretty cluttered with weird theological interpretations, heavenly mothers and spiritual wives.
And so I just wondered if you knew anything about them and what your take on the
World Mission Society Church of God was. Thanks a lot. See you later. I have no personal experience with the
World Mission Society Church of God. I've never met anyone from them. I have been contacted by them via email.
As a matter of fact, I got a threat by them one time via email because I had written or said something about them on social media and somebody sent me an email.
I mean, just threatening like, be careful what you say. Anyway, that's,
I'd have to search and dig up the email from somewhere but I know I got a threat from them at some point.
A number of years ago, I did an article about people who claim to be the return or the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.
And I gave several occasions in which this has happened throughout history. Jesus warned us in Matthew chapter 24, many false
Christs and false prophets will arise. Some will claim to be the Christ, don't follow after them.
Jesus warned his disciples. And so I did an article talking about some of those, some of those claims that Christ had returned when he hadn't or some people would even said that they were the second coming of Jesus Christ.
And among them was Aung San Hong, who was the founder of the World Mission Society Church of God.
The movement was started in South Korea in 1964. And like you mentioned,
Joaquin, they believe in God the father and God the mother. Just like the Mormons believe there is a heavenly father and a heavenly mother who have procreated and made all of us.
Well, they believe in a heavenly mother, which is also called Jerusalem mother, regarded as God incarnate alongside
God the father. And they draw this interpretation or they draw this idea of a heavenly mother from their interpretation of Genesis 1, 26 to 27, where God says, let us make man in our image and then he makes them male and female.
Oh, well, that must mean that there's also a heavenly mother. That's how they've twisted that teaching.
That's where they come up with that. Again, they believed that Aung San Hong was the second coming of Christ.
Founder was born in 1918, died in 1985, and was seen as Jesus returning in the flesh, fulfilling various prophecies.
And then after he died, they just believe that Jesus ascended back into heaven. So it didn't dissuade them in any way, making them think, oh, well, he could not have possibly been the second coming of Christ because he came and then he died.
No, they think he just went back into heaven. So they still believe of him. They still think of him as being the return of Christ to restore certain things, like for example, the
Passover, which the church had forgotten about. I know they practice Passover, not the
Lord's table. There's also a strict adherence of Saturday being the Sabbath kind of like the
Seventh -day Adventists do. There are the seven feasts of God, like the
Hebrew roots will follow. But the world mission, Society Church of God is very much a cult.
And some of the people that have come out of that movement have talked about great abuses that they suffered, threats, like I received a threat.
They have issued threats in other ways, especially to the people that are part of their group, just like you will have with any cult.
If you leave us, well, then you're definitely going to hell. Like hell is reserved for you, the people who once were part of the
World Mission Society Church of God, but have left it. It's kind of like Mormonism does the same thing. The worst parts of hell are reserved for those who had previously been
Mormon and left because they want to terrify people from leaving their group.
And so the WMSCOG does the same thing. There was a couple of episodes of cultish.
I believe that they did like a part one and a part two, talking with people who had come out of the
World Mission Society Church of God. So if you're familiar with cultish, you can find them on YouTube.
Those interviews are on YouTube, if you want to know a little bit more about the group. I don't really know how widespread it is in the
United States, because like I said before, I've never personally encountered anyone from that group.
I know that they will be real sneaky. I mean, they will sound like they are Christian and then win people in and kind of draw them into their cult and then follow their abuses to keep people there.
I don't know how much caution I need to issue to warn people about their tactics.
I don't even know straightforwardly what their tactics would be. I know if you listen to the couple of interviews that cultish did, you'll get a little bit more detail from people who were actually there, who actually experienced the group.
But yeah, for me, it's obviously not a real church.
It's wicked. It is leading people astray to worshiping a man as Christ who is not really
Christ. So stay far away from it. It's amazing that there is enough of them out there. You actually encountered somebody who's going door to door.
I've never seen that before either. So maybe if you live in a large enough metropolitan area, there's probably a church there and they've got some door knockers like Jehovah's Witnesses.
But not anything that I've experienced. I think you were the first person I've ever heard from that said, yeah,
I've directly encountered somebody from this particular church. But like I said,
South Korean based and they have people in the United States that are recruiting for them as well.
