Hebrews 12:1-2 — Don McClure
In this sermon, the preacher tells a story about a young boy who takes a shortcut near an insane asylum despite being warned not to. As he runs, he is chased by a large man from the asylum, causing him great fear. The preacher uses this story to illustrate the various fears that people face in life, some real and some not. However, the main point of the sermon is that the fear of God's judgment is the most important fear that everyone should have. The preacher emphasizes that there are two ways to stand before God: through the law or through faith in Jesus Christ.
