John MacArthur Calls "The Chosen" Unbiblical vs Allen Parr Who Love it & Wants Acting Role

Hello, just a quick video here of John MacArthur reacting to the hit TV show, The Chosen. I wanted to put John MacArthur's reaction over and against Alan Parr's reaction. But first, look at Dallas Jenkins and his t-shirt.

It says, Get Used to Different. This is his slogan for the show, Get Used to Different. John MacArthur picks up on this. Here is a show supposedly about Jesus and the biblical story, but it's different.

The Chosen and the Claim to Be Different

It's not in line with the Bible. So let's listen to John MacArthur, we'll get his take, followed up by Alan Parr, who has a totally different reaction to the show.

Nothing has the power that the Word of God has. I think about that when I see this film, The Chosen. I guess, I don't like that. I don't like that because some of it's biblical and some of it's not. And you can't make up the Bible story any way you want.

Fidelity to the Bible is everything.

Wanting a Role in The Chosen

Final question, and me, I'm sure you're always looking for actors to join your wonderful cast. And you know, how can I be considered for a role in an upcoming episode of The Chosen? I mean, hey.

I will say this.

You do have a head start on most people who ask, by having skin color that isn't bright white. Some people go, can I be in the show? And I'm like, you do not look like you're from first century Middle East.

So you do have a head start on that. But yeah, we got to get you out to the set sometime. These LDS friends that I have do love the same Jesus that I do.