Okay, let's go to this next question. This comes from Roberto. This is another one that was another voicemail that was sent to us.
Hey, Pastor Gabe, it's Roberto. I've left the voicemail plenty of times in the past, but I was just reaching out because I was just listening to your podcast and you started speaking about the lack of respect for authority.
And I do recognize that here today. Now, I wanted to see if you could talk a little bit about probably the opposite side of the spectrum, which is the authority overstepping their boundaries.
For example, I went to my in -laws church and one of the adults at this church, they just randomly grabbed my baby's cheeks, like her face cheeks, because she's just big and chunky.
And I kindly, respectfully said, please don't do that. Please don't touch my baby's face.
And at least in the Hispanic culture, that can be seen as disrespectful for some reason.
Even though we are both grown adults, I'm significantly younger than the other. But yeah, I just wanted to hear your thoughts in regards to that side of the spectrum and how maybe we can combat that and see that from a biblical view.
Yeah, I don't know that that's necessarily an abuse of authority. That's just disrespecting personal space, maybe.
But I wouldn't see that unless that person had a position of authority and was using that to grab your baby's face.
I don't really see that as being an abuse necessarily, if that makes sense. Of course, there are abuses in the church, lots of abuse of authority that goes on.
Those are things that I've addressed before with regard to a person who wants the role of an overseer.
As 1 Timothy 3 .1, if a man desires the role of an overseer, he desires a noble task.
But there are qualifications that a person must have in order to be appointed to that position of authority in a church, especially the authority to preach and teach.
And in 1 Peter 5, verse one, Peter says, I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly as God would have you, not for shameful gain, but eagerly, not domineering over those in your charge.
And there you have the warning about, don't abuse your authority, not domineering over others, but being examples to the flock, considering others more significant than yourself.
Verse four, and when the chief shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger be subject to the elders, clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
So the younger need to have respect for the older. We do need to have respect for our elders. That's the instruction is given straightforwardly right there in 1
Peter 5, 5. But even those who have those positions of authority, or even those who we would consider to be elder, they also need to be humble toward those that they may have authority over.
We have humility toward one another because, as said in Proverbs, we see this verse also in the book of James, God opposes the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.
So with regard to the proper exercise of authority, we all need to recognize that there is always going to be an authority that's higher than us.
And Paul makes that point. He draws that out in several places. Ephesians chapter five, and going into chapter six as well,
Colossians chapter three, everyone is got to serve somebody. So no matter what sort of position of authority you have, even if you're the president of the
United States, you have somebody that's over you. There is an authority that you have to submit to.
We all have to submit to God. There are positions of hierarchy and authority in the world that we must acknowledge and pay honor and respect to those who deserve that honor because of the authority that they hold.
Peter even talked about that earlier in first Peter chapter two. We see that in Romans chapter 13, pay to whom honor is owed.
And if you have authority over you, then you need to honor and respect that authority. Maybe the person that's holding that authority, maybe they're not worthy of that kind of honor, but is the office or the position that they hold, is that something that is deserving of honor?
And we do have to submit to that particular authority. As said in Romans chapter 13, the authorities that exist have been appointed by God.
And so if we are going to be in submission to God, we must be in submission to that authority that he has appointed.
But otherwise, Joaquin, I understand your frustration with somebody just grabbing your baby's face.
I had this happen to me when I was a kid. Growing up, it was all the time. I grew up in the South. I was born in South Carolina, grew up in the
Southeastern part of the United States. You always had those ladies at church who were always doing something like that, messing with your hair, grabbing your cheeks, kissing on you.
They go, why are you doing this? You're not my mom. But that was just Southern ladies. It was,
I guess that was called Southern hospitality. I didn't consider it to be all that hospitable.
But just be communicating and saying, like you said, please don't touch my baby's face. We do need to respect personal space, but I wouldn't necessarily consider the invasion of personal space to be the same as disrespecting authority.
Now, you may have come at that from the standpoint of, you're the father, so you're the authority.
And so that authority does need to be respected when it comes to my children. I decide my children's space.
I decide who gets oversight of them, things like that. But who had authority in this instance in which they were abusing that authority to come and pinch your baby's face?
Not really sure. But anyway, I understand the frustration with that. I remember when my son was born, my oldest son, who's now 14.
