Hello, welcome back to Daily Bites of God's Word. This is Andy Cain. It's a joy to be back with you once again. Today we're looking at Psalm 119, verse 43.
It says, This is piggybacking on verse 41 where he says,
Your loving kindness I want to come to me, and your salvation is according to your promise.
So then he repeats in 42, he says, Now here in 43, he says,
Not only do I want your word, I don't want you to ever take it away from me.
Do not take away the word of truth from my mouth. Let it be what I speak. Let it be what comes from my heart, out of my mouth, and also in my actions.
Let your word of truth. It's the only word of truth. It is the word of truth that we have available in this world because it is the thing that tells us where we come from, why we're here, who is our
God. If there is a God, what he has promised to us. And it is this word of truth that we want to see in our lives.
He says, What is right?
What is wrong? What should I be looking at? What shouldn't I be looking at? What should
I be saying, not saying, looking, engaging in? The things I should be pursuing.
What should my life look like? It's based on the judgments of God, based on the word of truth.
We need to pattern everything about our lives, our churches, our work environments, our ministries, everything that we have, everything that we are is by the grace of God.
And so it reasons that everything that we have, everything that we are, everything that we do, and everything that we should be should be based on the word of truth,
God's word. And that is how I want to live my life. And it's how I hope that you want to live your life.