When he was born, this is my firstborn son, right? I have another older child, my daughter
Annie, who was three when he was born, but this is different. This is my firstborn son.
And we went to a gathering at somebody's house for our church. And there were probably 30 or 40 people there or something like that at this gathering.
And my newborn son is just two or three weeks old at this time. And of course, he's adorable to everybody.
So immediately he gets taken from my arms. I'm coming into this party holding my newborn son and somebody's taking him from me and passing my son around.
So we were sitting around in a circle in some part of the house, the living room, I guess. I'm not sure.
But my wife sensed that I was really not in a good place.
It's just Becky's intuition, right? I could feel her just like touching my arm in a certain way.
And I looked at her and she goes, it's okay. And my reply to her was, he's new to me too.
Like, I want to hold my new son. So that was frustrating for me, but that was one of those instances where I kind of just had to let it go.
I was a pastor. So I had to be polite about the whole thing, even though I wanted to hold my newborn son and didn't want to make a scene that all of the church ladies who were having their adorable moments with him as well.
Anyway, so just good communication in that respect. Be kind, be polite.
Don't cause a conflict where you don't need to cause a conflict. But I do understand and sympathize with you that whole thing of respecting personal space.
I don't know that that's strictly something that has to do with your culture. I think that can just be simply a personal preference.
I would rather you not invade the space of my child if my child doesn't want you to.
All right, we go on now to an emailed question. These last two have been voicemail.
Here's one from Diane. She says, dear Pastor Gabe, have you heard of TC Cannon's new forgiveness?
It's all over social media. When researched, her exegesis does not seem right.
Repentance must match forgiveness one for one, seven times seven, or else the one forgiving is sinning.
Really? Sadly, women are lapping up this new forgiveness like angels' nectar straight from heaven.
I fear she is harming women much more than helping. Can you please set the record straight?
So appreciative of your wisdom. Well, I thank you for thinking of me, Diane, and asking that question, but I'll be honest with you.
I've not heard of this. I don't know what this is. I know who TC Cannon is, but vaguely.
Like, I know that she was interviewed on a couple of podcasts.
I've seen clips of those interviews on YouTube. I think she had an interview with Mike Winger. There was another one with Alyssa Childers.
And so I've seen that she's had those conversations. I didn't watch those full interviews.
I've just seen a few clips here and there. So I'm aware of her, like I have an awareness of her, but not really what her reputation is or what she teaches.
And so this thing, new forgiveness, I'm unfamiliar with that. I don't know what that is. But since it's all over social media, if you could send me a link or guide me to something that I can look at and watch or read or something like that,
I would love to take a look at it and get familiar with this, especially if it's something that's all over the place.
If more people are reading this, then I would like to be aware of what it is that's out there. So again,
I thank you for thinking that I may have an answer here, but I'm not familiar with this and would like to learn more.
All right, well, I thank you again for sending in your questions. I've got one more I'm gonna respond to here, but first I'm gonna play the video that I did on disclosure day.
It was about 13 and a half minutes or so. Don't forget that you can subscribe to the YouTube channel, youtube .com
slash WWUTT. We'll get you straight to the channel. I don't publish videos as often as I did anymore simply because it's been a time issue.
But when the whole disclosure thing happened last week, I had enough clips in front of me that I could throw something together and managed to pull it off Friday or Saturday when
I posted this, I think. I can't remember when it was. But anyway, so here is that video.
Some things in the video are visual and would probably help you a lot more knowing what's going on.
But I think from the audio, you can get the gist of this as well. And then I've got one more question to respond to on the other side.
So here you go. On May the 5th, a bunch of posts started hitting social media about how
UFO disclosure was coming. And apparently a bunch of people in or connected with the US government really want charismatic pastors to be in on it.
This post came from the Daily Mail. Religious leaders told to prepare now for UFO disclosure to unleash
Bible -changing revelations. Well, it's not gonna change anything about the Bible, but we'll come back to that.
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed there are UFO files that have been submitted for release.
Every other president before President Trump could have said, hey, let's look at that and get the American people the information. What did he do?
He stood up an interagency process with Department of War leading that effort to get out the documentation related to everything that you're talking about.
President Trump has talked about this, even former President Barack Obama, who has said he thinks he would be a good emissary to greet our alien visitors.
First contact. I think I would be a good emissary for the planet.
You represent me. Yeah, I mean, I've got diverse background, some experience in statecraft and diplomacy.
But ahead of this disclosure, a number of charismatic pastors were summoned to meet with insiders so they can prepare the church for what's coming.
Here is what charismatic preacher Perry Stone had to say. There were a large number of pastors that had been invited to go to a certain state to hear some men in the
United States government and others share with them a concern that they had.
And this particular man, I'll not name him, and then we may end up doing some teachings with him or having an event at his church, he has a great church.
But he said, Perry, what they're about to release from what we're hearing, there's going to be a release concerning aliens and concerning unidentified flying object spacecraft that some of the people who were in the meeting were telling us as pastors, you need to prepare your people and you need to get ready to answer them for what you're about to hear being released.
And some of it has to do with crafts that have been discovered that are not allegedly a part of our planet and the materials they're made of are not a part of our planet.
Very strange reptilian looking creatures and other things that almost sound like something out of a sci -fi movie.
Mike Signorelli was another one, a false prophet and a prosperity preacher. He said on May 6th, the rumors are real.
I was brought into a private briefing with other pastors, no phones, no cameras, no recordings.
We were told plainly disclosure is coming and what follows will shake the faith of many.
If pastors don't start preparing their people now, it will be too late. It's funny how it's just a bunch of charismatic pastors who get dragged into these meetings, right?
As this disclosure happens, you're going to see generation Z actually start to adopt this as a religion.
Your children, they could be a part of a portion of the body of Christ who fall away. And for the first time in history, there are more people who believe in aliens than believe in God.
Now that guy right there is Alan Dido or Didio. I'm not sure how to pronounce it.
It reminds me of Dido. I want to thank you. Didio shared
Perry Stone's video and said, I was in this meeting and it's absolutely true.
Hold on to that because it will be important. Larry Raglin is a pastor from Alabama. He also said that he attended this secret meeting and said there was a sitting
U .S. representative who addressed the meeting via a phone call. We would later learn that congressman was
Eric Burleson from Missouri. And here is what Raglin said. We had a sitting congressman, a very well -known congressman from Missouri.
He called into that meeting as well. That was just for pastors. And this is what he said.
On speakerphone, this sitting powerful member of Congress said, are the pastors listening to me?
I'm getting chills right now because this happened to me. He said, are the pastors in the room listening to me? And I said, yes, sir, we are here.
And he said, listen to me, go and tell the church. They are not ready for what is coming.
The narrative that is coming, what they are going to say is going to be like nothing you can even imagine.
They are preparing to tell us that they are from another dimension, that they are our creator, and that these beings, these aliens, or whatever you want to call them, they were the ones that seated us here.
There is no such thing as God. Jesus was invented by them. The Bible was invented by them. And begin to just say, listen, prepare the people for what is coming because they're not ready.
But then Raglin had to backtrack and apologize for making it sound like he was attributing things to congressman
Burleson that Burleson did not say. He stated that a congressman from Missouri had called in to speak to the pastors.
And of course, it's being revealed now that that is congressman Eric Burleson. And he did call in, but he called in to encourage us and to thank us pastors for the work that we're doing and that we are speaking the truth to our people and pointing them to Jesus and not get distracted of things in the world.
In that moment, I begin to state things that I have always said, that is my opinion.
And my opinion is, and that's exactly all it is, is my opinion, that when this disclosure comes out, that it will be spun, that it is, that the aliens have always been here, that they seeded us, that they created the first religion and all of that.
I should have stopped and paused and said, and this part is my opinion. In the heat of that,
I didn't. I led with saying that they had called the pastors and I went straight into my opinion. So I wanna make it very clear that Eric Burleson did not say those words, those were my words.
And I want to own it. Congresswoman Ana Paulina Luna of Florida also posted on X and said, really,
I've not heard of this and we're running point on it. Well, now people are going, okay, so what was really said in this meeting?
Cause it just sounds like you guys are sensationalizing everything. So doing some damage control, the DO posted a video on the morning of May the 7th, looks like he was talking to maybe his church congregation the night before.
And he said, okay, well, there were actually two identical meetings. I was invited to this meeting and here's a little insight that may be causing some confusion.
From what I understand, there are two identical meetings organized by the same individuals.
And he says before his audience that he was part of the smaller meeting. He was not at the meeting that Perry Stone was talking about.
Two identical meetings organized by the same individuals. One was a little bit bigger, which I believe is the one that Perry Stone is referring to.
And one was a little bit smaller. I was invited to both meetings. The first one, I was like, nah, no, thank you.
The second one, I happened to be in the area and I was able to make it to the location. Even though right here, he said,
I was in this meeting and it's absolutely true. Someone I know who has extensive experience within the armed forces,
I shall say, it tells me about the legitimacy of this meeting and invites me to this meeting.
I go to this Airbnb in the middle of nowhere, Tennessee, on a dark, it was at night on this dark road in the middle of this neighborhood.
And I'm asked when I get on the property to turn my phone on airplane mode. This is weird, guys.
This is not sensationalizing it. It is sensational. It's weird. Well, it was probably two to three hours with a slideshow to boot.
Very, very sighted, very sourced and referenced, very in -depth, very detailed, and I'm not able to record it.
Listen, I was in the Charismatic Church for over a decade and this is very common, overly sensationalizing things, making people fearful and getting them to think that these guys have all the answers.
But we can't trust anything that they say because they can't even remember who was in what meeting and which one it was that they attended.
Is there some kind of disclosure day coming? Well, there's gonna be something because Patel said they're declassifying a bunch of stuff.
What's been released so far is just more black and white blurry videos. As artist Doug TenNapel jokes, this changes everything about our
Bibles. Many charismatics are seizing on it though, saying, look, they're angels. It's just like Ezekiel's vision in Ezekiel chapter one.
Really? Cherubim leaving a vapor trail? Even the politicians are jumping in. But the more
I look into this, the more I see the Old Testament and what was told to us there of fallen angels and Nephilim.
I mean, this is in the Bible. Presumably there's more shocking disclosure to come. Either that or this is a very calculated ad campaign for the new
Steven Spielberg movie, Disclosure Day. This 79 year coverup of the truth has to end.
So what does the church need to do to prepare for this? Well, the cryptid podcast
Blurry Creatures said, if your pastor has modeled humility, showing he doesn't have all the answers to everything, then his church will handle disclosure just fine.
But if he's the kind to present himself to have an answer to everything, don't be surprised when his congregation panics.
Well, I think we can be even more specific. I responded and said, if your pastor is devoted to preaching the word, proclaiming the gospel, calling out sin, teaching godliness, does not get blown around by every wind of cultural talking points and exhorts the church to hold fast to Christ in all things, then disclosure will rattle no one.
Our trust is in Christ and his word. But what if something comes along that changes the way we understand that word?
Going back to what the Daily Mail said, what if these are Bible changing revelations? Well, they might be.
And let me explain what I mean. Every time some false teacher comes around and gets a bunch of people to believe what he's peddling, he always has some
Bible changing revelation, doesn't he? It's always something that changes the way people read the
Bible. The emergent church movement, identity politics, prosperity theology, progressive
Christianity. Oprah Winfrey saying on national television that there are millions of ways to God.
There are millions of ways to be a human being. Then how do you please God? And many ways, no, but many paths to what you call
God. They always claim this will change the way that you read the Bible, even twisting the word to make it mean what they want it to mean.
But you will not be duped by it. If you fear God, read this and trust what it says and be part of a solid
Bible teaching church. Ephesians 4 .14 says the church is a place where we protect one another from being carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
So whether this is UFOs or demons or a ruse or just some more black and white videos, don't be taken by the hysteria.
Isaiah 8 .12 -13 says, do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy and do not fear what they fear nor be in dread.
But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear and your dread.
So what do you think is more dangerous to the church? UFO disclosure or these guys?
I think about Josh's prophecy with 2027. Angels are being released right now. Angels are being dispatched right now.
Amanda, Atta, Atta, Ratta, Dada, Baka, Sanda. I've been covenant with God almighty.
I am God almighty. Believe in the
Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. He who died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice and rose again from the grave.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God where he intercedes on behalf of those who believe in him.
He is coming back again to judge the living and the dead. But as said in 1 John 1 .7, if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his son cleanses us from all sin.
And on the day of his return, you will not be in darkness for that day to surprise you when we understand the text.
As a follow -up to that video, this question comes from Rose. She says, hello, brother
Gabe. Long time, no talk. Not sure if you remember me or not. Rose, I absolutely do remember who you are.
And if memory serves, I think you're from Hershey, Pennsylvania. Is that right? Anyway, she said,
I used to send you books when you were down South and you also cited one of my videos, at least the video, not me directly in your book on selected scriptures.
Yeah, 40 of the most popular Bible verses I think was that book. Anyway, I just watched your recent video on UFOs and I noticed something and wondered if I should ask you sort of personal, but I'm gonna go for it hoping that you won't be offended.
Did you have something done to remove a mole on your face? Please say you laughed at that and weren't offended as the old idiom goes, curious minds want to know or something like that.
Your sister in the Lord from Pennsylvania. Thank you so much, Rose. Yes, I did have something on my face that I had removed.
In fact, if you go back to older videos like pre -COVID, then you'll see that it got pretty large.
It might've been, wasn't quite dime size, but it was pretty close to that. It was not a mole.
I can't remember what it was called. My dermatologist told me, but it was growing.
And so he had said to me, it's not harmful as it was expanding, I thought, this could be melanoma or something.
Do I have cancer on my face? So I may really need to get this checked out. I'm not really that into my looks so much.
I've got the face made for radio as Todd Friel and I both like to joke, but if it was gonna be something harmful, then
I needed to get it taken care of. So I talked to a dermatologist about it, actually two of them. So I had it taken care of once when
I was in Kansas and then I had it taken care of again when we moved here to Arizona.
So when it happened in Kansas, it was actually after COVID. And so it was difficult to get into a dermatologist's office because you remember how locked down everything was in 2020, but I did have a dermatologist in Manhattan, Kansas.
This is like the history of my skin. I don't know why anybody's interested in this, but anyway, they did tell me that it really was harmless, that it would expand.
It may stop expanding, but it could just keep going, but it was not gonna hurt me in any way.
And so he said, I can take it off if you want, or you can just let it be, it's up to you.
And I said, no, I wanna get rid of it because it is right there on the front of my face. It would be nice to get rid of this thing.
So they froze it off and it came right off. The first time it was treated in Kansas, they did not get all of it.
And so it started to grow back in. And then when I had it treated here, since coming to Arizona, they got all of it and nothing has come back.
So I don't know if that will end up being an issue again or not. And I just mentioned this, it's probably more detailed than you wanted, but I mentioned this because several people have asked.
I'll get an email every once in a while from somebody asking, like, I am concerned about what's on your face.
Have you talked to a dermatologist about it and had it looked at? It wasn't cancer. It wasn't even something that was gonna be harmful to me in any way.
It just was a very surface level skin blemish. And by freezing it, it was able to come off.
So praise God. And I thank you for your concern about me seeing that in those videos.
Even having it on my face didn't stop me from doing videos. Because like I said, I'm not really into that.
I'm not into my looks that much anyway. I've accepted what I look like is, I am what you get, you know?
My voice is probably a little more pleasing to listen to than my face is to look at. So I'm comfortable with that.
But anyway, I am thankful though that it's gone. You can now log me in with those pastors that have had cosmetic surgery.
It wasn't plastic surgery. I didn't get a Botox injection or anything like that. But I guess now
I am one of those pastors who's had cosmetic surgery. All right, if you have a question you'd like to send to the podcast, you can send those questions to when we understand the text at gmail .com

Becky gives you her love. We have just been bogged down finishing up school here in the month of May.
Hopefully things will return back to normal for us very soon. But in the meantime, wanted to get a
Q &A out for you. And I hope to be back on the study in Acts and finishing up Jeremiah here very, very soon.
Thank you for listening to the podcast and letting others know about our ministry. Heavenly Father, we thank you for teaching us according to your word and lead us in the way of life everlasting.
Set our steps in the path of one who is blessed by God as we read about in Psalm 1, who meditates on the word of God and who does what it says.
Keep us far from the ways of sinners or out of the seat of scoffers, but our delight would be in Christ our savior.
It's in his name we pray, amen. Thank you for listening to when we understand the text with Pastor Gabe Hughes.
